Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rio Grande County

The home was exactly what we needed! Very clean and welcoming. Enjoyed seeing all of the mule deer and turkey around the neighborhood and the drive to Wolf Creek was easy! Had no issues at all and would stay here again.

Overall nice and cozy. It is an easy 15-20 min drive to the slopes. It is a 5 minute drive to a cute grocery store (rainbow grocery). You want to check out Docs for your souvenirs. Drive into Pagosa Springs for pizza it’s worth the drive and the drive is gorgeous. There are Mule deer all over the town of South Fork, and elk just outside of town. As two older adults, we choose to NOT climb the small circular stairs and let the kids stay up there which meant we stayed in the basement part which was kinda odd but cozy with the kids in the main cabin alone. The back deck with the chairs and the view of the river are breathtaking and the surroundings are amazing!. When we return to Wolf Creek we will be staying in South Fork. We might look around but we would MOST DEFINITELY stay here again and MOST DEFINITELY recommend this property. (Opinion) (A humidifier for winter guests would be awesome!)

We loved staying here! The home was perfect - well furnished and well equipped. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to actually cook while on vacation (including things like salt and olive oil - thank you!). The bedrooms all had plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and there were plenty of books to peruse during our stay. The back deck opens right onto a big open field - perfect for kids to run and play. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great week here at this unique property. Corey met me in person and showed me around and was very warm and welcoming. It’s a beautiful and incredibly private property, and the house is full of so much interesting art, oddities etc. very inspiring and I’d love to return sometime !

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely will staying next time when we are in the area. My family and I (7 adults) were able to spread out comfortably thought all the bedrooms. It was a great midway point for our family most of us from Denver and my brother and his wife from Santa Fe. We loved the bee and antique furnishings throughout the house. We especially loved going to the hot springs almost every day we were there. We also enjoyed playing a little poker and other games after soaking in the spring. We really appreciate Donnie responding promptly for a minor issue we had.

Everything was great, nice place and plenty of room. Loved the yard games and access to the grill.

This is probably one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed at. The house was so beautiful decorated and everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Which was a major plus since so many other places we have stayed have an non stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and each room was spacious. Our kids loved the swing upstairs and the friendly cat that greats you. The location is perfect for visiting the sand dunes and hot springs. It was nice to be somewhere so quite and with incredible views. If we make it back to the area again we'd definitely stay again.

We are repeat guests. We love this location and the surrounding area. The house suits our family well and was very clean. We spend our days outdoors hiking/backpacking in the area. We cook the majority of our meals in the kitchen. Still a bit of a work in progress, but we had a great stay and love this spot! The scenery & remoteness are just what we look for!

Beyond fantastic! This place is a gem. It hurts to write a great review because I wish I could keep it a secret. Everything about this place screams a great time away from mundane life and recharging in nature. If you like to fly fish, there are monsters to be had in the river. The ranch dogs, Povi and RuRu kept my two little sons entertained and Glenn was more than a gracious host. This isn’t some minute by minute planned out ranch experience where you over pay for a catered trip that leaves you unfulfilled. This is a place where you can get far away from life and make time stop for yourself. It’s not the Ritz, it is freedom to experience ranch life with PRIME fishing all around you! What a cozy cabin. From the moment we opened the door we felt right at home. Lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Hiking less than a mile away in the National Forest. The cabin is roomy & has everything you need. We will definitely be back.
