Attentive service a and a very clean property

We had a very relaxing & comfortable 10 weeks in Gary's Villa #1. We enjoyed sitting on the deck late afternoons to take in the peaceful surrounding tropical jungle & sea view. There was often a lovely breeze if you keep upstairs windows open you will only need the fans on. King bed in the master was really comfortable. As we cooked dinners most evenings we found the kitchen well equipped. Doing laundry was easy & hanging out the clothes to dry smelled so good! The complex is right off the beach & a 10 minute walk to a couple of restaurants & dive shops. We rented a car from Ramirez Rental as we like to explore the different neighborhoods & to reach different dive shops. We jumped in the pool each afternoon to cool down, read or chat with the neighbors. Property Mgr, Natalia was great! We only had a couple of issues & she took care of them immediately. Pedro, a very hard working man keeps the grounds in great shape. It was nice to meet the owner Gary who was onsite to welcome us.

I'm always careful about criticizing someone's business. Luckily in this case, I don't have to choose words carefully. In this cases, the air bnb was very high quality. The amenities like air conditioning and pool were in excellent condition and well used by us. While the location required that we hire transportation - the land itself in each location was clean and safe. It was important for us to have access to a washer and dryer and we did. These worked as well. Natalia communicated clearly, was polite and responded promptly to our needs. I would highly recommend the driving company Roatan Transport. Miacol Ponce and his driver Roni were responsive, flexible and respectful. For example when we asked about mass for Sunday, Roni knew where to find an English speaking church service at a church where a lot of Americanos go but then later learned about a Garifuna mass at another church and took us there instead. Thank you soo much for your hospitality. Will definitely be back.

Paulo and the whole crew at Splash Inn were wonderful. The free breakfast was way better than expected and the dive shop was seamless. They taught the Nitrox course for me so I could do a wreck dive and made great recommendations. The transportation to/from the hospital was seamless and safe. The pool was fun and the employees worked nonstop to keep the property operating. Feliz gave our daughter multiple horse rides and we always felt safe. The location was an easy walk to downtown. The owners were extremely low key and worked hard alongside everyone else.

We had a great time in Roatán and Gary’s Villas were in a great location with access to the West End, West Bay, and day trips to the eastern end of the island. A few local beach restaurants like Baha Bahina and Fresh were perfect for lunch and breakfast. There’s also a local grocery store with a good selection. Natalia, the property manager, was also local and supported our check in and answered questions we had and helped us find activities and excursions. We would rebook Gary’s villas on a return to Roatan!

If you're looking for a stand-out vacation with opportunities every single day and evening to make life-time memories --- this is it! Paul is an amazing host and his team is equally responsive, friendly, at-the-ready with any request, etc. I cannot say enough about the hospitality and eagerness to please. The exact location of this villa is perfect because you are in a truly peaceful hide-away but you can walk 20 minutes in one-direction and be in the middle of a major party or walk 20 minutes in the other direction for fantastic dining options, pubs, boutiques and shopping. I also really appreciated all the great recommendations. Whatever it is: who to call for the water taxi, where to go to fish, personalized and customized zip-lining excursions, zero-risk on the outings, etc. etc. etc. We do alot of Airbnb and VRBO and this is without a doubt, a true standout. We will be back for sure and we could not be happier to give Paul and this location an enthusiastic thumbs up!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The caretaker, Steven was very responsive and helpful. He went out of his way to take us to the grocery, a kayak tour, and arrange for transportation so we could enjoy a nearby resort. The property manager, Liz, was very helpful and gave us good advice on things to do. We were especially pleased with how well the kitchen was set with pots, pans and appliances. The pool was the star of the show and we spent many hours lounging and taking a dip. The house dogs, Molly and Maya greeted us every morning and are very sweet. It is a 30 minute drive from the house to a grocery, so it is important that one take this into consideration, and stock up when coming from the airport. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Vivaro South House was the perfect place for our family of 6 to spend a week in Roatán. The home is beautiful, the view fantastic, and the location allows great flexibility, allowing some to wander down to Half Moon Bay while others can sun by the pool. The open nature of the house allows the island winds to provide the air conditioning for the home during the day. Cleaning service provided throughout the week is a bonus. We highly recommend Vivaro South House.

We don't know where to start in singing the praises of this place. The house itself is wonderful. Spacious, well thought out, super comfortable bed, private pool, great outdoor spaces, and cozy furniture. The view was incredible. Sunrise, sunset, all day long the reef was sitting there like a jewel calling out to you. Dalia was sweet, attentive, and very helpful. Her cooking can not be adequately described. Well worth the price and convenience. Matt was a wealth of knowledge and on top of all things related to the house and amenities. We really enjoyed their dedication to making sure we were happy on the grounds. The dock, the close little reef, the kayaks, the far reef, the manicured landscape, all of it was spectacular and made it so you don't have to leave to have an amazing time. We couldn't have picked a better spot to enjoy a week of snorkeling and kayaking.

Group of 7 ladies ranging from late 20s to early 60s. We had a GREAT time here! Things to know for future guests: - Must be able to walk / climb stairs - Tap water is safe to drink at this property - Bring water shoes as the beach water is rocky - CASH for Roatan is a must. (USD works) - Pudens lives on site and sets up the beach cabana bed, takes care of maintenance, and will take you snorkeling. He's GREAT! - Pudens can arrange for on site massages ($40 for 30 mins) - Desiree recommended Chef / Cleaner Sherilee and she was worth EVERY penny! - Pudens arranged for a boat tour for our group ($50 per person) - Hire a driver for your arrival, departure, and excursion days. You will probably not want to drive the roads yourself. Desiree arranges. This was everyone's first time in Roatan (and some were first time international travelers). We felt absolutely safe, well looked after, and delighted by this location. I recommend this place for adults or older children (preteen up). AMAZING!

If you’ve always wanted to stay on a beachfront property then this is the place! You are literally 30 steps from the ocean. The pictures don’t do it justice! We loved the two patios at beach level. It’s like a private beach because there is no public access. We saw a few people out on the dock to enjoy the sunset, but that was about it. The private dock is one of the nicest on the beach and part is even shaded. We rented kayaks one day and went out to the nearby reef. We felt safe the entire time. This place also has a nice community pool. The kitchen is well equipped and we especially liked the toaster over and Blendtech blender for smoothies. The washer and dryer are a few feet away, there’s air conditioning, filtered water, and comfortable furnishings inside and out. Conrad and Vanessa made our stay enjoyable and unforgettable. We met the nicest people staying in other units who also couldn’t believe how amazing this little community is. We can’t sit to come back! Thanks Conrad!

This gorgeous home exceeded my expectations. It's nestled in the right spot. Not too close to the active nightlife and not too far from the beautiful blue water, white sand beaches. Not to mention the views this house has are to die for! Thank you to our host, very responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at The Mollusk. Our vacation was extended and our previous house could not accommodate us for the extra time. Luckily The Mollusk was available and perfect for our needs. We spent most of our time sitting on the patio or cooling off in the pool watching the boats and distance dolphins swim past. We could not get the apps on the TV to work-maybe a Roku or something could help remedy. The master bed is quite firm, and the other beds very soft. Something for everyone. We enjoyed our stay and recommend highly for those wanting something away from the busy West End/West Bay Area.

Robert was a great host and the villa was really nice and large. Beautiful place to stay overall.

We stayed at Zach's for two weeks at the end of January. We had two families, one of three and one of four, and one additional friend staying. Three boys ages 9, 12, and 14. Plenty of room for all of us. The house was gorgeous, clean, in beautiful surroundings, comfortable beds, and the air conditioning was there to ensure a good night's sleep. The kitchen had lots of room to cook and was well equipped for an air bnb. The pool was wonderful and cleaned every day, although it did hurt the boys' feet a little. Carolina got us anything we asked for. Palmetto bay is a gated community, with a lovely beach and restaurant, and the brewery is just outside. Walking around the community felt very safe, with a lovely trail down to the restaurant and beach from Dos Palmas. We hiked to Mirabella beach and Pristine Bay along the beach. It cost $10 American per person to get anywhere else on Roatan when we got a drive. Bring bug spray and wear long clothes for bugs in evening.

This home was all we hoped for & more! A beautiful setting in the woods, feels private but close enough to walk to the beach. We walked to Dana's most mornings for excellent baleadas. We walked to West Bay to snorkel and explore the beach & restaurants. We enjoyed a great dinner at Ibigari's one evening. The home was exactly as described, and just as it looks in the pictures. The host was kind & helpful. The pool was cleaned several times during the week. We felt safe in the neighborhood. We would definitely enjoy staying in this home again!

Our family of five stayed at Chris’ place for a week. It’s in a quieter place of West End however within easy walking distance of everything needed. Shops, scuba, restaurants etc. We really enjoyed having the pool there to cool off too. I would recommend this area and host to others.
