Holiday rentals in Rhenigidale

This was an absolutely stellar place to stay in Portree. The house is beautiful, it was well-stocked overall, and the host was overly generous with treats upon our arrival (wine, beer, chocolates, biscuits, etc.). The views were stunning and it is a short stroll into Portree. The host responded almost instantly to any quick questions we had. I’m so glad we had 4 nights here - we would absolutely return if we are back in Skye.

Amazing scenery unlike anything you can imagine !

This is a spacious, cosy, comfortable place to stay. It's peaceful, remote, in beautiful surroundings - the Atlantic to the West, the mountains of Torridon to the East, and views of Skye from beautiful local beaches. Onie and Ally were friendly and helpful (above and beyond after I'd gone knee-deep in a bog on a walk, making sure my boots dried by morning). The apartment is, if anything, better than in the photos - the comfortable sitting room/dining/kitchen area really spacious. I slept super-well here and had some great walks and drives in the day - taking hundreds of photos.

Me and my partner came here for the weekend, we made the right choice staying here ! felt right at home + had an amazing hot tub, hosts were really lovely and provided all the info we needed x 😊

A great house in a very convenient location, walkable to everything in Stornoway and easy to get out to other parts of the island from. The house was very clean and well appointed, parking on the street outside was easy, and overall we had everything we needed. The sunny back patio was particularly lovely. The only small downsides were the bed, which was very hard (but this is pretty standard in Britain so not surprising), and the neighbours on one side were a bit loud (but not through the night so again, not a deal breaker, just a bit irritating). Overall would stay here again if needing a place in Stornoway.

We had a brilliant stay in Hebrides Cottage, owner Janice was excellent with her quick, helpful communication….we found everything we could possibly want or need was provided…..it was exceptionally clean. The cottage was in a fantastic peaceful location, the views from the bedrooms and kitchen were absolutely amazing. We visited local restaurants in Stornoway, and it was very easy to drive in to go to a variety of small shops and get supplies from the large Tesco and Co-op supermarkets. We visited many local sites, Callanish Stones, Dun Calloway - the best preserved Broch, Gearrannan Blackhorse, Butt of Lewis, Lews Castle and the very informative museum about Hebridean island life, we will definitely come back to stay again. We had a wonderful time at Blossom Cottage. Such a peaceful place and such a beautiful cottage with everything you could need. Kati was brilliant, great communication with loads of great local recommendations and even let us check in a few hours early as the cottage had been all cleaned for us! Would 100% recommend as a base to explore the island!

This was one of the highlights of our trip! Everything was even more beautiful than the pictures and our family of 4 found the accommodations perfect for our needs. Very close to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world! Host was responsive and easy to communicate with!

The accommodation was very convenient and incredibly spacious for two people. It had two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Parking was available right next to the property, which was very convenient. The heater worked perfectly, keeping the place warm and cozy. The surrounding views were beautiful, making the stay even more enjoyable. I was especially impressed by the host’s warm hospitality and quick communication. Highly recommend!
