Good and friendly communication with the hosts. A beautiful historical house in the forest in the hills above Pettenasco, overlooking Lake Orta. Very quiet, there is even a river that you can hear from the house. It feels like you are in the middle of nature, but it is actually quite accessible, a 20 min or so walk from the station of Pettenasco. The path up through the forest is steep, so be prepared for that. A great region for hiking, there are trails that you can access directly from the house or from the village of Pettenasco. Also it is possible to reach Orta and Omegna by train a couple of times a day, and once a day by boat. The apartment is as described, it has everything you need and it's clean. I would definitely stay here again.

This is my second time staying with Eleonora and if I come back to the area I will not hesitate to contact her again. Everything is perfect and highly recommended 👍

It was wonderful. Cristine is a great host, friendly, funny and helpful. I felt totally comfortable. Her dog is an angel, totally sweet and cuddly. The place is great, especially great is the roof terrace. Thank you for the great time dear Cristine, I will be back!! Grazie Mille!

We had a wonderful time in Baltera. Marisa and her husband are extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and you have a beautiful view of the countryside from the balcony, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. But you are also quickly in romantic Orta, on a small swimming beach or other activities in the surrounding towns. The access road was no problem with our Opel Corsa and you got used to it after the first drive. We felt very comfortable!

The home was very welcoming, clean, and beautifully rustic. The house is in a quiet location with a lovely view of the lake, and the directions we were given allowed to get there with no problem. Also, we were greeted by fresh eggs, juice, sweets, sparkling wine and other gifts at the place, which is very nice and commendable. Any recommendations for this place if you want a quiet and enjoyable vacation, we felt right at home.

A very welcoming, helpful family, full of good intentions. Very close to Lake Orta and twenty minutes to Lake Maggiore. Several supermarkets nearby by car. Friday market, including two extra small vendors. One of the fresh pasta and the other of the cheeses. They are face to face and speak French.
