Wonderful thatched cottage in the New Forest

Our recently refurbished family cottage, located in a small village in the midst of the New Forest. Walking distance to a fantastic country pub and direct access to the forest for walking & cycling. Just a few minutes from the famous Furzey Gardens-ten acres of woodland filled with rare and beautiful plants. The house has three spacious bedrooms and sleeps up to six guests. There is a large mature garden & a relaxing conservatory. You'll often see deer grazing in the garden in the early morning.

House For 2 with Superb Sea Views

My place has amazing sea views and you can easily walk the South West Coast paths from the front door. You're very near sandy beaches too. You’ll love my place with panoramic sea views overlooking the sea and National Trust countryside in an AONB. You'll be the sole occupants of this lovely Purbeck stone property with use of the en suite principal bedroom with stunning sea views, well-equipped kitchen/diner and a hugely comfortable sitting room overlooking the sea in wonderful Worth Matravers.

Property is seaside/beach theme, refurbishing and updating when no guests are booked, new king size bed, new sitting room and bedroom carpets. Stair basket for shoes at entrance. (semi detached so please respect neighbours) Warm welcome to families with children, get away for couples or retreat for someone on business, travel or work. Breakfast not provided but there are local shops and supermarkets close by and kitchen provided. Parking and own entrance. Please read house manual.

New Forest cottage. Very close to Paulton’s Park.

Our delightful cottage provides the best of old world charm and modern convenience. It is a pretty 17th Century thatched cottage in a small village, furnished to a high standard with a lovely mature garden. We have a well equipped kitchen and cater for young children with 2 high chairs, travel cots & toys. Located in the New Forest National Park and not far to the coast, Paultons Park & other attractions. My place is good for couples, families with children and small groups.

The property is situated in the pretty village of Freshwater, on the west of the island. A short 5 minute car journey from the Yarmouth ferry port and 1km from the stunning Colwell Bay. The property has the benefit of a small driveway, and street parking is also available. We also benefit from a lovey private back garden.

A warm welcome to our riverside cottage, a two bedroom quiet retreat located in the New Forest national park with lovely walks and cycle paths to see the ponies and other wildlife. It’s only a 20 min drive to the medieval city of Salisbury and 30-40 min drive to the sandy beaches of the South Coast. We have a friendly local village shop and pub within walking distance, and a fabulous ‘water-hole’ for swimming a few mins walk down the lane.
