Cottage holiday rentals in Plymouth

Cornwall is always lovely, but Marky and Tracey made our visit so special! They had the spa area ready, and beautiful for us every night, which during a very cold February was a really amazing treat. Cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you both so much, we look forward to returning.

Just Perfect. Was met by Helen who gave us instructions how to use everything and where everything was and advice on places to visit and things to do. The accommodation was just Beautiful and everything that you need was provided with the added bonus of a warm home made loaf of bread, scones with jam, butter and clotted cream and cup cakes with welcome note and wi fi details which was perfect start to holiday. The cottage had everything you could need or want. It was spotless and beautiful and warm as it was freezing outside when we were there. Beautiful log burner added to the ambience. Hot Tub was amazing and soooooo warm. I can imagine if you visited the cottage in the summer the beautiful deck would be perfect with furniture and BBQ but obviously in December we didn't use it. Nothing more to say really except "Perfect" and we had a Perfect 5 day stay so would highly recommend it. Sheila and Tony

Our stay at the Flower Barn was perfect. The cottage is immaculate, so well presented, cosy but spacious and felt like home immediately. The fresh local milk, eggs and butter and welcome basket were a wonderful touch. The hot tub and log burner were highlights for us, absolutely fantastic! Peter was very responsive to messages and there if we needed anything, but was not intrusive in any way. The location is very rural and the nearest pub is a 30 minute walk away in Halwill Junction, great for a leisurely stroll (although be warned it's uphill most of the way there!). We had an amazing break, in a tranquil setting, which is exactly what we needed! Thank you again Peter & Zoe!

Really lovely cottage with traditional and modern elements. Everything was superb, and it was a fantastic way to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. We all loved the hot tub, but the kids especially did. It was warm in the cottage with TVs, games and wifi. Had a smashing walk into the local village of Bridford, with stunnning views, animals in the fields, an interesting church and the friendly Bridford Inn. All the rooms were great. Nice bottle of bubbly wine in the fridge too. The host, Miranda was faultless and we would like to return oneday. Finally, the view from the patio of the rolling Devon hills was amazing. A very memorable and enjoyable weeked. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at the Cart Barn. Private location surrounded by nature. Check in was great, we were shown around the property and given lots of useful information. Secure garden for the dogs to run around. Lots of nice walks in the area. Definitely going to book again in the summer. The barn had everything we wanted, even had fresh local milk and butter in the fridge.

We had the pleasure of staying at Julian’s place for a short weekend with my partner and our dog, and it was truly a fantastic experience. We were looking for a unique and spacious home, and this property did not disappoint! The house is huge, with high ceilings and an incredibly comfortable atmosphere. The design is well thought out and perfectly complements its surroundings. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the home was easy to navigate. It made for the perfect getaway for the two of us. The village is just a short 5-minute walk downhill and around 8 minutes back up, making it very accessible. The private parking was also a huge plus. As someone who manages multiple Airbnbs in London and has a refined taste and high standards, I can confidently say that Julian’s home ticks all the boxes. We highly recommend it to all future guests!

Beautiful cottage with amazing views with complete privacy which is a huge selling point. Loved staying here and would definitely return.

We have had the absolute best stay! The pictures do not do this place justice, very spacious and very homely. You can see and feel the love that was put into the barn. The hosts were fabulous on both check in and check out. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Alan and Davina!

What an amazing place, hidden away but still so close to so many amazing things! We had a blast at Amy’s place, our toddler in particular loved the cottage and the games room - plus the outdoor space was fab. We were even invited along to say hello to the neighbouring cows, which he loved. The cottage had everything we needed, was very clean and cared for. Thank you so much for making it such a memorable stay - would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

We loved our stay at the cottage. It’s on a really quiet road, but was only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Dawlish and the seafront. The property itself was lovely, very clean and furnished to a good standard. Would definitely recommend!!

The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

Upon arrival, we were greeted and given a tour. We felt very welcomed, and the cottage was lovely and cosy. The surroundings are idyllic and beautiful, with lots to do and see. We loved making use of the facilities, especially the games room and hot tub/swim spa. Kamila was very kind to share a personal experience with the cheeky goats and alpacas. Thank you for everything; we had a wonderful holiday.

A really lovely stay! We was lucky the first night as it was dry so we got to make use of the hot tub! And in the daytime but the second night the weather was awful but the cottage felt really cosy and peaceful. Would stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at Paradise Farm Cottage in Boscastle, hosted by Sarah. The cottage was cozy, well-maintained, and impeccably clean, with a small but well-equipped kitchen that had everything I needed. The property also offers convenient car parking and even a charming little treehouse. Sarah and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The presence of their friendly pets geese, ducks, cats, and a dog added a lovely, homely touch. One of the highlights was the thoughtful guest file she provided, which included a local map, attractions, pubs, and amenities, it was incredibly helpful for exploring the area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended.

Trevor & Sarah made us feel very welcome, and we're fantastic hosts. beautiful location, surroundings and accommodation. watching the birds on the garden feeders just outside in the garden with a nice glass of wine was so relaxing. completely recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Eleanor’s cottage. The location is great, really close to the centre of Totness with quick access to great beaches and stunning countryside. Eleanor has some great recommendations in her welcome folder, particular faves were the independent cinema, Indian restaurant and Man beach. The house is well decorated and furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. We hope to visit again

we've stayed before so knew what to expect! We weren't disappointed! Julie was on holiday herself but the lovely Sue was there to greet us. Everything was spotless, beds and bedlinen divine !! Julie and Andrew are excellent hosts, very helpful and accommodating and ready for a friendly chat !! Perfect balance. Totally recommend Stoop Cellars. The village has a very well stocked and friendly store and is great for walking.

A cosy cottage, with delightful wonkiness. We made use of the log burner, as it was still chilly in February. A quiet location which was an easy walk into town (with a real kicker of a hill at the end though – I’m glad it wasn’t icy!). David’s Fish & Chips were great as recommended, and Albero’s in town did delicious Italian style seafood. I’d happily stay again.

Very shortly after arriving I received a very warm welcome from Ian and Clare. I could park directly next to the cottage, which had a lovely secure & compact garden, so I knew the dogs were safe & sound. The well-maintained and good-sized paddock is brilliant for the dogs to have a quick runaround & chase the toys that can be borrowed from inside the well-equipped laundry room. Wren Cottage was pristine, with everything needed for a warm & comfortable stay. There are two very comfortable armchairs. There was always hot water and plenty of storage space in the kitchen. The dog biscuits & human treats were an unexpected and very welcome touch. The maps and local information package was very useful. The cottage is only a 10-15-min walk from the beautiful St Nectan's Glen, and a little further down the road, you can pick up the coast path & walk through Rocky Valley and into Tintagel. There is a shorter route to Tintagel if preferred. Boscastle & other places v accessible by car & bus.

fantastic host and great place to stay with a group, the host and co host are always on hand to help. I would recommend for anyone and definitely stay again.

We had the most amazing time at the cottages. We came as a big family of 16 to celebrate both a 21st and 75th Birthday. This was the perfect place to all be together during Storm Daragh. The owners even provided us with lanterns/ lights just in case we were hit by a power cut. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The pictures do not do the place any justice. The place is more modern than it seems in the pictures. There are plenty of surprises like a Smart TV, Board Games. The main house was big enough to seat us all together. We only used the other 2 cottage to sleep but they were also just as nice. The pool was lovely especially as we had it to ourselves and made the most of it. The games room entertained both the children and adults. We managed to cook plenty of meals to feed us all and the kitchen was well equipped to do this. We loved the little touchs like milk and apple juice on arrival. During the weekend we did not leave the cottages and did not feel like we needed to

We returned to Plumtree Cottage for a second stay to enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful views. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped.
