Please ask us about your special arrangement as we are not set up and don't want you to be disappointed... For the gym, we live 2 blocks from the YMCA so you and your family can always sign up to be guests during your stay if you like. - You prepare your own meals :D in a stunning new kitchen and top appliances and if you can, please put all dishes in dishwasher - Bosch will do the dishes ! :) - You are welcome to bring your own foods and put them in trash bags as appropriate - we have a recycled & trash can separately - The linens, bedding, towels are placed in closets’ drawers - Assorted brand of wellness & grooming amenities are in the drawers of your bathroom - Laundry space houses an iron/ ironing board/ swifter (swifter cloths are underneath the sink left hand side or in linen closet) - Kitchen also has a swifter behind the tall cabinet - Please give your plants a drink of water if you stay longer than 3 days – they thrive on it :D -We make certain non-toxic cleaning products with premium essential oils for our cleaning team to use and for our guests to enjoy (when we can) Thank you so much in your mindful participation to maintaining while enjoying our space :) we appreciate your efforts! The entire home will be exclusively yours except the GARAGE please. This is for the hosts to use. We reside next door. Happy to share restaurant recommendations, etc.! Guests receive 5 star ratings when respectful of the home! The home is in San Pedro (SP), which is a small, quiet port town. The waterfront is famous for historic Battleship Iowa, San Pedro Fish Market, and maritime museums. Cruises, restaurants, and shops abound there. San Pedro is also accessible to the southern beach cities. Welcome to legendary traffic famous in LA : D San Pedro is on both a local and a city-wide bus line, but public transportation can be difficult and time-consuming. Uber and Lyft are widely available, but if you want to make the most of your time here, a rental car is ideal. IMPORTANT FOR GUESTS TO AGREE PRIOR TO BOOKING & CHECK IN, as we reserve the right to refuse service: Please do not ask us for a discount on cleaning as we are about paying a fair wage (please see ABB's guidelines on this) for you and your guest. *PLEASE CONFIRM with VALID PHOTO ID PRIOR and UPON CHECK IN (via Driver's License/ Passports / Military ID are ok etc - just as in a hotel stay) otherwise, your Full SECURITY DEPOSIT is NOT REFUNDABLE and your stay maybe denied. Idyllic, Romantic Beachfront Apartment in Malibu

Fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves in this charming beachfront apartment. The light, airy home features open-plan living and a wall of windows to maximize the amazing views. Enjoy drinks on the deck and a sunset over the water—it's pure bliss. This beachfront apartment is right above the sand and surf. At night the sounds of the sea will lull you to sleep. During the day, you can watch the sea lions sunning on the rocks and dolphins and whales swimming by or go for a walk along the water's edge and dive in yourself. This is an amazing place to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset and relax! In the evening, the lights of the "Queen's Necklace" glimmer in the distance and the moonlight shines on the water. The living room is cozy with two loveseats to snuggle in and watch a movie on the 50" flat screen TV. Three large sliding glass doors open up if you want to let the ocean breezes blow through. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with an apartment size stove and oven, a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker and a French press, tea kettle, toaster and all the dishes and pots and pans you need. A round table with linens provides a beautiful spot for morning coffee. The bedroom has a queen bed with a new organic mattress and designer sheets, pillows and duvet. There is a large closet with room to store your clothes. Books line the bookshelves if you'd like something to read. Mostly, this is just a quiet, beautiful space to put your feet up and really relax while watching the endless panorama of the natural world outside. And....if you want to feel like a movie star, the apartment was recently used as a glamorous setting in an independent film due out soon!!! Two-person kayak (life jackets available) Boogie Boards and a surfboard Television with premium channels (HBO, Showtime, etc.) Wi-Fi Shared entry gate with one other unit. My husband and I live in a small cottage above the apartment but the only shared space is the entry door. We rarely even see our guests. However, I am always available to answer questions or concerns but almost no one has them! Situated directly above the sand and surf, the home is in a residential area along the Malibu coast, away from the tourist areas. Take in the stars at night while strolling along the beach, or eat at one of the nearby restaurants right on the water. There is bus service available just a minute from the apartment that will take you into Santa Monica or the center of Malibu, or farther north to some of Malibu's more remote beaches. Uber is readily available. At high tide, the ocean may come right up to the seawall limiting beach availability. This all depends on the moon, the tides and the amount of sand that we have. This can really vary from day to day and depending on the season. This winter, rough seas washed away our private stairs to the beach, so guests need to use the public access stairs just a few houses away and a very short walk.

This Spanish-style guest house is located behind the front house fuses traditional elements of terracotta tiles and colorful artwork with a chic white interior and darker wood fixtures. Unwind on the sunny back patio with a cup of coffee or refreshing beverage. Front patio pictured helps our guests find the guest house, which is behind the front house. Just steps away from the beach and bustling shops, cafes and eateries on 2nd Street. The unit is beautifully decorated and appointed. Dishes, glassware and flatware included. Located behind a house with side entrance. Very private. Steps to beach, bay, bike and pedestrian path, 2nd Street and Naples. Will add additional photos shortly. Backyard and propane grill. Foot shower, outdoor sink, seating area, etc. We spend time in CA and stay in the house located on the front of the property. We are available to assist you as needed. Love the access to restaurants, shops, grocery store, beach and bay. Amazing walking area! Fabulous free events year round - music, art, children's events, food and beverage festivals, etc. You do not need a car. Long Beach transit system is excellent. Buses can be accessed on 2nd street (half a block away) and water taxi is available from the Granada Boat Launch (on Ocean Avenue). Favorite Restaurants: Casual: Simzy's, Tavern on 2, Michaels Pizzeria (Naples), Taco Surf, Super Mex, Angelo's Deli, Chucks on Ocean (for Breakfast), Baja Fish Tacos (opening in September). Nicer/More Upscale: Michaels (Naples), Nick's on 2nd, Sushi on Fire, Boubouffe (reasonable for caliber of food), Creperie, Open Sesame, etc. Coffee: Peets, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Starbucks, Roma di Aroma, Starbucks, etc. Other area restaurants: Starling Diner (B/L) on 3rd and Belmont, At Last Cafe (2nd/Orange), Lola's (on 4th), Potholder (on Broadway), Christy's (on Broadway), Cafe Piccolo (on Broadway) Belmont Shore is a vibrant and friendly neighborhood where walking is the preferred method of transportation. Try many of the wonderful nearby restaurants in Belmont Shore, Naples and Belmont Heights, spend the day immersing yourselves in fun water activities by the beach, and partake in one or more of the many cultural and music events that occur year round.
