Vill 'A Lykke

Sagatun is a residential area in the center of Hamar. Walking distance to the pedestrian street and all the city's cafes and restaurants as well as museums and cultural offerings. Lake with bathing facilities and train station is 10-15 min. walk from the house. The bathing facility, Ankerskogen, as well. The villa you live in is designed by architect Finn Poppe, a Norwegian architect who was behind the construction of a number of functionalist buildings in Hamar. He himself lived in the house for a number of years since it was completed in 1939.

Do you like silence and nature while being a short distance to the city? Then our location is perfect. Our house has large windows down towards the water, a lovely view and amazing light. Sun from morning to night. Short way to Lillehammer, Sjusjøen, Birkebeiner ski stadium and Nordseter. Hiking terrain right outside the door, walking distance to the water where we have a canoe. Short way to ski slopes and hiking terrain. We have fiber and space for your home office if you want to work. A new sauna can also be borrowed upon agreement.

Bus connection a block away from the residence, grocery 2 min walk. Private parking lot outside residence. Large and spacious porch with roof, seating area and barbecue in summer time. Possibility to pre-catch skis. There is one double bedroom, one bedroom with 120 frame mattress and a 120 frame mattress in living room.

Villa Leonore: Cottage w/shoreline on Helgøya

For those who really want to experience the best Weekend Island has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summer house built for tram director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A nice garden leads down to a private beach at Mjøsa. Lovely perennial bed and a private kitchen garden to help yourself to. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and cook delicious local and organic food, with the farm and area's own products. There are great hiking opportunities on Helgøya, for walking, running and cycling.

Cozy house by the smallholding
