Beautiful and super comfortable house for a family stay, with canal front and very manicured garden in a quiet and very beautiful village. 30 minutes drive to Amsterdam. Bike tours can also be made from De Rijp. Easy communication with the host, always available. Three handmade cats keep you company during your stay :)

We had an amazing two-month stay at this lovely place! The neighborhood is fantastic for families, especially if you enjoy peaceful walks, greenery, and animals. Very close to the house, there are multiple playgrounds, which was perfect for us. Plus, public transportation makes it easy to reach nearby towns (highly recommend to visit: Edam). The hosts were exceptional—always responsive, incredibly thoughtful, and provided us with tons of local insights. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house itself is great! It’s spacious with beautiful natural light, a big garden, and even a sauna for extra relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with this arrangement and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

A wonderful place and wonderful hosts. We would stay here again. Both of us had a private bedroom and bathroom which was lovely.

It is a very nice family house for a family holiday 20 kilometers from Amsterdam and very close to the sights of Marken, Volendam and Monnickendam. The house is warm and fully equipped especially with young children. Rosa welcomed us with kindness and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. I recommend.

We had a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Super easy to commute to and from Amsterdam. It suited us very well. Check-in was super flexible and the hosts were super understanding about our change in plans for checkin. Thank you for a seamless stay.

We had such a lovely stay here in September 2023, that we returned in December 2024 for the festive season. We arrived to find a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and several goodies, including jam, milk, fresh fruit and biscuits, waiting for us. The accommodation was extremely clean, comfortable and very well-equipped. Margo and Gerard (as was the case on our first visit) went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble and their warm hospitality and kindness was greatly appreciated. We cannot recommend this relaxing and peaceful property enough, which is ideally situated for exploring many places of interest. Thank you, Margo and Gerard for being such fantastic hosts. Your warm personality and friendliness shines through. We cannot thank you enough for making our return stay such a wonderful and memorable one. We will be returning again!
