Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Plymouth

Perfect accomodation for a couple of touring cyclists. Clean bathroom, with piping hot shower. Room had kettle and drinks, and a TV. Paula made us a fabulous continental breakfast, with loads of cereal choices, as much toast as you could eat, plus juice, yoghurt, fruit compote, pain au chocolate and fresh coffee. Perfect for an active day ahead. The location is a few miles outside the centre of Holsworthy, and the road is busy with fast cars, so not great for cycling on at night.

As ever Jan was a fantastic host. Lovely rooms with a great view and excellent breakfasts.

Katie was very friendly and the view out of our window over the fields of sheep and cows was lovely. A very rural and secluded location, but within minutes of Ashburton. We will definitely stay at Katie‘s place next time we are in in Devon.

Nogle dejlige rolige dage i et historisk interessant sted i landlige omgivelser. Princetown er et godt udgangspunkt for vandreture over heden. Det er muligt at spise aftensmad i Princetown, som ligger en km fra Tor Royal Farm. Hyggeligt at bo på en gård med køer, får og venlige hyrdehunde.

Amazing find of a place on the south side of Plymouth, near ferry departures. Friendly, helpful host and excellent response times. Great value.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay here. Linda and Alan were super welcoming, and seemed to have the perfect balance of being friendly & professional. They actually went above and beyond in helping us out, and we are very appreciative for that. The bedroom was comfy and clean and the bath robe was a lovely addition. The bathroom was also immaculate and breakfast was really easy and what we needed. Thank you again!

This is the second time we've stayed at Christina's. It's a lovely peaceful spot and the bed's really big and comfy! The excellent Blisland Inn in the village is an added draw.

It's difficult to 'say a few words' in the space allotted because from the welcome to the assistance with our departure, everything was perfection. I have owned a historic inn, am a participant in the Air B&B in the US and a world traveler and can say with confidence that our stay at The Cider Barn was the best Air B&B experience we've ever had. Louise is the consummate hostess and excels at gracious hospitality. She is a concierge who is not only knowledgeable but makes the experience happen. She generously provided transportation to and from a wedding reception for us as we found the small lane driving at night quite intimidating as Americans. Even finding the 'hidden gem' was a challenge for us but well worth it and we boosted our learning curve as time went on, all too quickly. The property is exquisite; it easily qualifies for submission in Architectural Digest. We are deeply grateful to Louise, our hostess, and any guest is fortunate to stay here.

We had a lovely stay in Frogmore. Sarah was very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. She met us at the car and showed us to the accommodation which was just perfect for us. Over the few days we were there Sarah checked that we were warm enough and if we needed any breakfast top ups. Breakfast was very nice and the little table where we ate it had a smal vase of fresh flowers and greenery. A nice touch. Bathroom was nice too with plenty of towels. Would we stay again? Yes, if we come to the area again, we most certainly would.

Jo is a lovely person very accommodating and always has a smile on her face.I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Paignton.Keep up the good work Jo.

We really enjoyed our stay in Dartmouth. The location is within a few minutes walk to the centre of town (on the flat as well) and parking is available on the street. The room was comfortable and nice and clean. Alison is an excellent host making sure we had everything we needed and served up delicious breakfasts in the morning. Thanks - Alan and Julia

What a beautiful place! The village is unbelievably picturesque and Sall’s beautiful Robins accommodation was comfortable, homey and welcoming. I loved the little touches, like bread and jam to make midnight toast (I enjoyed that) and a fridge stocked with juices, butter, milk… all the basics if you forget to buy supplies like I did. Sall’s directions were easy to follow, and she was most helpful about advice for spotting Dartmoor ponies. I took the suggestions she offered and had a wonderful trip. Thank you Sall!

Sammy was extremely proactive in her communication and giving very easy to follow instruction on how to find her place. The check in was probably one of the easiest check in’s that I’ve ever had. The room was clean tidy and a haven for a couple of very tired divers. All in all, it was a highly pleasurable stay and we will most definitely return.

I honestly have one word to describe Rita and that is perfect. It was an amazing weekend away from work and responsibilities and Rita made us feel right at home. Not only was she always willing to help and carried a smile on her face but she helped us with recommendations on where to go for dinner and what to do during the day. Her hospitality could not have been better and we could not have had a better time there. We cannot wait to go back soon and do more things. It was the loveliest weekend thank you so much

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Ian und Lorraine geliebt - die beiden sind so herzlich und wirklich Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft, die mehr geben als die meisten, die wir sonst getroffen haben. Wir haben uns so willkommen gefühlt und die kurze Zeit bei und mit beiden sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön ruhig und grün, hier hätten wir gerne noch Zeit verbracht. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Alles war sauber, dazu noch ein tolles Frühstück und super Musik. Eine Stimmung zum Wohlfühlen. Mindestens 5 Sterne! Danke Ian & Lorraine

Beautiful setting, comfortable rooms, fabulous outdoor socialising area, top class, delicious breakfasts and - most importantly - wonderfully welcoming hosts. Holly, Colin and Charlie are naturals who clearly love what they do. Staying with then has been a real tonic.

A tastefully furnished & beautiful house with a lovely garden, which is very private despite being on a road. It's like a secret & peaceful hideaway once inside. Large bedroom with a very comfortable large double bed on the first floor. One's own private sitting room/ breakfast room downstairs. Karen was most welcoming and relaxed and made us feel at home immediately. The breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend staying here.

What a delightful old-fashioned B&B. Lovely, friendly hosts, comfortable room (it's old and quirky but that's clear when you book) and the cooked breakfast was simply delicious - made with care. You even get home-made marmalade and toast with your tea in china cups. The pond and ducks complete the scene. Thanks Rosemarie!

Our stay with Anne & Jonathan was perfect. They both made us feel very welcome and we loved exploring their farm. Anne is also a wonderful passionate cook, we were spoilt with her delicious home made food. Many fruits and veggies were grown on their land. The standard of the accommodation is also very high with a fine attention to detail and wonderful old furniture. The stay suited us perfectly and really look forward to staying again with them.
