Villa holiday rentals in Runovići

We felt so welcomed by our hosts at their beautiful, modern villa. It had everything we needed and the perfect amount of space for us (family group of five). The heated pool and large hot tub were perfect, as were the numerous outdoor seating spaces (enabling us to really enjoy the warm weather). Our hosts were very hospitable and were responsive to any questions that we had. They provided us with lots of information about the local places of interest including restaurants and also very generously brought us a home cooked meal of grilled fish with traditional side dishes and home produced wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the opportunity to experience this part of Croatia. An excellent property with generous and hospitable hosts.

I don't know why this place isn't fully booked by default. It's not recommended for a single couple, but once you're out with another couple or more, this place is perfect. The welcome of Tereza and her family was super warm. Wine, sausage, bread and cola were already ready. Tips on the surroundings were given and we were also drawn to the attention of the holidays. The place itself looks exactly like the pictures and has even more charm in real life. We didn't use the normal kitchen at all, but just the outdoor kitchen. A dream! This place is perfectly equipped. BBQ tongs, plates and various glasses, all available. So I asked about spices, Tereza even bought us extra in advance and put it there. We don't have a single point of criticism yet and will definitely visit this gem again! Fantastic and recommended to everyone!

We booked Villa Nina for our first holiday in Croatia. We were delighted with the accommodation, the hosts have truly thought of everything and made our stay very comfortable. Additionally, Ivan was so helpful with recommendations and local knowledge. We would highly recommend and would love to return one day.

Our stay at Ana's new house was memorable. The pool, outdoor area, and playground were perfect for our families, allowing the kids to play while adults unwinded. Ana greeted us warmly with local cured meats and cheeses and provided great advice throughout our stay. The house was clean and matched the Airbnb photos. We enjoyed meals in the outdoor dining area with a full kitchen and grill, and the indoor kitchen was well-equipped too. Though a small part of the backyard and heating system was unfinished during our August 2024 visit, they should be completed soon. Set in a rural area, the house is just 25 minutes from the nearest beach and located in a great wine region. We also explored Bosnia Herzegovina, finding it wild and beautiful. We took day trips to nearby beaches and towns and would gladly return to Ana's house to explore more of Croatia and relax.

A must-stay! We enjoyed our time very much at this house. For one week we were living like royalties (it felt like). A wonderful pool, our own barbecue place and such a spacious villa. Beautiful trails right outside the house and the most amazing view. In addition Josko and his wife were excellent hosts, beyond what you can expect. Cannot brag about this place enough!

Our group, consisting of 12 people, felt completely comfortable in the accommodation. We didn't miss anything. Dada and her husband were extremely friendly and accommodating. The place itself is a dream, especially the spacious pool and sauna, which we particularly liked. There is also a nice, covered barbecue area right next to the pool house. The pool house has a well-equipped kitchen and ample storage space for drinks and food supplies. A highlight was the converted basement of the pool house, from which you have a fascinating view of the pool through a large window. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we can recommend the place in good conscience.

We have just returned from a family holiday in Mila's villa. The local area is lovely, 2 of the family had taken road bikes with them and found some fantastic cycling routes - not flat! It took us about 45 minutes to get the beaches but the highlight was our swim in the blue lake. Pristine water and definitely worth the trek up and down. Mila's villa has a beautiful pool and the table tennis was well used. A great outdoor eating area and BBQ too. All in all, what more could we have asked for! Thank you Mila

We enjoyed the time in Villa Lucella very much. We were 9 people, although the villa also offers relaxed space for 10-15 people. The accommodation with all the amenities corresponded 1:1 to the expectation and the pictures. Everything was very clean and modern. The landlord's parents live next door, which we perceived as rather positive and uncomplicated. We particularly liked the great sports facilities (beach volleyball, tennis incl. floodlight), which we used intensively as well as the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. We were also pleasantly surprised that each room had its own bathroom. The only negative criticism is the repeated smell of smoke in one of the bathrooms in connection with the grilling (came through the ventilation). All in all we had a great and uncomplicated week and would be happy to come back.

What an amazing holiday we have had! A family of 13 ranging from 60 down to 1 and there was space and fun for everyone. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped and very clean. We were celebrating my husbands big birthday so, to gather the family and enjoy quality family time we definitely picked the right destination! Coinciding with the Olympics we held our very own, from swimming competitions to table tennis and badminton tournaments, such a great touch to have these added activities. The little ones loved the play area too. Mijo treated us to a mouthwatering meal one evening which went down very well! Ivanka, next door, was lovely and treated us to her chickens eggs and some wonderful cakes. Marko was so responsive to liase with and gave us some great recommendations. We had an amazing speedboat trip to Brac and Stari Grad in Hvar from Split and that was a true highlight of our trip to Croatia. All in all the best holiday, in the best accommodation with the cleanest pool!

A beautiful villa, situated about 6 minutes drive from Markaska, up the mountain road towards Biokovo National Park. The view from the upstairs balcony and downstairs patio, is staggering. You are looking straight across the Adriatic towards Brac and Hvar and treated to the most picturesque sunsets every night. The villa itself is very comfortable and spacious and completely private. It was clean to the highest standard and has an extremely well equipped kitchen, making self catering easy and enjoyable. Hosts, Marijana and Marin are very kind and helpful with suggestions for good beaches. The nearby supermarkets in Makarska are high quality and make catering for all dietary needs easy. There are three restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the villa. Veza and Jabuka were our favourites. There are stunning beaches within a 30 minute drive. Clean beaches and crystal clear water - great for snorkelling. 100% recommend this property and hope to return in the future.
