Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Portsmouth

June and Robby were so, so nice. We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The breakfast was outstanding, and June even packed some food for my kid. The house is old but charming. Everything was super clean. June shared some tips regarding which places to go. Couldn't ask for more for this price!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was only for one night but wished we could stay longer. We had everything we needed. Woke to a nice breakfast and loved spending the morning in the sun admiring the views. Highly recommend.

Was a lovely hotel. Walkable distance to the shops and near a road full of restaurants and bars. A lovely bar within the hotel and breakfast was included ! :)

A lovely homely feel about this house. Close to town yet felt like we were out in the countryside. A relaxing surroundings for a few days of catching up with family. Sophie provided good information, easy access and helpful tips for enjoying Cowes.

Just stayed the one night as we were having a family evening on the local Watercress Line steam train but wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful house and gardens and very helpful and responsive owners who went out of their way to help us out. Superb cooked breakfast in the morning.

Alex and Rebecca were such lovely hosts and the room was very comfortable. We came for one night for an Ultra run event and they were so helpful with recommendations for restaurants and even let me have a shower after we had checked out, which made me feel human again! Great hosts and a great stay!

Chris is an amazing host. We have been several times at his cottage and he has become a friend. Chris is so engaging, very attentive and a fab host. His house is a real gem in Sussex.

Janet was friendly, welcoming and interesting to talk to. I met Andrew briefly at breakfast and he was friendly and nice to talk to also. The room and en suite bathroom were comfortable. The continental breakfast was a nice touch and appreciated. Good to have a dedicated workspace and off road parking as well. There is no view over the Goodwood motor racing circuit or racecourse from the room but Janet said there is from somewhere not very far from the house. There is a bit of a view from the window of the downs beyond the housing. The place was clean and attractive and a good place to spend the night. I'd be happy to stay there again.

I was visiting Salisbury for the weekend and fay's place seemed like a quiet area to rest up, one of the most peaceful night's sleep I've had, the host were so friendly and nicewe conversed in the lounge late into the night and even after check in they were very kind and we conversed some more in the lounge before they had to commence cleaning of the rooms and we wished each other the best as I left for Salisbury, highly recommended they have amazing stories and are so nice 😊

The most fabulous stay at Sheila’s beautiful home, made even more special by what a wonderful person Sheila is, and also such an incredible host and the breakfast was top tier. Cannot wait to hopefully return x

Fantastic property, just what we needed for the month. Clean and tidy, property very warm which was a godsend when you have ben outside all day. I would definitely come back again.

We were on a cycling trip. Janet's accommodation is very comfortable. She was ost welcoming and made us a good hearty breakfast. Recommended for overnights and brief stays. Situated in magnificent countryside. And just on a main road for access.

The room was beautiful - the picture doesn’t do it justice. It has big windows with views of fields and horses. The bed was comfortable. We were greeted by Simon, who was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great: healthy granolas, fruits, yoghurts, coffee, tea and orange juice. We recommend it!

Lovely room with access to the garden with table & Chairs outside. Had separate shower room and a small area with a mini fridge and workspace which was excellent for our needs. Delicious cereal with fruit, croissants and yoghurts for breakfast which was perfect and tea & coffee. Angela was extremely friendly and helpful showing us the quickest walking route through to the station. Would definitely stay with Angela again in the future.

We had a delightful stay with Clive and Angie. They are very welcoming guests. The room with en suite was perfect for our needs, and made for an affordable weekend visiting the New Forest and Bournemouth. The room was bright and spotlessly clean, with some thoughtful touches. We also enjoyed cereals, fresh fruit, toast and preserves, fresh juice and a good pot of tea for our breakfast. Home from home! The recommendation to visit Friars Cliff on our way home was perfect. Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We would love to visit again.

A great, peaceful place to stay at, situated by the river with beautiful surroundings and sounds of nature at your window. Kristina is a friendly person and hospitable. Her house is very welcoming.

Lucy’s home is delightful. And the room was fantastic. Roomy, beyond generous amenities such as tea and toaster and more, clean, easy to get to and close to the active town of Petersfield. All in all one of the top Airbnb stays I’ve experienced. I want to return home and make shifts to my Airbnb room based on what I’ve experienced w Lucy.

We loved our stay at Lordington Park for my husband’s birthday weekend. Harriet and the staff were very welcoming and looked after us and our two sausage dogs. The room was beautiful and we loved the gardens, particularly as there were plenty of areas for the dogs to run around and let off some energy. We would highly recommend a visit!

Perfect place for overnight stay on way back to gatwick. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Continental brekky with fresh fruit hit the spot. Claire was prompt with messages and greeted us on arrival. The nearby pub, recommended by Claire, served quality meals. Highly recommend Claires place.

Marysa was a lovely, responsive host who sent lots of detailed instructions. She helped me quickly with any questions I had and she made me feel right at home. The room was lovely and comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful, light and bright and the house just smelt gorgeous. Overall I loved my stay. Thank you so much Marysa :-)

Madeline is so welcoming and kind. Providing exactly what we needed and any information we required. Very grateful that she was able to squeeze our stay in as it was the perfect location. We arrived late and the path to the house was beautifully lit and easy to find. House and room was cozy warm. Two very happy dogs visiting with us and they were very calm and happy in her home as well. Thank you Madeline. Will recommend. 🙂
