Charming, former farm worker house without TV

In the middle of the village centre of the wine village Bechtheim (1800 inhabitants), on a barely busy neighbouring road, you have the renovated farmhouse of a former winery all to yourself. The kitchen is our small museum, but can not only be viewed, but also used. On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with two single beds) and a bathroom. We don't have a TV! But for this a beautiful garden, which can be used until 10 pm.

The apartment is just minutes from the center with restaurants, cafés, wine bars, historic wineries, various shops. The vineyards start around the corner and all lead to the nearby hiking area "Palatinate Forest" with its popular managed huts. The Villa Ludwigshöhe, the Rietburg ruins, which you can reach on a romantic way with the Rietburg cable car, the game enclosure located there and a panoramic café are just some of the beautiful destinations.

The living space stretches over two floors. On the ground floor is the living/kitchen area with wood stove, sofa and wooden table, as well as the small kitchen, which is equipped with a gas hob and fridge. The ground-level living space is adjoined by a wooden terrace with seating area. On the lower floor is also the bathroom with shower and WC. The spacious bedroom on the upper floor is easily accessible via a wooden staircase.

Room in comfortable courtyard ride

We offer a small guest room in our cozy romantic farm ride. The room is in our barn and is equipped with shower and sink. The toilet is located separately in the yard. The kitchen in the separate seminar house can also be used. The cozy courtyard invites you to stay. Also ideal for hikers, bike or motorcyclists passing through. For a short time, we have a paid electric car charging station / wallbox in the yard.

My place is close to Meisenheim in the north Palatine mountains in the village of Gangloff. The studio is located in the heart of Oestrich and thus in the immediate vicinity of numerous restaurants, ostrich farms, wineries and grocery stores such as Rewe, Netto and Aldi. A 2-minute walk away are the Rhine with wine barrel to taste wine, a small bookstore, an ice cream shop, a stationery shop, a butcher's and an ATM from Sparkasse, Volksbank and Postbank. Parking is also very close by.

The former family chamber of the original farm was lovingly expanded by us into a spacious attic apartment. The apartment expanded into the gable exudes a very special charm. In the 100 sqm apartment there are two bedrooms with double beds, a baby bed and a large living room with open, fully equipped kitchen. The modern bathroom has a walk-in shower with wall heating.
