Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rainbow River

Perfect place. Would 100% stay again. Had a slight problem with the pool and they were there in literally 5 minutes to fix it. Wish i could give it 6 stars.

The house and amenities are as described, we had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks, grill, and made s’mores by the fire. Didn’t notice any sulfur smell, even after running showers. Great location for Rainbow Springs, Ocala, Crystal River and other state parks! Peaceful and quiet while still being close to main roads. Overall, great place to stay and would visit again!

Our family had a great stay! The house is very well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as extra linens & pool towels. The furniture all seemed new and was very comfortable. The kitchen has been recently remodeled and was great for preparing meals. We loved having the heated pool right out the back door, & it was peaceful to look out on the canal & enjoy the birds. Rick was very accommodating and communicated with us well before we checked in and throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again! A few local recommendations: Crystal River Watersports is just two minutes away and was fabulous for our manatee tour. We also enjoyed Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, Crystal River Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center (lots of great info about Manatees!), & Fort Island Beach. Our favorite food spots:Abound Coffee (great coffee, smoothies, & pastries); Skinny Tortuga Food Truck (excellent for breakfast/lunch); and Shrimp Landing was great for lunch.

Elizabeth’s place is quiet and peaceful. The giant oak in the backyard and the great outdoor table and chairs make for lovely morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The house is spacious yet cozy. Beds and couches are soft and comfy as clouds. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood with its expansive oaks and small golf club. Close drive to Publix, Starbucks and restaurant, with old town and springs just 15 and 25 minutes via highway or horse-country roads. Elizabeth is super responsive and thoughtful.

We had our 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration here. It was a beautiful place for friends and family with room down stairs to set up eat and enjoy the views and each other on our day. The Home inside was very clean and nice with enough room to be comfortable and enjoy our kids and grandchildren that night before they returned to college and work. It was everything we hoped it would be. Would recommend this to anyone looking to spend time with family. From fishing,games in the yard to quiet conversation with views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palm Waters River House! We had 7 kids and 3 adults for our stay. Our kids ranged from 11 to 2 months. The screened in porches made for a great place for the toddlers while the big kids enjoyed the kayaks and rope swing. It was the perfect getaway for our families!

This house is amazing! We stayed with family and friends. The kitchen is fully stocked with EVERYTHING! The large seating area made it so nice to gather while cooking and eating. There was so much to do. We were wishing we had more time to stay longer. The pool table and game room were an added bonus! No complaints at all.

Cute little tiny home. It was very cozy and comfortable. Close to all Homosassa has to offer.

My family and I loved this place. We ended up extending to a 5 night stay. We all miss it already. The layout was perfect for dad to spend all day fishing and for the rest of us to leisurely join and continue with other activities inside or on the porch. Per the owners suggestion we lit a fire in the fireplace two nights of our stay. Very peaceful. They had everything we needed and more, laundry was onsite & the house was fully stocked to cook meals. There’s a few places to get delivery from, but Crystal River provided the best restaurants with a short drive. Walmart delivery available as well. The beds were comfortable and the furniture accommodated quality family time. Kayaks were available & they have another location on Crystal River where you can paddle to see manatees. Though we didn’t make it out there, (wasn’t sure which kind of kayaks were provided- and with our little one we didn’t know if it would work for us) still a wonderful amenity to have available. Loved it!
