Boutique hotel holiday rentals in Rio de Janeiro Metropolitan Area

I was extremely delighted with the entire hosting experience. The room and the hotel are exactly as the ad shows, all very organized, clean. All staff are very attentive and helpful. The hotel's breakfast was discounted for being an owner's room and by the way is an exceptional breakfast. Elves is an excellent host, answered everything with a lot of education and was very helpful in the tips of places to know. Very good, quiet and safe location. It's definitely in my favorites for a next chance!!!

The hotel was very nice and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning person made sure the room was cleaned everyday. The only thing I would change is the host being a more sympathetic to the situation of a delayed flight which caused us not to use the room 2 days prior to our arrival. I requested a refund for the 2 days and was denied. The issues were out of our control and I even had proof. If it were fault of our own, I would have taken the L on this one. Nevertheless, you can’t cry over spilled milk and the trip continued on.

We had a great stay at Matthieu’s! We felt immediately at home. The house is even more beautiful than on the pictures. He gave us very good recommendations for our first time in Rio. The neighborhood is lovely with lots of cafes and restaurants at walking distance. The breakfast with the view was a lovely way to start the day :) Highly recommend staying here when you visit Rio.
