Very homely welcoming feel. Well stocked fridge and generous breakfast provisions. Very pet friendly and accommodating of our dogs. Spotless and clean and well kept and home from home vibe. Charming decor. Hosts couldn't be more generous and considerate. Ivan and Jaine were so helpful friendly and welcoming. So quick to respond to anything extra we needed. We had such a great new year with our family living in the area which was made even better by this brilliant Airbnb. Thank you

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay when we came over to Wales for the rugby. Liz was amazing since we first booked. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful & very clean with everything you could ask for a short stay. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile & kindness from Liz who went out of her way to make sure we got into town in time for kick off & from there everything about our stay was perfect! I would 100% recommend this cottage & will definitely be back next time we visit Cardiff. Thank you Liz & family for letting us share your beautiful space.

we stayed with sharon for a weekend at the beautiful lodge. a very comfortable space, well thought out, with a very well-equipped kitchen (nothing was missing!), spacious and well-maintained bathrooms. a living room with a beautiful view. good price, very close to the town and with very nice and caring hosts.

Lovely stay in perfect set-up for us. Everything we needed, well equipped and very neat and tidy (we soon got used to the creaky floor!). We were very comfortable and will hope to make a return visit.

We had a really lovely stay, the cabin has had a lot of thought put into it and was well equipped with everything needed. Great walks including the Blorenge mountain directly from cabin, walkable to town, near to supermarket. Would definitely stay again.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a perfect touch, and the host went above and beyond by leaving a box of chocolates for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Communication was great, and everything exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!

Brilliant stay, I stayed for over a month and really enjoyed calling it home somewhere clean safe and comfortable to stay… that was a home away from home much better than staying in a hotel somewhere. Clean, Modern and Cosy! Ticked all the boxes and can’t wait to hopefully stay again soon ….

This place is perfect for a beautiful getaway. Perfect location for us as we were going to the four trails walk waterfalls. Beautiful scenery all around this location. The host was nothing but perfect. Very helpful & responsive. Even helped me out when I left something at the place so many thanks to them. Would highly recommend.

Really cosy little cabin. It was easy to find using Levina's instructions, with easy access but very secure. And as soon as we were inside it felt private and quiet. We were greeted with a pristine cabin and chocolates on the bed!

We received a very warm welcome from both Patricia and Tim and the extras they supplied on our arrival were very much appreciated. They kept in contact whilst we were there to check we were warm enough and everything was ok. The accommodation is well worth the money and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking . It's also very well situated, within easy reach of the cities of Cardiff, Swansea & Newport and the towns of Bridgend, Maesteg & Porthcawl as well as the coast. We highly recommend and will be back soon. Many thanks indeed to very nice hosts.

Great location, mountains on the doorstep, on one our walks we even had the pleasure of bumping into a few groups of wild horses. We loved playing some of the record collection, while sat in front of fire using the endless supply of logs to burn. The hosts were great, quick to answer any questions, we will definitely be back and will stay for longer next time.

I made a very last minute booking with Debbie and she was very accommodating, despite the fact that she was leaving soon to go out for a meal. The room was nicer than some that I've stayed in at 4* hotels. I would not hesitate to return.

You can definitely describe this place as unique. It has a real charm. Everything we need was there. It's not the Ritz, but we didn't pay for the Ritz. Great weather made the BBQ area great as a gathering space. Perfect for an 11up Stag weekend at Bike Park Wales

Great one night stay. Large space and comfy bed and sofa. Claire had put all the heating on so it was lovely and warm when we arrived.

A beautiful location, which was made very welcoming by nice touches on arrival. Pleasant communication from our hosts and would happily stay here again.

A fantastic place to base yourself in the Brecons. The cottage was lovely, had everything you could need, was warm and perfectly based for walks in the Brecons. You can do a big loop of Pen Y Fal / Sugarloaf from Gilwern (or a short drive for the regular route). Kathryn was responsive, clear, helpful and left a lovely welcome hamper. We loved our stay and would come again
