Holiday rentals with lake access in Portalegre District

Very good stay, quiet house, clean, pleasant bedding, well-equipped kitchen, the house retains freshness. The view of the lake is crazy and swimming is a real joy. Very good communication with Silvia. who offered to check us out later than planned. The only downside is that a single bathroom containing the toilet can sometimes be a little bit just for six. We would recommend this house without hesitation!

We were very welcome and with great sympathy, the hosts, provided some welcome pampering to our arrival. The house had everything that was necessary and essential to have a comfortable stay, as well as being clean and well organized to accommodate us. Boasting stunning views set in a calm and friendly condominium, I can't help but highlight the pool, which is also fantastic to spend a few hours. The location and access to the river beaches is also a strong point of this location. In general, it was a very pleasant experience and Nadia always very helpful in pleasing and making sure everything was going well. It's well worth it, it's the ideal place to relax, stroll and get out of the routine. We liked it a lot!

We love the stay. It is possible to have peace and fun at the same time through contact with nature, either through the beautiful landscape or even by the dam. André is extremely attentive and Montezinho has everything a guest needs to enjoy their stay. All the items in the villa are of extreme good taste, which allowed us to feel at home.

Our group of 13 had an incredible time at this lakeside house! The accommodations were super comfortable, providing ample space for all of us. The highlight was definitely the fantastic outdoor area, perfect for group gatherings and relaxation. Nuno, the host, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We took advantage of the boat rental for water sports like skiing, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing, and it was an absolute blast. Nuno's expertise and equipment made it all possible, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a lakeside retreat with a fantastic host and plenty of fun activities, this is the place to be. Our group had a fantastic time, and we can't wait to come back for more adventures by the lake!

Wonderful secluded place. Special to sit in an old village (well worth 1 street). It feels like getting away from time. The cottage is pleasant and well cooled and nice beds. The shared pool just down the road is beautiful. With a fantastic view of the rolling green hills. Definitely a nice place to relax for a while.

Our stay at Villa Albertina was just amazing and so peaceful. The house is at a small town with a convenient coffee shop (the only constant source of food and drinks ) just by the house. It is 5 to 10 to 15 minutes away from the different beaches along side de Zêzere river. The drive to these beaches is really enjoyable with trees alongside the road, and to be honest, to us, the town was an amazing starting point to drive around and explore different areas. The house has a garden with a terrace and dinner table to eat outside, a big kitchen with everything you could need, the shower was just great, there is not even one negative point. The sky is amazing at nights and everything is so quiet. For buying food there is 2 options, or you drive till the closest town with a market (Vila do Rei is 15 mins away max), our you can wait in the mornings for the different trucks that bring bread, veggies and meat to town for you to buy directly from them, you just gotta relax at the garden until you listen the trucks honk announcing their arrival. Only advice is, as it is obvious from my review, do not stay here if you don't come with a car, unless you want to stay at home and relax everyday. Communication was great and everyone show a genuine interest for us to be comfortable, have everything we needed, and for the house to be in perfect shape upon our arrival. Couldn't be happier, we a sure we will return some day.

We loved the stay. We chose Pedro's house to spend a few days at the end of the year, and it was a great decision, the house and the surroundings are excellent. Very good for resting and hiking. Pedro, was a great host, was always very available, always providing useful information, and was very attentive to us. Experience to repeat, of course.

An excellent house, in a wild place but full of charms! A stream close to the house where dogs can get wet, a dam on the homestead, wonderful bread, helpful and friendly people who made it easy…. A place to come back to!! We traveled with two large dogs that were accepted without hesitation, we were pampered and spent some memorable days. About the house… beautiful! Rustic, well framed, comfortable, clean, well equipped. A true pearl to discover. Thank you Patricia and other colleagues…. Well done!

It's right what the reviews say, they don't do it justice! I felt like I was in British Colombia in Canada, it was really beautiful. I can only imagine in the peak season and much warmer it would have been even better. In mid-November we were still able to use the pool and the water was even warmer in the lake. The 3 of us took the canoe out, life jackets provided and a paddle each, and head off around the lake and explored the islands and shores. The apartment is old but comfortable and everything you need for a great holiday. The balcony views and sunsets are so beautiful. We did a big shop from LIDL and just picked up bread and other bits from the local town. Nice cafes and places for a coffee. We were so calm and happy there though we could have stayed forever!!! Jealous of the owners. Kids would love it, especially ones a little older that can play alone, they would love to venture down to the lake and jump in! We are already planning a return for the summer time next year.

We arrived a little early and it was no problem. The place was very quiet, cute and comfortable. The Canduxa Lodge is a perfect place to relax, see a beautiful sunset or enjoy a relaxed breakfast on the balcony with a great view.

In a privileged location, the space is well taken care of and prepared to welcome guests. The house is super comfortable and clean, the conditioned air allows extra comfort and the rooms are spacious and very well enjoyed. The best places I've ever been!
