Holiday rentals in Pontiac Station

This cottage was amazing. Exactly what we were looking for during this annual fall family trip. Clean and had everything we needed plus more, would definitely come back again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was even nicer in person compared to the photos. Great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable with softer & firmer pillows. The wood stove by the big TV and cushy couch was great. The hot tub was amazing. Lake side view off the deck was very nice. Strongly recommend. We’d love to come back.

It is a beautiful place!

The host responds very promptly. However, disposing of trash is a bit inconvenient as it takes about 15 minutes round trip, and you need to pay $3 per trash bag. It’s recommended to dispose of the trash before checking out, not after. If you have a friend waiting in the parking lot while you take out the trash, they might rush you. Communication with the host was smooth and responses were quick. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the winter as the heating isn’t great. It would be nice if each bed came with a comfortable duvet rather than just blankets. When the outdoor temperature is 7°C, the bedrooms can feel cold, but everything else was good.

The house was lovely. Spotless. Quiet neighborhood and easy to get to main roads.

We came to ski for 3 days at Calabogie during March break. The location and view were ideal--a minute to the ski hill (that you can see through the trees out the main window) and parking was free and easy at the hill. This allowed us to come back to have lunch at the chalet and then return to the slopes in the afternoon. The chalet has several high end features--heated floors in kitchen and bathroom, and an induction stove and fancy microwave. it was nicer than we expected. We struggled a bit to figure out how everything worked (probably us, though--we have low tech stuff at home). The designer fridge and countertops and overall aesthetics of the kitchen are beautiful. The chairs were maybe a bit big and awkward to move around for the tight space they were in--was hard to get around them. That was a minor inconvenience, though--overall the space was a delight to be in.

Our stay at the chalet was amazing! The space was not only stunning but also super well-organized and clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The host was extremely helpful and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We’d love to come back!

Wow what a great location, so private and truly a gem of a retreat. The building is magnificent, natural wood accents everywhere. You can tell the quality that was put into this home. Will certainly consider seeing the natural setting this Summer. Hosts were super accommodating and very responsive. If there was one thing to know, if you bring young kids or grandkids, consider bringing some of your regular plates/bowls etc… the quality of the dinnerware that is supplied is top quality, sturdy and painted with beautiful patterns - top notch for sure, so you wouldn’t want to the little ones to break any of it!
