Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Putnam Valley

We had a great stay… Natalia was responsive and helpful every step of the way, even with a snow storm coming in… The house was clean and fully stocked with anything and everything you could need and beyond…. thank you for a wonder experience!

You feel secluded and private - everything you need to stay in - but also minutes from Woodstock and great restaurants. Beautiful views! Very romantic vibes, especially in the winter. The host was super helpful with communication about the weather. We got lots of snow and ice while there, and they made sure the steep driveway was well plowed and sanded for our departure.

The previous reviews were all positive so I wasn’t surprised by how pleasant this listing was and how Dinesh goes out of his way to accommodate guests. Everything was wonderful. Both nights we enjoyed the large fireplace in the large living room, right off the large kitchen. All the spaces are large here. Plenty of room to spread out with friends or family. We were all impressed.

This was my second stay at this beautiful property over the same weekend and I'm already looking forward to NEXT year's stay. Unbelievably cozy and well appointed "cabin" in the woods. Perfect place to listen to a record, do a puzzle, read a book, take a bath watching snow fall in the woods, etc. Cooked many a great meal while I was there as well! Lots to do in a short driving distance, but... Why leave? Cannot recommend this place more highly!

Cozy and charming house with unique and fun decor. There was a fire going when we arrived and the house was warm and cozy. Great location within minutes of the town of Woodstock. Hosts had great local recommendations. The sauna was definitely my favorite, felt so good to relax after a long day of hiking.

There were 5 of us, with another 6 staying in another nearby air bnb. We had Thanksgiving in our house and found everything we needed to cook. Seating was a bit challenging, but we made it work and it was very comfortable. The location is in the woods with lots of boulders and rocks, which we all loved. We found the place easily using GPS. Everyone’s bed was comfy. Close enough to what we wanted, just far enough away to make it an adventure. Because it was so cold and grey, we didn’t hike, but saw plenty of opportunities (maybe next time?!)

It’s a fantastic place to stay—a well-designed, private home with a great layout. Conveniently located near the mountain, it’s perfect for skiing while still offering a peaceful retreat.

This was such a lovely cabin the host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. It’s even nicer than the pictures! Would definitely come back

We loved our time at this beautiful cottage! We have been to lots of Airbnb’s, and most have been a good experience. This cottage was something more. We both felt instantly relaxed when we walked in the door. It was so cozy and comfortable. We slept great in the comfy bed. The pictures can’t describe the feeling of the place. Warm, cozy, peaceful, inspiring, comfortable, quiet and truly rejuvenating. I will be making a trip to the area again as soon as possible, just to stay in this cabin retreat.

This place is great! I cooked a LOT while I was there with my partner and although the kitchen isn’t a “full kitchen” (as the host cautioned in our initial messages) it had everything I needed to make what I wanted! Location is incredible and the hiking trails around the property are awesome. The heat and hot water were so consistent which was awesome. Truly no complaints!

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

This AirBnB is so thoughtfully designed and decorated. Every detail was cozy, beautiful, and felt luxurious! I definitely want to come back!

My family and I had a lovely stay. It was exactly what we wanted out of a weekend trip away from home. At the end of our stay, we all said that we need to come back again and have a longer stay!

I have had the pleasure of staying at Ginger’s studio loft apartment on repeat occasion. It is my first choice when visiting Greenwich! It is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and highway; yet you feel like you are far from the hustle and bustle. Thoughtfully supplied coffee, tea, and snack items are available to make your arrival and first morning easy. I always travel with my personal toiletry items, but if you don’t the basics are all there. Thank you for another comfortable stay!

Candy and Will were great hosts.. Responsive and informative about the apartment. The apartment was as described -clean- comfortable- easily accessible and warm. ( January weather!) The neighborhood was great for a morning walk.. The bed was incredibly comfortable.. just what I needed after a 4 hour drive.. And a comfortable room with a cozy gas fireplace! Would happily return.. Joanne’s place is a great cozy and spacious one bedroom apartment that my husband and I enjoyed relaxing at. We found it so comfortable we decided to stay an extra night since we are off from work this week and wanted to just chill out there a bit longer. Joanne was always responsive and easily accepted the reservation change to stay an extra day which was nice of her. I would definitely recommend her place and stay again in the future.

We loved staying at Nicola's magical place! The view is incredible, the space is clean and very comfortable, and the fireplace is the best we've seen. This is our second time coming to her house for a ski weekend with our family, and we loved every minute. Nicola is a terrific host - very responsive and thoughtful. We would love to return in the future!

My friends and I had an amazing time here!! The kitchen was incredible and we were able to make a multi course meal. The yard was beautiful, we felt safe and were able to unwind and hang out. The hosts were amazing and responsive, answering all of our questions and accommodating all of our needs. The house was clean and comfortable and I would happily stay here again :)

The house was lovely and very clean and Piotr was an excellent host and even met us at check in to show us around. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very convenient for us. The kitchen was well stocked and It was very comfortable stay for my family of 7 adults and two babies and two dogs. One bedroom is on the main floor and two bedrooms are on the walkout lower level and one bedroom is on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor there is a steep winding staircase that wasn’t an issue for us, but I would not recommended it for small children or toddlers. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition.

We stayed at Juan's home for 2 weeks while renovations were being done on our home, which is very close to Juan's home. Juan is a fantastic host: extremely responsive and accommodating. The house itself is just as good - if not better - than the photos would have you believe. It is comfortable, clean, modern, and spacious. We were thrilled to be able to stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering booking it.

Beautiful place

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful, spacious, comfortable home in New Paltz. We were nine family members, ages 6-75, who enjoyed four days here after our son’s wedding. It was the perfect place to decompress from a very exciting and magical wedding weekend. The house is spacious and comfortable with a number of areas to relax and enjoy- indoors and out. The pool was a lot of fun, and the house was well provisioned and nicely decorated. It was a rare treat to find a rental house that included basic supplies such as spices, pantry staples like flour and sugar, etc. Ken was an amazing host, very responsive if we had a question and provided a great list of local resources and recommendations that was very helpful. New Paltz is a fun town with a number of good restaurants and more to do in the area than we could manage in four days. Highlights included a day trip to Storm King (fabulous!) and another day to Hyde Park where we visited the Roosevelt homestead and Vanderbilt mansion.

This property and the host were both wonderful. The views and scenery did not disappoint. Being able to watch the deer peacefully walk by and enjoy the beautiful views I'll never forget. The property is private, perched attop a small mountain, with a large fenced in backyard perfect for the pup to get some exercise. Great hiking trails nearby. The host was very accommodating and flexible with our schedule. Overall a fantastic trip and we hope to be back soon!

The place is breathtaking. Located in an incredible land with awesome trails is a marvelous house nicely decorated and amazing rooms. We had an incredible time with my family that we will remember forever. Many thanks to Paula. Always there and really helpful with everything.
