Cottage holiday rentals in Rance

Had a wonderful stay with my husband and little girl. 10min drive to the beach, and lots more beautiful beaches close by. The cottage is very nice, espcially the kitchen area where we spent most of our time when indoors. Lovely patio for eating outside and hot tub and lots of games to play in the garden which was fun as we had good weather. My little girl loved seeing the sheep and chickens. We found many little towns and things to do for day trips. Would recommend - and Sonia was so friendly and helpful!

The cottage is very neat, the equipment is of quality. The activities offered are easy to use. Chantal is very attentive to her guests and is always ready to answer their questions! Calm and serenity for this weekend with friends. Useful shops are in the immediate vicinity! A stay that met our expectations!

Amazing stay for our family with young children! Location was perfect driving distance from many areas of interest. And the kids enjoyed the added bonus of Sandrine's special pups being around. Thank you so much! Can't recommend enough! Xx

Nice holiday home with 7 bedrooms. We had a nice time there with the family. Jerome was quick to respond to messages, nice host! By car, there are nice places to visit in the area. Children enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi!

Very good stay. The services advertised are at the appointment everything is compliant and the hosts are charming and at our disposal. Big special mention at breakfast which is more than great with quality products.

Viviane's cottage was just ideal! We stayed 2 nights with great conditions and in a relaxing apartment. Viviane is very responsive and accommodating. We even got some fresh eggs and regional products as welcome gifts. The Nordic bath + sauna are a plus not to be overlooked after the day spent at Mont Saint Michel, not far from the accommodation and within walking distance.

We had a great time with Yveline which is very available, the accommodation is ideally located for visiting Dinard, St Malo ... and it is 3 minutes from the beach on foot! Extremely clean and well-equipped, to be booked without hesitation!!

The house is very nice and easily accessible. We were able to park our big car right in front of the house. The location is great – 5 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to the city centre. The facilities match the description and images. The highlight is the swimming pool, which is right behind the house. Valerie is a very nice landlady – she always answers our questions quickly and in detail. Thank you!

Would highly recommend a stay here! Cecile and Greg couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was comfortable and Greg’s cookies were absolutely delicious! We loved the peaceful location and the kids really enjoyed the pool and trampoline in the garden. Nearby Dinan is a beautiful town with lots to explore too.

The house is beautifully located in its own garden. The view of Mont-Saint-Michel is as in the photo and the sheep pastures are also right next door. We didn't have duvets for all 5 people, but it was still very cozy and otherwise very well equipped. The hostess was very nice and gave us very accommodating instructions. We were very pleased and would love to return to this idyll again! Thank you for the trust and the opportunity to spend time in this beautiful house!

Katie, our dog Jesse and I had a lovely peaceful break at Jeanne's cottage. Jeanne provided lots of helpful info about check-in, which was flexible and the local surrounding area for things to do. The house was warm and really well equipped, with lovely dinner sets and a welcome bottle of her local Pommeau de Normandie, which was delicious. The pantry cupboard is well stocked with all the necessities, so you don't need to buy everything in your first shop. The surrounding area both in Normandy and into Brittany, is really pretty, reminds me a lot of Devon in some ways, with big beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves. Plus, some of the best seafood we've eaten in ages. If you love oysters, you'll love this area. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to experience it in warmer weather and longer evenings, but it was a perfect break in winter, too.

We were received very kindly by Dominique and warmly welcomed. The place was very loving and nicely decorated. The amenities were great.

We had a pleasant and quiet stay. Very nice place with lots of things to visit nearby . Thanks for the local gifts.

The welcome was warm and we felt very comfortable with Bettina and Reinhardt from the start. Our dog was also warmly welcomed and there was even a dog bed and a bowl for him. The cottage is extremely lovingly renovated and furnished with a lot of style. We didn't miss anything. The conservatory is wonderful to linger in for windy and rainy moments. In the evening we sat by the fireplace and enjoyed the crackle of the fire while reading. The surroundings were enchanting and we took our two teenagers and the dog on various discovery tours to the coast and on the GR. We look back on a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

Maxine was so accommodating even providing toys, games and books for the children. She allowed the children to see her chickens and was very welcoming. The cottage was in such beautiful surroundings. The place was clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you Maxine

We had the most amazing stay - the hosts were friendly and helpful and accommodating. The pictures don’t do the house justice, it’s huge and stunning and very clean. We had everything we needed and hope to return.

I fell in love with Kate’s place and wanted to stay longer. It was even more beautiful, peaceful, charming and comfortable than I’d hoped. I loved the private feel of the cottage with a gorgeous view of a large green space outside. Even with Kate’s house and another cottage next door, it had a secluded feel. We opened the French doors for air and to hear the birds sing all day. The stars were stunning at night. The gite is situated on a countryside lane, but walking either direction takes you into a charming village—where we found a well-stocked grocery and patisserie (Pleuiden-sur-Rance) and a waterfront restaurant (Mordreuc). Kate was away when we arrived, but on her return she was very warm and welcoming, full of info and reco’s about local happenings, and responsive to a couple requests. A bottle of local cidre had been left for us on arrival, which was a nice touch. Kate and her husband invited us for coffee, which I hope to take her up on next time. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great for families with young children!

We had a great extended weekend at the Maison aux Oiseaux. Isabelle remained available when we needed her. Superbly clean home with everything you need to feel at home. Ideally located, 10 minutes from Dinan, just 30 minutes from Saint Malo. We'll be happy to go back!

Super recommended house! Super comfortable bedrooms (you can completely darken them, nice bedding, good mattress and many cozy pillows) and a very cozy, inviting decor. Good, high-quality kitchen equipment, all basics there and many amenities (e.g. water carbonator). Maria was also infinitely helpful. She shared vegetables from her garden and had a lot of good tips for the area. Very quiet area with many hiking opportunities. There is a neighbor on the property, he was very withdrawn and hardly there. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Great for switching off, completely quiet and very private. Thank you very much, Maria and Bertrand!

Welcoming hosts, cottages ideally located a stone's throw from Mont St Michel Hot pool a real plus! I would recommend it without hesitating
