Holiday rentals in Port Jervis

Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. It was a great, peaceful place to stay. The jacuzzi was bigger than I expected, which made it very comfortable. We had everything we needed at the house, and our nights were so relaxing and quiet.

We had a great stay over President's Day weekend and I highly recommend staying here. It had all of the things we were looking for - hot tub, fireplace (wood stove which was even nicer for all the heat it gave off), sauna (amazing), and a fully stocked kitchen. The place is nicely redone with 4 cozy bedrooms (especially the two upstairs). We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here with 6 friends, the place was very homey. I loved the cute little accents to the house that provided a vibe like no other! The bedrooms were so comfortable. Going to local stores was not much of a hassle. The home has pots and pans, and cooking utensils if it is ever needed. There is a cute lake 4 minutes of a walk to sit down on the ledge and dip your feet in for a nice relaxation. We were not able to use the lake for swimming purposes due to the weather, but it is a great place if you want a weekend getaway or that of some sort with a group of close friends and family. Samantha was more than great at accommodating, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service to us! We appreciate her attentiveness and all around care during our stay. Lovely home. Deer came right up to the window. We had a much needed peaceful getaway. Our host was kind, quickly responsive, and flexible. We loved the hot tub and are looking forward to returning

We had a lovely stay at this house. We used it as a jumping off point for skiing at Jack Frost (about 15 mins away) and Kalahari (20 mins). The house was clean, well equipped and perfect size for our family of 5. My kids loved the foosball and air hockey, and everyone loved the hot tub! Ariel was very responsive before, during and after our trip.

Melinda was an exceptional host very responsive and attentive. Her place exceeded our expectations, it was even better than described! Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. My group and I had a fantastic time and truly appreciated the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
