Holiday rentals in Rushmere

This is the PERFECT RIVERSIDE STAY! Even in the epic cold of winter we loved this little bungalow. The hot tub was perfect, and from a person who ACTUALLY cooks the kitchen was well appointed. I have stayed in many Airbnb's and this was one of the best. Enjoy

We had a wonderful stay! Very close to the beach and park. Our 3 year old had a blast with the toys and books! LOTS of extra conveniences - they thought of everything. You really only need to pack your clothes - they have everything else covered. Even our dog had the conveniences of home. The mattresses were very comfortable. The outdoor shower was clean and very helpful. We would also recommend renting the golf cart - super handy! All and all a great place to stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday week at this home which was one of the more spacious homes we’ve stayed at in Cape Charles. Maria was extremely responsive and helpful. Our grandkids especially enjoyed the kids toys and books and we had fun with the wall scrabble game.

Stayed here for a gymnastics competition at the convention center instead of dealing with hotels. Very nice and straightfoward place to stay. Mark and Alison sent messages with all the information I needed. Nice beds with mattresses above what you might find in most places(much appreciated). Many nice small touches in the kitchen and bathrooms(one for each bedroom was nice). Very close to attractions but just far enough away to not be 'too close'. Very short walk to the beach when the weather is good for it. Close parking and single floor good for elderly parent(s). Will definitely check availability when I need to head back to VA Beach. Philip & Katie's tiny house in Cape Charles is the perfect spot to hibernate in bed or on the couch with a book and coffee or wine for a relaxing weekend away from your laundry, chores, and errands. It's also an easy and pretty walk into downtown to hit up restaurants and shops. It fit the bill for me perfectly - super cozy and clean and sweet.

The place was exactly as described. It was perfect for our small family get away with 2 small grandchildren. Cheryl communicated all details well and continued to check on us. Definitely recommend this place.

Such a gem! This is the perfect airbnb for a bestie’s trip or a trip with your significant other. The bathroom was stocked with needed toiletries, and the kitchen had all the stuff you needed for a good cup of coffee. Extra blankets were provided, and it was overall a very cozy space.

House was great and in a great location. We had two families of four and there was plenty of room for everyone. Close proximity to the local park/playground, beach, and restaurants/stores. Off street parking was a plus. Highly recommend and will likely book this house again for future vacations.

I just wanna start by saying, Tiffany, is amazing! She responded almost instantly and was extremely helpful. I spent the weekend there with my parents and my siblings with their families. My mom who is wheelchair bound, found the place to be very comfortable. I asked Tiffany about wheelchair accessibility and she gave the suggestion to bring a small ramp as there are two steps in the front as well as a step to get in the house. It worked out just fine. Also, if you have children, the place has a bedroom with two bunk beds, and an area in the upstairs hallway with a couch that can be adjusted to sleep on. Also wanna add that, we were running late with the checkout time due to the fact that it isn't easy getting my mother out of the house and she gave us extra time without charging extra!! With that being said, I would highly recommend this hidden gem. It is a beautiful location, spacious, clean, and has a great understanding hostess. Thanks!!
