We had a lovely stay in Hella. We came to see the northern lights and we were not disappointed. This location is perfect for seeing the lights! We saw them twice before bad weather came and clouded the sky. It was a magical experience. The house is warm and cozy. It had everything that we needed and more. The horses were very friendly; we fed them carrots. 10/10 recommend.

Great place to stay. We were allowed to check in earlier and were able to get into the house as early as 12pm. You can conveniently park your car near the house.

Excellent, responsive host. We had an issue with the hot water on Christmas day. He came out and fixed the problem within a half hour. Great location to Vik and Selfoss. Private and quiet, except for the howling winds. Great restaurant close by. Highly reconmend.

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful house in a perfect surrounding. Host ist accommodating and responds quick to questions. Perfect. We come again. :)

Kids enjoyed the most because of the PlayStation .We loved the cute radio playing in the morning during breakfast and the coffee machine was perfect ! We were very comfortable in your house . House was perfect for a family of 4. Also loved the attractions folder . We enjoyed the Mexican food from the food truck company and the ice creams from the local shop. Watched a nice movie together last night . Was home away from home . Thanks a lot .

We stayed for a few nights, and the place and location were absolutely breathtaking. You are fairly close to so many beautiful places in Iceland it makes it a great home base for a day of exploring. Coming back after a day out was homey and warm. Jóna had some great maps and recommendations for things to see while there which were also incredible!

I had a lovely stay in the apartment. It is very cozy and well-equipped, making it suitable for a longer stay as well. Communication with Unnur was easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this accommodation and would gladly return! 😊

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Excellent Ethiopian restaurant which was a little gem to find just beside apartment. Well worth and visit!

Small apartment close to the secret lagoon and Thingvellir Park. Lilja was welcoming and friendly and her dog adorable and playful. Perfect for a short stay.

This place is amazing! We stayed early January in freezing temperatures and it was simply magical. Incredible views and a very homely house. We watched the northern lights in the evening and in the morning we went out for a walk on the farm which was well worth it. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking to experience rural Iceland.

Highly recommended. Everything was very clean and tidy, comfortable for the stay. It is not far from the main road and not difficult to get to.

I cannot say enough about the perfect, picturesque stay at Silja’s horse farm. It’s peaceful, stunning, and inside and out the perfect accommodation for our family of 4 (our 2 young girls 8&5). Immediately outside of the glass doors is a wonderful horse themed play space, which my girls took advantage of every morning, happily greeted by the dogs on the farm. The 2 bedroom apartment is the perfect size, was clean and well appointed. We cooked many meals. We appreciated the pantry staples and complimentary coffee pods that were available when we arrived. The hot tub/pool and steam sauna on the property was out of this world! While we chose to drive up the short path each day due to rain and having kids, I did walk from our place (about 10-15 minutes) once, and it’s an easily accessible walk to the pool/hot tub. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place. We’d love to visit again soon.

This place is definitely cozy but its all we needed. It was driving distance to so many of the sights we wanted to see. It also had a pretty good veiw of the lights 1 night. It was clean and tucked away in a qieut little neighborhood. Tomasz was responsive and even helped me get back some headphones I forgot.

Great quiet location between Vik and Reykjavík. Good amenities and Helena was very friendly and forthcoming. A plus if you love nature and open spaces. :)

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment! It is perfectly equipped, and absolutely nothing was missing. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and very easy to follow. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the provided towels and well-equipped kitchen made everything even better. The view from the apartment is breathtaking, offering complete privacy and a serene atmosphere. We were even lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights during our stay, which was absolutely magical! All in all, this is a fantastic place to stay and highly recommended. We would definitely come back again.

Great far away place to stay and visit the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The provided directions were very helpful in finding the house. Check in was super easy and the house was as described. We got lucky and the aurora were active so we drove down the driveway to get more open skies to watch for a while. I would definitely stay again.
