Again, our stay in this haven of peace has fulfilled its function: taking the time to recharge, pick up, and rest. Close to trails and hikes, shops and the beach, the location is ideal and the view of the river is still just as beautiful. Amélie and René are responsive, attentive hosts and easy communication with them.

Great place to stay with a large group! Each room has a bathroom or toilet room. Lots of space in common areas to hang out, play games, catch up with friends. Easy access to snowmobile trails.

The house is very warm and comfortable. When we arrived, everything was very clean. Thanks for your hospitality!

This house was just perfect for our visit to the County. So peaceful and beautiful. The enclosed porch has big windows overlooking the lake. That was my favorite spot. I could stare at the water all day, and listen to the loons. The kitchen is large, and had everything we needed. Dining area and living room were bright and uncluttered. Two bedrooms, one large, and one very large. The beds were really comfy, and all the furnitures was nice. Overall, our stay couldn’t have been better! And Alison sent us messages once or twice asking if we needed anything, and making sure we knew how to turn on the heat. So thoughtful! Overall, our stay couldn’t have been nicer. We hope to come back again.

Mike and Carrie are truly nice people. Very down to earth and easily accessible. The building is very open yet cozy and has everything you need in the kitchen. We walked into the building and on the table was a welcome gift of snacks and cookies! How cool!! Communication was very responsive and helpful. They gave us the perfect place to hunt moose and we got one within the first half hour of opening day! Not surprising that they know the area well! My boys and I had a nice relaxing visit to Eagle Lake and plan to go back in January for ice fishing season!

We loved our stay at Chapella - we were here during a big winter storm and honestly I can’t think of a better place to be holed up. Cozy, warming fire, beautiful interior - it’s exactly like the photo and more. The surrounding area is peaceful and we enjoyed snowshoeing (equipment provided!) around the property. 10/10 will bookmark for next time.

Very clean, kitchen equipment, sheets, towels, etc... Well located, we loved our stay. The host is available 24/7 if you have any questions. I'd go back. Please note that in winter it is essential to have an SUV to get to the property in case of big snow.
