We really enjoyed our one week stay at Rosanna and Gaetano's 'ranch-style' house, which is low slung and sits in a generous olive tree grove, with a wrap-around terrace that offers shady seating areas. The house accommodates up to six people, and could accommodate a family of four very generously, though we were only two, so the place space felt huge. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower after a morning at the sandy beach, about 1 mile from the house. The surrounding countryside is arid (July) and evocative. Rosanna and Gaetano were perfect hosts, extremely welcoming and responsive throughout. We speak hardly any Italian and we speak hardly any English but we managed to communicate fine. They twice dropped off fresh pastries, were very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and when our return flight was cancelled they were flexible about letting us stay for a couple more nights. A great place with great hosts!

Giuseppe and his wife were friendly and very kind. Impeccable cleanliness. The accommodation matches the description and photos: the kitchen is super equipped, the veranda is the top, the climate is ideal for August and we were in peace and quiet . Being a country house, the street is a little narrow and dirt. In the evening if you are too tired, the veranda is a real treat and if you are in the morning, the morning after the coffee... a book and wait for the whole family to wake up. Giuseppe has a garden and left me some delicious tomatoes. The place is well connected to the neighboring villages and the beach of Bovo Marina is beautiful... there is free parking just behind the paid one (Giuseppe's tip) there is a beautiful pine forest and free beach and beaches I recommend Hakuna Matata (tt new, they are very kind and super organized). Perfect apartment for a couple. Beautiful views of the beach and a short walk from the Scala dei Turchi. I highly recommend it!

Thomas was a very warm and attentive host. We were greeted with a small welcome gift which made the start of our stay particularly enjoyable. His recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area were outstanding. Thomas was always available at short notice for questions and very helpful. The house itself is modern and extensively equipped, plus the beautiful sea view. The location is ideal to explore the surrounding villages and beaches. The house has a small, very well-kept garden with fresh herbs and vegetables. Overall a fantastic stay, we can imagine coming back in the future.

Hard to put to words. The view was beautiful. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Friendly town. Easy drive to the beach and the Valle dei Templi. We will definitely be back someday. Highly recommend.

We had a great time in Sicily at Ramon's place. The house is beautiful, pleasant to live in, and the garden is refreshing. The house matches the photos and listing. Everything was spotlessly clean in every room. The bedding was very comfortable in the bedrooms, which is a big plus. We were greeted by Imma, who was very kind and responsive to our requests during our stay. Ramon was also in exchange with me on the platform and was responsive. The kitchen may be missing a coffee machine for coffee lovers, otherwise the whole place is very well equipped, there is a large fridge and freezer, a beautiful game room, each room has an air conditioner/heater and the decoration is pretty. I totally recommend this Airbnb for a short or long stay. We would have liked to have stayed longer and hope to come back in the near future:)

Just stay here! Gorgeous, awe inspiring view of the sea, perfect accommodations, lovely host. Definitely private and peaceful. Very clean, comfy bed. It was a good launching spot for Agrigento and much needed rest time after a frenzied few days of travel in Sicily. Novo Marina (small beach spot nearby) was quaint with a super friendly owner. We went there twice for appertivo. We cooked in so did not have their food. We walked down there one morning. (20 min) Well equipped kitchen, we made a simple pasta dish and salad supplemented with fresh produce from Enza’s garden, their own olive oil and homemade wine-all gifts from Enza on arrival!) There was plenty of coffee for our stay and basic cooking spices. Enza herself is so kind and helpful and between gestures and google translate we communicated well. Ask lots of questions about the washer and pellet stove (for heat) if you are not familiar! It took a while for us to figure out both but nothing to keep us from staying here!
