Cabin holiday rentals in Rollins Reservoir

This is going to be one of those reviews where the place was amazing, but you're almost afraid to let others know how great it was because it will be harder to reserve next time. :) We had a wonderful stay and Jenny and Tim were wonderful, responsive, and helpful hosts (even when one of them was under the weather). The cabin is incredibly peaceful, with a creek running along the back of the property and easy small paths to go hiking down. There is lots of room to spread out inside and the kitchen is both beautiful and easy to use - probably the best appointed kitchen we have ever enjoyed at an AirBnB. Sitting out in the hot tub, underneath a grove of trees and looking out at the snow covered landscape was pretty magical. Lots of bedrooms and bed options and bathrooms on both levels were very helpful too. Could not imagine not going back in the future. Thanks so much, Jenny and Tim!

This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful place to get away.

The location of the rental was very close to a Safeway and a EV charging station. All walkable from the rental.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay at your cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found the location very convenient for accessing Sugar Bowl. You and your team are quick to respond to any messages or calls. The kids had a lot of fun playing upstairs while the adults enjoyed conversations downstairs. The cabin is very clean and was warm upon entering. We will defiantly stay here again. Thank you for the snacks.

Very cozy place, perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days. Internet was a little slow, but it was still good enough for remote work (we didn't try turning video on for our meetings though). We would love to come back here, the hot tub and wood burning stove were great. Chadi was very quick to respond to any questions.

Kalery’s place is super unique with the cabin / yurt combo! The place feels secluded but is a short drive from Grass Valley & Nevada City where there are a ton of restaurants and fun bars. We loved relaxing on the back patio listening to the nearby creek and spending time in the hot tub. The place was super cozy /clean and we had all the info we needed for a seamless stay. Would def visit again!

As just about everyone else who has rented this amazing place, we had a really magical time. This is a beautifully designed space with a lot of details that really make it an exceptional space (taller counters, flush laid doormats, etc). For future guests: there is a bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed. Upstairs in an open loft there is a (queen?) bed and we did ask for the other (double) bed to get setup. The surrounding land is beautiful. The kids loved looking for frogs and lizards and playing basketball. There’s also a gorgeous table outside for eating. Based on just how well outfitted this rental is I’d assume it’s a well used second home. It had everything including a great spice drawer.

The place was absolutely cozy, and the view so pretty. The deer were awesome to see. Plenty of board games to play. The host were so helpful and communicative. When we accidentally left something behind, the host were so helpful to help us to get our lost item back the next day.

Lovely spot, perfect for the "cozy cabin weekend" my family craved. The cabin has many LARGE windows that look out into the trees, lots to amuse one on the property, and great nearby hiking if you're looking to get out. It was spotlessly clean. If you visit at a chilly time of year I would recommend bringing slippers--the cabin heats up well and quickly, but the tile floor stayed cold :)

Cozy little spot tucked away in the woods perfect for disconnecting with family and pups. Timothy was incredibly responsive.

The moment you walk into the Airbnb you can tell that the hosts were thoughtful in creating an aesthetically pleasing spot. It's very quaint and perfect for relaxing outside and enjoying the spa amenities. The outdoor sauna, bath, and table w/ a firepit worked great and were all VERY enjoyable. They are new hosts and they are working out the kinks, but I don't foresee this being an ongoing issue. The hosts are very attentive and open to feedback. The spot is close to Nevada City and has great foot spots. Overall, very pleased!!

A lot of attention to detail was what I noticed. When I arrived, everything I needed and wanted was right there, even things that are important like a super comfortable bed, with high-quality linens. The place was adorable, spacious and relaxing. Perfect for what I needed, I’ll definitely be back again.

This cabin is awesome. The peaceful wooded surroundings are great, the fireplace is nice and comfy, and there’s plenty to do inside the cabin.

My family enjoyed a beautiful and peaceful 4 nights here. The home was clean and stocked with all of the basic necessities. The lake was walking distance and we took all of our things over in the wagon. My two dogs had fun sniffing around the property and discovering all of the tennis balls left by previous furry friends. Had some deer visitors on one of the evenings. Overall a lovely stay!!

Really enjoyed our stay. Nothing like being in God’s country. The place had everything we needed and Trish was very responsive to any needs we had. Thank you again!

We had a wonderful time at this adorable cabin. It was so cozy and perfect for a little family getting away. It made a huge difference for us that it was pet friendly and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly! We felt right at home! We look forward to going back again someday!

Wow! From the first email communication, mid-trip question response, and simple check out directions Lisa was excellent. The house was easy to get to, beautiful inside, spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, fully stocked with supplies for cooking and baking. The host went above and beyond including a personalized welcome note, some goodies, and even had coffee and hot chocolate. My friend said “I’ve never felt so welcome!”. There were 4 adults and 3 children in our party and there was PLENTY of room for all of us to have our own space. The tri-level configuration is pretty cool but also accessible as the main portion of the house is on one level. Beds/mattresses are comfortable and comforters are nice and warm. Rooms with luggage rack and closet space was appreciated. Everything is well thought out in this house including the mudroom area to drop all the snow stuff on the way in. We enjoyed a day at Kingvale Sno Park and really appreciated that it was only 15 min away.

Beautiful cabin location for my family trip during the holidays. It was nestled among a creek and woods and it was very peaceful and cozy. Would love to come back in the summer and go kayaking. It was unfortunately raining hard during our stay but we had much to do inside with games, a fireplace and going into downtown to visit the numerous cute shops. Overall loved our stay!

Very cute and cozy place in a forested neighborhood. Valerie was an excellent host - clear communication, flexible, and went above and beyond by offering to accommodate us after a change in plans.

Our winter getaway at this cabin exceeded all expectations. The warm and cozy atmosphere made for a perfect retreat, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate our group of four adults and three children. The spacious layout allowed everyone to both rest and enjoy themselves. The surroundings were serene and peaceful. Based on our wonderful experience, we wholeheartedly recommend this cabin.

a unique little cabin, out in nature. clean and cozy! short drive from town. great view of the property from the balcony. the host was very nice and responded to us promptly and courteously. we got frequent visits from the very sassy cat. very comfortable and far enough from the beautiful, historic small town to feel like we where in nature but close enough to enjoy what the community had to offer with a short drive. we will absolutely use this space whenever we are in the area! highly recommended!

We had a great time at this cabin! It was absolutely beautiful. First night there was hardly any snow and the second night it was snowing all day and was an absolute winter wonderland. I highly appreciate the snow plow on the road to get us safely back to highway 80. Friendly neighbors too, hi Randy!
