Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Richland County

We had a great weekend at Nancy's place. The house was clean and had all the amenities described. We enjoyed the fire pit stocked with wood and the hot tub. There was plenty of space for our group and having 2 full bathrooms was nice. The location was perfect for hiking and activities in Mohican. I definitely recommend staying here and would stay again!

The textiles were amazing! The history behind the property was very intriguing. We loved the layout of the home. Well appointed rooms. The home is solid concrete/stone. It keeps warmth very well. You feel very protected from the elements (storms, etc). It is close to Mt. Vernon. It's easy access to local events and restaurants but also remote enough to be private and quiet. Very peaceful stay.

Great place for a peaceful getaway!! Everything was as pictured and described, and the little details, like labels and bath scrubs, were really nice and made us feel welcome. We had no issues during our stay and would definitely stay again. Some notes for potentials: As described in the listing, the hot tub is on the porch that is screened in. There is no way to close/cover the screens, so on colder nights, have your towels nearby! Also, there is a train that goes by behind the property, and sometimes after 10p, but it wasn't often or crazy loud and we enjoyed watching it go by. Finally, some recs: - Westmeister farm, about 15 minutes away from here, you can swim with otters! - Mi Angel Mexican was not far, very good portions and delicious - A Slice of Heaven pizza in Shiloh was also very good Thank you, Jolene and Kyle!

Great place for a little getaway! Not too far from Mohican St Park for our day activities and plenty of fun stuff at the house to do in the evenings—they even had fire starters and smore sticks! I would definitely stay here again, the outdoor space was especially lovely and the hosts were very responsive.

If we could rate it higher than 5 stars, we would. Their place is exactly as pictured, feels just like home, and they thought of everything as far as what you would need! If you have children, they thought about everything detail. The fireplace was delightful! They were extremely responsive and helpful anytime we had a question. This is the best air bnb we have stayed at so far. The surroundings are nice, it’s a short drive to hiking and food places. What an enjoyable time!

This place was perfect for what we wanted. Peaceful, quiet and a pond with lots of bass to catch. We were met upon arrival by the owner who answered all of our questions and assured us they were a phone call away if we had any problems. We totally enjoyed the very peaceful atmosphere, it was a perfect weekend getaway for my husband and myself.

This A-frame cabin is cozy and has all you need. It’s on a peaceful street that leads down to the lake, the sunrises are beautiful… went for retreat and it was peaceful. I would stay here again.

What a wonderful place! It was spotless and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend this listing to anyone visiting the area.

We go every year to the Cabin for my Brothers birthday. This past year my brother passed, but I felt closer to him just being at our favorite place. Will keep this tradition going in his name. ❤️

The only reason we didn’t give it a 5 star across the board was the cold weather definitely made for a cold stay obviously. The living room was hot & the bedrooms were cold especially the basement one. And in the basement one, I stepped on a piece of glass. Other than that, our stay was peaceful and quiet which is exactly what the 6 of us needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jodi's place. It was secluded and quiet with very little traffic. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and we used the hot tub both nights we were there. The gas grill was fantastic and we played plenty of games. We were a short drive from great hiking at Mohican and we had a chance to visit some of the other sites in the area. Jodi's instructions were clear, concise, and were sent well before our trip- we had no trouble finding the home or checking in. It was a very relaxing, enjoyable trip and we look forward to our next trip to the area.

What a hidden gem. The location was private with pretty wooded surroundings (including a fire pit, hot tub, and covered outdoor dining area.). The home was very clean and nicely decorated. The attention to detail was impeccable. Jodi provided proactive communication, a binder with helpful information, and offered local recommendations. If you are looking for a relaxing get away, we highly recommend Whispering Pines.

The Creekside Cottage was perfect for a romantic weekend away for my husband and me. It is easy to see that Tim and Cindy have thought of every detail to maximize their guests’ experience. The location is great- close to restaurants and stores, but once you enter the property you feel like there is no one for miles! The California King bed upstairs was BEYOND comfortable. If you end up there on a rainy weekend like we did, have no fear! They have a huge DVD collection and lots of streaming options. The hot tub was the icing on the cake of this wonderful property! Definitely recommend.
