What a beautiful place, and what a view! We definitely didn’t stay long enough and if they’ll have us back, we’d like to stay longer next time. Martin & Claire were fantastic hosts and made my family feel so welcome. I really appreciate all the efforts they went to for us and we really loved our stay. I had a wonderful, very relaxing, break at Rock Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable, bright and cosy, the grounds are beautiful, and Jacqueline and Jonathan were excellent hosts. This is a great location for exploring stunning west Cork, there are many excellent walks nearby and the beautiful Ballyrisode beach is a must see..and swim. Schull is a lovely town, as is Bantry, and everyone I met was friendly. I will be back.

Wonderful stay! The house was spotless, surrounded by beautiful nature, and incredibly peaceful. The host was kind, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

West Cork holds a special place in my heart, this little cabin made our stay very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Looking forward to seeing Matts Firepit in the future. The site is clean with modern conviences.

Phil greeted us when we arrived and showed us our place. He gave recommendations for food and live music in town. The views were spectacular, and there were chairs outside to sit and admire the property and views. Very quiet and private. We had a little issue with the dryer, and Phil was immediately responsive and helpful! Would return here if we are back in the area.

This place was a home from home for us! We were able to come in and feel right at home, relaxed after a long journey and close to those we’d come to visit. We were 2 adults and 4 kids aged 4-11. They loved this house and garden. They had the safety and freedom to play and enjoy the beautiful day/evening. Ger was wonderful and kept in contact, even coming to visit us to ensure we were happy. Instructions left were clear, and the house is beautiful. We were gutted to leave in our travels. But as my family live near by this place will become a yearly regular!

This house was perfect for our needs. As a large group of adults, the number of en-suite rooms was great. The house had a wonderful large kitchen/living space, perfect for gatherings. The house was warm and beds were comfortable. Barbara was quick to respond and very helpful with our check-in and check-out arrangements. There was plenty of equipment and a well stocked cupboard of herbs and spices and odd bits that you need but don’t want to buy just for a few days. The location was perfect - 10 min walk to the centre of Bantry and the views are amazing from the house (despite the rain). We will definitely be back.
