I recently stayed at Felicite Apartment in Pondicherry, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The apartment is well-located, offering easy access to popular spots like the beach, cafes, and heritage streets. The interiors were simple yet functional, and the kitchen was equipped with the basics needed for a short stay. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a big plus. Absolutely loved the place at an accessible and incredibly location. The entrance makes you feel like you are entering a secret hideout in the middle of the chaos. The balcony is a blissful people watcher’s paradise! Ayush and Kuharaj are accessible at all times and incredibly friendly! They even manage a pub down the road which has just the right vibe to let your hair down. One of the best airbnb’s I have stayed at so far!

We reached out to Nischal for a same day check in when we were denied check-in at our pre-booked La Ruelle Apartment in Puducherry, we were left stranded on the road with a senior citizen with us, we reached out to Nischal and he was very quick to respond and we ended up booking his property, he quickly arranged our stay and also ensured we get a very quick and seamless check-in. The property itself is amazing with covered parking, Rock beach, Sri Aurbindo Asharam in very close proximity. All type of amazing french cafes are nearby. The flat itself is huge with all modern amenities and tastefully done interiors. The terrace offers terrific views of the sea. All creature comforts are present. He also regularly checked on us to ensure we are comfortable. All in all a truly amazing stay. If I have to nitpick then some basic tea/coffee satchets could be provided along with basic breakfast stuff like bread/butter( we have got this in our previous airbnb stays), also place was a lil dusty.

I only had three days at Madhu's place but it was a pleasant stay. The accommodations were relatively small but for one person or for two people who are close it can be fine. My needs and interests were basically met okay, although the small kitchen with little culinary material limited any food preparation I had in mind. The apartment had direct access to the roof, and that was a major plus for me: a spacious view of the neighborhood and much of the city from above made the delicate steps up the steep ladder well worth it. Host Madhu had the charm and attentiveness to my needs that were deeply appreciated. The actual building was conveniently located in a cul de sac, so it was a safe place to park my vehicle. As a mosquito magnet, I definitely appreciated the screened windows. All in all, I would be pleased to stay there again if I pass that way another time. It was definitely worth what I paid for it. I like the effort put in the place, place is small and well organised. The location is good and the locality is safe, it is very close to auroville. Only thing which I didn’t like is the constant follow up from the manager about when you will check in and then constant reminding about check out. @10:50 manager knocks on the door after calling at 10:45 and maid knock on the door at 10:55. All this was unnecessary.

The homestay is located at 8min drive from White town which costs Rs.100 by auto. We chose to leave our car behind as the heart of Pondicherry gets too crowded over the weekend. Parking was a little tricky on the premises but Mr Kamalan personally took the car keys and helped us out throughout the stay. He is an embodiment of a perfect host and was there for all our needs. The space offered is a living room plus bedroom on the fourth floor of a building that he owns and stays in. It has a lift. The linen and bathroom were clean which is usually the primary requirement I look for in a homestay. And above all it was heart warming to meet a host who is there for a good conversation and will do everything to put you at ease. Thank you again.
