Holiday rentals with beach access in Putnam County

Several of us just came back from a quick overnight trip to Brookfield, and I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in this area of CT. The bottom floor was recently renovated, so the place is really well laid out with plenty of amenities. There is enough to do on property to keep a group of people entertained for a weekend stay if you plan on sticking around the house. The location is incredible, situated in a little nook right on the water with a ton of privacy and a huge backyard. And definitely reach out to Flory in advance as she plenty of recommendations for things to do and where to eat while you're in town. You will have no regrets if you book this place.

Very happy with our stay. Stress free parking right outside the front door, lots to do in the area, and the inside was beautiful. Lots more room than we were expecting. We had worries about a late check-in that were reassured by Miray to be no big deal at all. Super flexible, great stay. Would recommend this spot to anyone!

Our stay in Stony Point was perfect for an overnight visit, especially on a snowy night while attending a party. The apartment had a warm, inviting feel, making us feel right at home. The thoughtful touches, like snacks and bedside water, were much appreciated. A huge thank you for clearing the snow off our car—it was such a kind gesture! We’d love to return in the summer with our daughters to enjoy the pool.

Is a magical place! We really felt as a home, description is so accurate, perfect to take a great rest. It have more than all appliances that you could need, even for your pets! Indications were precise and all guide was so useful. I love nature and outdoors activities, so the place was perfect to me. Ted an his family are so kindly, they answered our doubts quickly and with a great attitude. We loved a lot this space and of course it is highly recommended. We will come back!

My daughter and I stayed at this Airbnb for about a month during a rough time in our lives and it was exactly what we needed to feel safe and happy. It is the ideal “home away from home”, as described, and not only lives up to the pictures, but exceeds the accommodations - and coziness - it provides for a fantastic value for the area. This adorable “apartment-like” feel gives you everything you need, way beyond what a local hotel can provide for a much more affordable rate. The host, Ashley, started out as a stranger and quickly became a friend. She “took care of us” when we needed support and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, at all times. My daughter and I LOVED our stay here and highly recommended it for any of your needs! It is top notch! Thank you, Ashley!

Spacios and quite even a nice backyard for summer weathers. Access to kitchen accessories plus nice a cozy. Overall was a very well and clean place.

Andy's place was impeccably clean and well-appointed. I cook most of my meals while traveling and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics (oils, spices, soy sauce, vinegar) and all the necessary cookware (including containers & wrap to store leftovers & prepped food items). It was the type of Airbnb that felt more like visiting the home of a friend who had thoughtfully considered anything you might need. (including detergent for laundry & toiletries). This was refreshing in light of many Airbnb's feeling more like a Residence Inn, than a home. As a bonus, Andy has excellent taste in books and I wished my stay was longer so I could have read some of what was on the shelves.

Feeling blessed to have the opportunity to stay at this lovely AirBnB home. Amazing. The house is beyond comfortable, has everything you need for a perfect stay, and the patio, deck, dock, and pontoon boat are the showstoppers. Pictures do it justice. The sunsets are exactly as shown. Map of the lake detailing what to stay away from - THANK YOU - that was perfect and helped make being on a new lake super easy. 50hp is PLENTY for touring around. Host is everything you'd hope, expect - super friendly, and great to meet. Readily available by cell. We didn't need to communicate. The house had everything set up, comfortable, the lakeside patio has fridge/freezer/bbq. Perfect setting for our family weekend!!! Thank you so much.

Kelley was very clear that the place is her home - and the special touches made it feel so welcoming and cozy. We spent a weekend there, including one day when 4 of us were working. Everyone had plenty of space and amazing views for remote work. The kitchen is great with new pots and pans. Kelley was generous with her coffee and left us a nice bottle of wine at check in. The master bedroom had curtains only on one side, so if morning light isn’t something you love, pack a sleep mask. All the beds and couches and views were wonderful. We would definitely go back.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Gaby's home. Unlike many Airbnb hosts who design their spaces to feel like generic hotels, Gaby’s place radiated warmth, personality, and charm. It felt like a home that had been truly lived in and loved, with thoughtful, personal touches like family photos, unique art, and an impressive collection of books that added so much character. Gaby herself was an incredible host—always responsive, friendly, and approachable. She’s the kind of person I'd love to sit down and chat with. The setting was absolutely stunning. We had snow, the lake was frozen, and the wintry view was really peaceful. The abundance of wildlife made it even more special—we spotted deer, bald eagles, a couple of foxes who visited every morning, and even a bobcat prancing around the house one evening. We also love to cook, and Gaby’s kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to play chef If you’re looking for an authentic and unforgettable Airbnb experience

Chee-chee's place is awesome. nicely set up with games and space for a few friends. The view of the lake is scenic. I would very much recommend this place.

Amazing home and location right on the lake. Spectacular views from deck and livingroom windows. Comfortable, homey feel with plenty of open space. Everything you need is there. Great coffee station, pantry area. Easy to find things in the kitchen if you like to cook. Comfortable bedrooms and well supplied bathrooms. Location great to access Taconic Parkway. 30-35 minutes to Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Cold Springs. Highly recommend this home. Great hosts and neighbor Alex.

Sunil’s large house sits on extensive grounds with beautiful views across lake Mahopac from most rooms. A well equipped kitchen and updated bathrooms, round out the amenities. Sunil is an exceptionally responsive and cordial host. We have stayed here several times and highly recommend it.
