Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ruhr

Michael was a wonderful host and quickly responded to our messages. The home was beautiful and was in a lovely neighborhood within walking distance to the Zons old town. We enjoyed our stay!!

Beautiful, well-kept country cottage, not far from Schmallenberg. We lacked nothing - we were even helped out with a box of beer on the holiday. Host and accommodation, we can fully recommend. Best regards

A super loft looks exactly the same as in the photos. Worth every penny, would come back again and again.

It was quite easy to find, the host was very kind and met us around 20:30. The place itself was spotless clean and had everything that was listed. Additionally, the kitchen, bathroom and sauna were pristine cleaned. The glass in the bathroom was so clean for a moment we thought that were was no glass. Sauna was excellent and we even started a nice little fire one day. Very peaceful with allot of opportunity for hiking and nature. And very easy connection to Dusseldorf via the train with free parking at the train station in the small town. Would go back again without a doubt.

Enchanting cottage,quiet location and great furnishings! There's nothing missing. With lots of spiritual touches, a magical little oasis has been created. Just something else very clean with a wonderfully comfortable bed. We felt very comfortable and so did our 🐾dogs ❤️clear recommendation ❤️👌👌👌👌👌

We were 4 people, and we had a lot of fun. The place was squeaky clean, and the scenery was beautiful, just as advertised. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We had a great time and will definitely visit again!

Relaxing short weekend in a beautiful location Silvia is a very accommodating and helpful host. We had a quick one in the morning and she really immediately sent a handyman over who got the heaters and the wifi back in. We were even allowed to check in earlier and stay longer🙏🏼. The apartment is located in a unique location directly in nature. We were able to start with both dogs right from the front door. Beds were very comfortable. We slept very well in the fresh linens. We needed accommodation for a wedding in the nearby Nahmer Hall and stayed with four people at Renate's. The apartment is located in a very nice old building with a lot of charm. Everything was clean and the arrival and departure straightforward. Street parking was sufficiently available. Happily again!

We enjoyed staying with Kevin very much. We found the apartment as described, everything was clean and well maintained. Sauna and pool were a dream after a long day out on the slopes. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Only in the kitchen equipment we missed things such as garbage bags, pot sponge, baking paper, and were also unable to shop on Sundays. I would recommend the place at any time, and would love to come back.

We stayed here with my boyfriend for a night. Thomas place was super clean with everything that was needed. Also the communication with Thomas was really quick and he explained in details everything for a smooth check in and check out. You are coming to ski? The house is 5 min away with auto from the Ski lift. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. The information on arrival was absolutely sufficient and all the information needed for check-in (key box, pin, etc.) was completely sufficient without any inquiry on my part. The kitchen is very large and lovingly furnished, here you should find everything you need for your (possibly longer) stay. Shopping is also in walking distance. The living room is comfortably furnished and offers everything you need. Even a fireplace is available. The bedroom is also very spacious and super functionally furnished, nice that the furnishings were thought of here and so the guest is not missing anything. The bathroom is accessible by stairs to the ground floor and just as clean and well furnished. Communication with the host was also top notch. All in all, I highly recommend the property and should I stay in the area again, I will definitely come back to the apartment.

Just great. Communication was great from booking to departure, straightforward and fast. The connection to Cologne was straightforward. Frank and his wife were very nice. Should we visit this area again, we would check in again at any time.

Everything was perfect, the house was very spacious and functional. Having it's own private garage is a nice plus. We received very quick answers to all our questions.

The house was great. We had a lot of space and the decor was very well maintained. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay for a large group. Thanks Paul, he was also always very quick and easily accessible.

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

We had a great stay. The house is very nice and the open fireplace is really the best for spending the cold winter evenings. The ski slopes of Winterberg are just a few minutes away, but there are plenty of other things to do in the surrounding area. We simply loved it.
