Had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and everything was immaculate. Bed & pillow's so comfie 😴 Couldnt get a better location to stay. We loved Chester and will be back. Recommend eating at Porta & The Boathouse Honestly can not think of anything negative to say

Booked this beautiful property last minute for our Christmas break and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The location is absolutely perfect, literally steps from the beach with stunning sea views that take your breath away. Tom and Stacey were fantastic hosts, responding quickly to all our queries and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The house itself is spacious, well-equipped, and ideal for families, with everything you could need for a home-away-from-home experience. The only minor issue was the slow Wi-Fi connection, which might be worth noting if you need reliable internet access. Despite this small drawback, we would highly recommend this property, particularly for families looking for a coastal getaway. The combination of great location, beautiful accommodation, and attentive hosts made for a wonderful Christmas break.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lodge. The house was beautiful and had everything you could need for a perfect stay, the extra touches were very thoughtful & much appreciated. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub; and we appreciated the tranquility of the garden and scenic views that added that extra touch of relaxation. Michelle was the an amazing host. Her communication was fantastic throughout the booking process and during our stay, she was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything went smooth for us. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time here. The space was clean, spotless, bright and cosy. It would suit families as well as a gathering with friends. The kitchen had an island and plenty of seating, perfect for hanging out whilst cooking. The dining area had a large enough table for 12 and was more than adequate for meals. Bedrooms were clean and each had a theme which we liked. Hot tub was perfect, sauna too, it added a bit of magic to the evenings and was very clean with a beautiful garden surrounding it. The piano was a nice extra that we enjoyed playing throughout our stay. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Lovely cottage, cosy, warm and clean. Quite a narrow, uneven track to drive up to the cottage to be aware of but we managed fine in our small car. And more than worth it for the amazing views across the Long Mynd. Great location for walking and visiting Church Stretton.

Great place to escape and unwind from busy lives! Huw (host) was very accommodating and a lovely host! Def recommend!

We stayed in the bothy and it was the most amazing weekend. Hosts ensured they were available but didn’t not interrupt our weekend. It was quaint and relaxing. Hot tub was out of this world. It is away from everyone and so private and peaceful. The local pubs have the best cuisine, we were shocked at the quality of the food for a local pub. We needed to rest and get away and that’s what this amazing place gives you We will be back x Cannot thank you enough for this amazing space

Beautiful cottage. Clean, spacious and cosy. Slept very well. Incredibly peaceful garden area. Would love to return in Summer when weather is warmer to explore the local woodland area more behind the cottage.

The perfect, relaxing retreat! We had a lovely few days at The Ginger Nut. It was really easy to find following the instructions provided. The hut was clean and has everything you need for a few days away. Thank you!
