Holiday rentals in River Dearne

We spent a lovely weekend at Jane’s hideaway. It’s in prime location in the Peak District, nestled between some excellent walks and close to Hathersage. The cottage is comfy and stylishly decorated and we appreciated the coffee and milk!

Superb place , excelent host

A lovely place to stay. Really good value. Superb location. Kitchen is very well equipped. No parking in front of the house but only short 50m walk to the car. High chair and cot and kids bowls in the kitchen make it helpful. 2 minute walk into town.

The photos, don't do the bungalow and the grounds justice. The owners have done everything to the highest possible standards, no corners have been cut! The bungalow is absolutely perfect. It's, tasteful and modern, bright and clean! The outside area is just as good. Hot tub, outdoor cooking area and games room, all clean and well maintained. This place is well worth the money! We didn't want to come home. I loved having a few drinks in the pub up the road, that's completely unique, and then jumping in the hot tub. The hosts left us alone (but let us know, they were available if needed) and allowed us to enjoy their lovely bungalow and tub! We will 100% return. Unfortunately this venue has set the bar very high for all future venues that we stay at and I don't think that will find better or even to this standard. Thank you Simon and family.

Great stay, stopped with my kids who are mostly teens, they didn’t want to leave! Plenty of room for us all to spread out, very spacious! Convenient for city centre, shops, train station etc Would definitely stop again, many thanks! Host left us sweets and staples which was a lovely touch.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pingle Nook Farm Guest House. The place is ideal for families wanting a peaceful location. My boys loved feeding the chickens everyday & collecting the eggs. The house was well equipped and clean with everything we needed as a family. We will definitely be back!

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! Great place to stay. Easy access to key routes and local amenities. Petra was lovely and encourages you to make yourself at home. I am planning on returning as I really enjoyed my stay. Great Wi-Fi for working or browsing the web, Sky TV, a relaxing garden. Everything you need for a few days away
