We love this flat, it is spacious and gives us a great home from home for Christmas entertaining. The position in the dock land allows us to walk to various activities and adds to the festive air. 3rd visit, hope to be there again next year. Thanks Dave

Really beautiful place to stay with incredible views. Ian offered up some gorgeous recommendations for where to eat like the lovely ‘on the rocks’ restaurant just over the headland. The cove location is super peaceful and quiet, with only a few more people around on the weekend than during the week. There are coastal walks in every direction, and so many beaches to choose from. We even went for a freezing cold dip in the sea which is seconds away from the flat. Overall we had the most rejuvenating little staycation imaginable. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

A lovely clean and cosy flat. Had everything we needed and was nice and warm. Ideal for my son and I, who were visiting Cardiff University. Easy walk into Penarth town and lovely views of the bay. Phoebe and James were great hosts, easy to talk to and very responsive. The apartment is beautiful with lovely open lounge and kitchen areas. As I have mobility issues, having everything on one level made it really relaxing and easy to get around including having a lift to use . The views are fantastic and we hope to stay again in the future.

This was our second stay at Michelle's place and we found the flat to be as lovely as the first time. The check in instructions were clear and we found the parking spot with no trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated the lovely welsh cakes Michelle had left out for us. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

Incredible place to spend Christmas time with the family (group of 10). Alex was an amazing host, always responsive and trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house itself had ample space for everyone and the games room was a highlight for the children. The river on the back garden and the view was serene. Also Pontypool offered all amenities we wanted, from supermarkets, parks, and pubs. All in all an outstanding option.

We had a fab week celebrating my 60th birthday - a beautiful house in a superb location for walking, cycling and kayaking. Superb facilities and a great host.

A beautiful home, with the layout working well for the surroundings overlooking the sea. The house was warm and welcoming with everything we needed to make it cosy for our break. Katie was very proactive keeping in touch if we needed anything and if everything was alright. Peaceful location, with a wonderful view of the shore.

Our multi generational family had a wonderful stay in Lock Cottage. Everything you could need was provided in a homely environment. Noel was so helpful and reassuring as we were concerned about recent flood levels on the river. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful property just a short taxi ride into Bath, lovely pub nearby Hope and Anchor where we had a delicious Sunday lunch.

Kept in touch . Clear directions and was waiting for our arrival to take us to the apartment. Explained all the amenities and was hand on checkout giving us clear directions to the City centre and Cardiff Bay so we got the most out of our day. Spotless accommodation. Safe secure parking and a wonderfully comfortable bed! All round excellence.

We had such a lovely stay at Mumblesescape. The apartment is modern, spacious, warm and in a perfect location - close to restaurants, shops and the coastal walk. The dog loved it and so did my boys. Having a hot tub was the icing on the cake! Thank you for a lovely stay, we’ll definitely be back!

Great little gem of a place, right on the seafront at Barmouth. We were grateful that Geoff gave us advance notice that we could arrive a bit earlier for checking in, which helped us make the most of our stay. It was lovely to be greeted with a bottle of Prosecco too, a very generous welcome. The place is lovely, is exactly as described, it was quick to heat up after we arrived (we visited in February), the facilities seemed great, although we didn’t do any cooking during our stay. Bed was comfy, although at 6’4”, I found it a little small for me. Bathroom is lovely, plenty big, very clean and everything works well. The location is brilliant - you can see the sea and it’s a short walk to both the beach and the town, including Barmouth’s pubs and restaurants. Barmouth is a beautiful little seaside town, with its long beaches, mountainous backdrop, great places to eat and drink - it’s massively underrated. Geoff was very friendly and responsive, I would recommend and we will stop again

The apartment was excellent in location and quality. It has everything you need for a short or long stay. Warm and quiet with off street parking with a stunning sea view. Everything was modern and clean. It was lovely to meet Sue on check out. A big thank you to Mark's neighbour Val who kindly let us park our second car in her space. Communication with Mark was brilliant. Knowing the area well, I knew that Sand Bay is a great place to explore. Sand Point has fantastic views across the Bristol Channel. Thank you for a memorable stay, we loved it and will certainly return!

A wonderful stay in a great apartment. It’s even nicer than the photos. The hosts were great, very accommodating, responsive and helpful. There aren’t many steps to the apartment and it was easy to get in and out. Highly recommended. I would love to stay again,

Absolutely loved our stay here! Heidi supplied great information on how to get to the property and all what the surrounding areas has to offer. She was super friendly and very helpful. What a fantastic place to stay! A beautiful location by the river. The balcony was perfect for relaxing and watching the ebb and flow of the tide. The whole place was welcoming from the second we walked in with lovely modern and clean decor throughout. Shona was fantastic with an initial query re. a key to the balcony and very quickly sorted it for us. She was also very kind in keeping us up to date with road closures due to a marathon on our day of departure and even gave us extra time to check out, so that we weren't rushed. We can 100% recommend this apartment and Shona as a host.
