Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rainy Lake

Jereme, was so helpful with all aspects of our 4 night stay at this Beautiful spot near the Poplar River. Skiing out was a breeze and we had enough snow to ski all the way back as well. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool at Caribou and everyone enjoyed this wonderful skiing experience. Great host and great spot at Lutsen Mountains!

The place was lovely! You can see the lake out of the back door. Couldn’t be closer to the beach. The front bedroom was also lovely. Thanks for hosting us!

We just spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Storm Bay cottage. Mark and Faye are great hosts. Mark gave us easy driving instructions, met us on arrival and took the time to show us around. He was also easy to reach when we had a question. Everything about the place was great - the location (close to Kenora for supplies but also private), the house, the boathouse (it's spectacular!), the view, the fishing and especially the sunsets. It's so peaceful and quiet and the fishing was great. We came with a couple of boats but we even caught fish from the dock. When on shore we lacked for absolutely nothing. The kitchen was the best equipped we've ever seen. We didn't use the hot tub or the sauna but I enjoyed having the piano. We were a small group of 4 but there is plenty of room for a very large group on shore and on 2 nearby islands, King and Sunset. We've been coming to LOTW for 40 years and THIS WAS OUR BEST STAY. We can't wait to come back to our favorite place on our favorite lake.

This spot was amazing for our Snowboarding trip, and the group of friends who went absolutely love the location, and of course, right close Giants Ridge made it all the more better. Abby was very responsive, and accommodating! We do this trip annually, and will definitely be booking this again!!

The place was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. Also, it is incredibly close to one of the alpine ski lofts for Giants Ridge (literally right across the street). We will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful family get-away and Rick's home was the ideal place to stay! The location was perfect. The views of the lake were spectacular and the home was cozy with many thoughtful amenities.

I had a great time during my stay over Thanksgiving weekend at Wildwoods Hideaway! The instructions given prior to my arrival were very clear, accurate and helpful - I was able to find it very easily. They were very quick to meet me on my arrival. They gave very simple and thorough instructions on how to use things, which was very helpful as someone who has never used a wood stove or propane stove. I had a very relaxing time at their property! This is a lovely property with beautiful scenery to keep you occupied! I didn’t need much from the hosts during my stay, but I saw them working around the property throughout the weekend and I’m sure they would have been very willing to assist, if needed! I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back one day!

The lodge is pretty close to the Pelican Lake. I’d recommend watching the sunrise& sunset. It’s extremely beautiful.

We absolutely adored this home, land location and the owners. The house was filled with everything and anything you could need. Beds were comfy and the yard, gardens, small private beach and lake were amazing. Jeani and Randy were so kind and thoughtful and their communication was top notch even reaching out to give us an update on the storm that came through, northern lights and harvest moon. Randy was there to meet us and even helped us unload. They had a ton of material for the surrounding areas. We drove up to Voyageurs NP - all of them, Crane Lake and Vermilion Falls, traveled over to do activities in Ely and Tower. They do live onsite but up on top of a hill and we never saw them. We also took the kayaks on the lake. Ducks come to visit several times a day. The neighbors are very friendly, there are trees on both sides so you don't see much. Home is on a dead end road so you can walk dogs without any traffic. Internet speed is great. We would absolutely stay here again.

The cabin is beautiful, peaceful, remote, inviting, very clean, and so comfortable! It was a perfect getaway for our family. Access to the sauna at the Lodge was wonderful. Very kind and responsive host. Thank you!

We had such a peaceful trip and will 100% be back for a longer trip. The views are absolutely amazing, the lake is clean and beautiful. So quite and relaxing. Ely has some nice restaurants and we are looking forward to coming back to explore more.

We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin is adorable with plenty of space around it. After reading a few reviews about the train tracks being so close I was a little concerned about safety and noise. Once we arrived I noticed that safety was not an issue as a river (stream) is located between the property and the tracks. The train runs through frequently but it didn't have a negative impact on our stay and we live in the country with no trains. Randy was very pleasant to work with and I can't say enough good things about our stay. it was a perfect fit!

We had an excellent time at this place! Well situated on the lake to access a lot of different fishing spots, and close to the boat launch to make logistics easier. Beautiful deck and view!

Awesome location, big dock, and beach...a few steps from the cabin to the water (you can hear the waves from the bedroom window). I have rented a lot of cabins in the past...Art's cabin has the best water frontage I have ever seen! The fishing is incredible, we were there 9 days and fished a different spot every time. My son and I caught well over 120 fish over the 9 days, including several large Walleys that we cooked up! Lot's of small mouth bass, and of course endless northern pikes! My truck broke down, and wouldn't be fixed until a couple of days after we were to check out. I told Art about this issue and he made some arrangement's so we could stay a couple of extra days until my truck was fixed. He went out of his way to make things work...it could have been a disaster, but instead we got a couple more day's of fishing in! If you like being on the water and love fishing, this is the place for you! I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Art for your great hospitality!

Can’t say enough great things about this cabin. Such cute decor, clean as a whistle, such a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, awesome location. We would head back in a second!

Thank you Shawn, Everything was clean, convenient, and comfortable. All in working order. The view is spectacular. We so enjoyed the deck overlooking the Lake...peaceful. We were here for the golf and it did not disappoint. Two are in the top 100 public golf courses. We will make this trip again and definitely stay here.
