Absolutely gorgeous home . We loved every moment of it. The house has an incredible kitchen and great little snugs downstairs. Lovely bedrooms upstairs and a large garden to the front of the home , surrounded by a bricked wall and some paddocks to the side. Some breakfast and drinks were left for us on arrival, which was lovely. We stayed for two nights and would definitely come back. Just a note for future guests : The house is hard to find for delivery drivers so just make sure you write in the notes that it’s opposite court lane on village road, otherwise they all end up going to the village pub , which is down the road! Thank you for a lovely stay xx

Had a wonderfully relaxing couple of nights stay here, it was very peaceful to sit out in the sun & listen to the birds & nature. Very comfortable bed & really enjoyed a soak in the bathtub. Was just what I needed to chill out from work & life. Rosie supplied great directions to the woodshed which were easy to follow & the local information supplied but very helpful. Would recommend

This house was easily one of the best airbnb houses I have ever stayed in. Mark was helpful, communicated with ease and the you tube videos of all possible 'tricky' points preempted any questions we might have had. The house was so well equipped that we wanted for nothing whilst we were there, plenty of space and beautifully clean. I would and will happily book this house again without hesitation.

My partner, our dog, and I stayed here over the weekend for a short city break from London, and we had such a relaxing and enjoyable time. Sophie is a fantastic host, friendly and accommodating! The house is set in a peaceful location, perfect for walks, and just a 30-minute stroll from the charming little town. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic stay - do not hesitate to book! Tanya was incredibly communicative and welcoming - she even baked treats for our arrival. The cottage was private, cosy, and had everything you could possibly need (including Sky and a great toy box) and we instantly felt at home. The swimming pool facilities were super and timings really flexible, which made things so easy. Feeding and learning about the rare breed sheep with David was a real highlight too! Our five-year-old was in heaven between the trampoline, swings, swimming, visiting the sheep and even getting to walk Bibi the dog - there were a lot tears on departure. The area is full of great things to do, Tanya had some super suggestions in her welcome book and we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We had the best time! The little hut is very beautiful and the interior shows how much thought the hosts have put into it. There was nothing more we could ask for. Everything in the little home was perfectly arranged, with much attention to aesthetics and comfort. The surroundings are also beautiful and calming, looking out of the window onto the fields at sunrise and relaxing by the fire at dusk brought the feeling of serenity we so longed for a weekend. We were lucky to see the deer herds on our forest walk and to have been visited by the resident barn owl after dark! Excellent communication with the hosts, nice pubs and nature walks nearby. Perfect getaway, especially if you don’t want to travel far from London!

I had a wonderful stay at Suzanne's charming cottage! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The cottage is beautifully decorated, cozy, and spotlessly clean. Suzanne thought of every detail to make the space comfortable, and her hospitality was exceptional. She was always available to answer any questions and provided great local recommendations. The peaceful surroundings made for a perfect getaway, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying at Suzanne's cottage and look forward to returning in the future!

We had a lovely stay at Sabina’s place, it was perfect for two families with young children as they had a great play room, plenty of space and good-sized rooms. It was great that it had parking, and also a lovely garden where we could spend a bit of time in the sun for dinner.

Stephen was extremely responsive throughout, including when he had to move the boat (with us on it!) to a slightly different location upstream as the river had dropped in level so much. The boat itself is fabulous - really well equipped, with comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. Our location in Abingdon managed to be really quiet and simultaneously in the middle of things. Thoroughly recommend.

Such a beautiful house - cosy, comfortable, nicely decorated & much larger than I expected! The house is well located for going out and about in Abingdon, or taking the short bus ride into Oxford city centre from the bus stop 2 minutes away from the house. Plenty of nice shops & supermarkets within walking distance, as well as a fun Mexican restaurant and a friendly parkrun. The house is super well equipped, and the hosts are helpful & responsive with super clear check in / parking instructions. Would highly recommend!

Home from home. Catered for the whole family, including our three dogs. Great location for watching our daughter play for England under 18s six nations also a great place for her to come and relax for her afternoon off and have a long soak in the bath very much needed for a rugby player. Lots of places to visit locally like Ascott and Windsor Castle. Chloe was very helpful too.

Beautiful spacious and comfortable property in stunning Chilterns village. Lovely easy local walks right from the house, so perfect for anyone like us ,with a dog. Gastropub next door is a bonus and saves getting the car out! Great coffee and fresh rolls from the village shop so you have everything you need on your doorstep. Hope to return!

Stayed for a month while on placement near by and it was perfect for what I was after. Would definitely need a car to get around but close enough to Newbury to not feel too isolated! Thank you Tracy for a lovely stay

We had a fabulous stay at Sophie’s. Her house was larger than expected with a fully enclosed garden which was great for our dog. The house had everything we wanted with a local Indian just at the top of the road that was excellent. We had great fun exploring the area and Sophie provided us with some great places to visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thanks Sophie.

We had the loveliest stay at the Keepers Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed (and more as some toys had kindly been left out for our little ones to play with!) An excellent property. The location is superb. At the centre of town, close to restaurants, pubs, tea-room, shops - a short walk from Waitrose. Very clean and very nicely set out and furnished. We enjoyed the Agatha Christie theming. Everything was jut as advertised. The door opening mechanism was very convenient. Would happily stay there again.

thanks Vanessa for the well gesture. the place was as described in the listing. remote location to the town centre where lots to do in there. 30 mins from London Paddington using the train which is nearby in 10 mins walk. sure recommend this place when visit here again.

Beautiful little apartment In wonderful location. Perfect for our family of three and dogs. Host communication was excellent, loved the flexible check-in and had a family like feel to the place. Highly recommend the Bear in North Moreton pub - 10 minute drive away. Oxford city centre is sub 30 minutes and a great day out also. Would love to visit again!
