Holiday rentals with a patio in Plitvička Jezera

The apartment is very clean and tidy, in a good location, the price is good, the only thing is that there is no elevator, which fortunately we were old enough to overcome.

Mate’s cabin looks just like the photos. We arrived very late at night and it was raining/foggy next day so didn’t get to enjoy much of the view but we could imagine how beautiful it must be on clear day- as it’s in middle of mountains and has nice outdoor swing/porch. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans and essentials like oil, coffee/tea. The WiFi was excellent! It’s about 10-15 minutes from entrance 1 to plitvice lakes which is convenient. The road to get there is a bit windy and high up but not bad at all. It was cold outside for us but the place had a good heater (in bathroom too which is separated just outside the main room) so we were very comfortable and the water temperature was great too-very hot (or cold if you like that 😆). Good stay, we want to come back in the summer!

A beautiful spot to stay when visiting the Plitvice lakes. the cottage is 15 minutes from the park entrance and there are lots of nice shops and restaurants around. our host provided helpful recommendations. it was a bit chilly during our visit and we were especially thankful for the powerful heater in the bathroom! a very cozy and peaceful stay

We had an amazing stay at Ljubica’s place! The location was perfect—just a 5-minute drive to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The property itself is breathtaking, situated right by a charming waterfall, which made for a serene and unique experience. Falling asleep to the sound of cascading water was magical! Ljubica was a fantastic host—kind, attentive, and helpful with local tips (and even gave us little welcoming gifts which were fantastic). The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Plitvice adventure. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting the lakes!

Perfect location if you want to be off the beaten path but still very close to Plitvice park and restaurants. Very quiet street with kitties, watched the sunrise while having coffee outside. Hot water for shower needed some explaining esp since we are from Florida - would absolutely stay here again!

Renato proved to be a good host. We were greeted by a warm and tidy house. Communication with Renata was timely with clear instructions on how to get to the property. We found the place without any problems. The house is located in a quiet setting. Definitely recommend. If there's an opportunity, I'll be back.

The apartment is modernly furnished and there is everything you need, there is also plenty of parking space. A few steps away is a small supermarket and about 5 minutes away is a good pizzeria. There is a nice path directly to the entrance of the Plitvizer Lakes, about 15 minutes downhill. In the end, however, you have to go uphill again. For 2 days it was perfect and everything was tip top! Thanks, it was really nice staying with you!
