Beachfront holiday rentals in Porthcawl

What a lovely cottage! Perfect quiet location literally a stones throw from the seafront and shops. So many places to eat and drink within walking distance, places to buy food for self catering and nice shops for browsing. We didn’t use the car while we were there- parking was a real bonus and we had no issues accessing it. The cottage is well decorated and furnished throughout- so many lovely touches- and was bigger than expected. Everything you need in the kitchen including 2 fridges, lots of storage throughout and has lovely outside space. Jo was a perfect host. Highly recommend!

Delightful AirBnB; stunning location and views over the sea and the setting sun from the deck with a glass of Guinness Zero just what the Doctor ordered ! Everything was clean, tidy, functioning and comprehensively equipped. Check in straightforward and private parking outside. David and Angela's communication before and after was excellent. It was a quiet week and break for the two of us and our Labrador to simply relax. We went "off season" which suited us well. The morning and evening walks along the beachfront good for the soul. We have no hesitation in recommending this AirBnB and David and Angela. It is ideally located to explore North Devon if you want to go more wider than Woolacombe. Conversely, just enjoy the views from the deck and relax. An evening meal in the Chichester Arms in Mortehoe just up the road - coupled with a log fire - and then back to the AirBnB lounge on the sofa with a decent movie. We would happily book this again - in fact - we are tempted to buy there !

We were a group of 4 and were playing golf locally. The house was well placed for all of the courses we played and was in easy reach of the beach for a peaceful walk.

Absolutely beautiful apartment. Can walk to mumbles easily and the coastal path is right on the doorstep. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful tower cabin, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! **Accommodation:** The cabin was stunning, with breathtaking views and a cozy atmosphere. The design was elegant yet comfortable, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. **Hot Tub:** One of the highlights of my stay was the hot tub. It was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The surrounding scenery made it even more enjoyable, and I loved soaking while enjoying the fresh air. **Host:** Our host was simply amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and activities.

Lime Tree Cottage is 94 steps from the Pub bar where we ate on three occasions and couldn't fault either the food or the service. It is now a fully dog friendly pub. The beach was about 150 steps! Ideal cottage for people who want to be out exploring or enjoying the beach. An added bonus was the lovely log burner which although the cottage was toasty-warm with the central heating...it just finished off the day perfectly! We had two small dogs so therefore the small patio yard was not ideal for them to run around in.....but when you had the beach so close and a field opposite which was dog friendly, it didn't really matter that much. The bed is a 'double' but we chose to push the two 'put you up' singles together which made for a fairly comfortable night's sleep. The kitchen is fully stocked for someone who enjoys cooking and the slow cooker was ideal. Altogether a most enjoyable few days away.

A wonderful family home containing everything you need. It is comfortably and well furnished. The children's room was very welcome and well used by our children. The house is very well placed and the parking area was extremely useful. It is a great base for exploring Swansea and the surrounding area with pretty beaches very close by. The Mumbles is well served with shops and restaurants and only a few minutes walk from the house. We had 6 fabulous nights and would definitely return again. Kathryn is a very responsive and welcoming host. Thank you for having us.

We had a fantastic stay here in Ilfracombe. There's not a better location to sit and watch the boats from the living room window, including the RNLI practice on Thursdays! kids loved it. clean cottage. really comfortable beds. Helens super responsive with loads of local recommendations. 10/10!

We had a lovely stay at the Wales Retreat. A beautifully looked after lodge with the most spectacular views out the back. We were lucky to have a full week of sunshine in Easter, and a week of stunning sunsets on the terrace out the back of the lodge overlooking the sea. Emily was responsive when we needed help, but there was little to ask for as the place was so well kitted out! We will definitely consider coming back in the future.

Absolutely beautiful caravan in a private road setting at Doniford Bay. We enjoyed using the facilities but also very much appreciated the peace and tranquility of the caravan location. Everything was exactly as advertised and spotlessly clean everywhere. We definitely hope to return.

Spotless caravan in a quiet part of the camp site with beautiful views.Owners/ neighbours were so friendly .The stunning walks with the dog were so interesting to walk. Lots to see and do locally with many bars and restaurants. The Royal Mint only 30 minutes away is worth a visit with an excellent lunch there too. The caravan is well equipped and has a lovely feeling. Great with the balcony and outside comfy chairs supplied.Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Susan’s place. It was cosy and clean, and the view was lovely. Susan is a very helpful host with great communication.

The Granary is spacious and beautifully appointed inside. It had everything we needed and the views over the duck pond were stunning. There are plenty of places around the site to walk dogs and the beach is in walking distance which is a real feature of the property. The site itself is very pretty and well maintained. The facilities are excellent from the swimming pool, which is next to the property, thee onsite shop and bar and the recycling facilities. We would definitely stay at Home Farm and the Granary again.

We had a wonderful stay in Woolacombe at Kathryn's apartment. The apartment was beautifully furnished, very comfy and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed using the pool and sauna. The location was perfect, very close to Woolacombe beach for dog walks and lots of cafes and restaurants. There are also lots of other lovely places to visit within a short drive away. Kathryn was very responsive and helpful and we appreciated all the local tips. Thank you, and we hope to return again!

The Beachcomber is stunning - amazing views, great location and has all the facilities you need! Fantastic hosts - super responsive, friendly and helpful with check-in and recommendations for the surrounding area - would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a coastal escape!

This place was perfect, welcoming for our dogs, perfect location to the nature reserve and the most stunning beach, as well as easy walkable to the local pub, which serves great food and drinks. We were two friends staying, so it worked wonderfully with twin beds. Lovely little kitchen, had everything you need, lovely to have space to relax in the lounge. Two toilets are always great, and a nice little en-suite. We'll go back for sure, not only for the friendly welcome, but for the location for walks/pubs. Thanks Eleri.

Another fantastic few days at Vera’s beautiful place at Horton. The house is immaculate and has recently been decorated so it looks even better. You cannot beat the location, right on the beach with amazing panoramic views. If you want a quiet break, with great walks and a beach front location this would be hard to beat.

A great apartment in an even better location. Right on the coastal path and Loughor estuary the views are amazing and change completely with the weather and times of day. We spent one night on the balcony watching the stars and some meteors and the next watching a distant storm. Make sure to pack some binoculars. The apartment is clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities and then some. A great kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. The three floors up might be challenging for some, I had a moon boot on during our stay, took a while to get up but the stairs are nicely spaced. it's a great place to go and chill and a great base to visit local attractions or to just wander down to the beach. Would for sure go back again. especially when I can walk more(at all 😂)

First of all I'd like to say that the communication from Leanne was super fast. The chalet offers a home from home with experience with Netflix and Prime on the TV to keep us occupied at night. It's spotlessly clean and contained everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. The site is on a nice part of the Carmarthenshire coastline in a semi rural location with plenty of walks nearby or straight from the chalet. The clubhouse offered daily entertainment (altough we only watched the fun wrestling and went to the kids disco) , an onsite indoor swimming pool which was a decent temperature and had a good slide, the kids loved the arcade and there's a good onside bar with awesome views. I can highly recommend the chalet and we will return in the future.

I absolutely love Janine.s gorgeous home by the sea and that’s why I keep returning. The house is gorgeous and the views fantastic. I love walking in the area and look forward to my next stay.

Second time we’ve stayed - best place in woolacombe easily. Maybe even in north Devon.
