Holiday rentals in Rusutsu, Abuta District

We had an amazing stay at Blue’s place! From the start, Blue was very accommodating—every request was granted, and all our communications were promptly answered. The check-in process was smooth, with clear instructions, and the appliances were easy to use, though having English labels on all of them would have made things even more convenient (thankfully, Google Translate helped!). The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Susukino downtown, with convenience stores on both sides, making it perfect for families and groups of friends. The space was generally well-kept and comfortable, though I’d suggest reducing the bed capacity in the family room to make it feel less cramped. One more suggestion: providing a Japanese address for guests to show to taxi drivers would be really helpful to avoid confusion with other AMS buildings. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and I’d love to book this place again on my next visit. Thank you.

Rod and Bel are very nice. Smooth communication. Perfect place to stay. Easy check in and check out. The drying closet is very handy and effective. We got everything we need during our stay. Next time we travel to Niseko, we will stay here again.

It was a private location in a quiet area of Lake Toya.Lake Toya could be seen from the room, and Sunrise and Sunset, especially on sunny days, had a special time. The interior was also thoughtful, and it was tasteful and clean.It was also equipped with all the amenities.There were not many restaurant options, and there were cooking utensils, and I was able to cook my own meals.The bed was firm and I slept well. It was a very relaxing place to escape the hustle and bustle of Lake Toya Onsen and Niseko.It was a convenient place to drive to Niseko (45 minutes) and Rusutsu ski resorts (20 minutes). The owner told us about recommended cafes, hot springs, etc., and responded immediately in case of trouble, which was very kind and I was able to stay with peace of mind.In addition, it was convenient to write in English and Japanese, such as nearby information and precautions, so that it was easy for guests to understand. We had a relaxing time in a nice place and were very satisfied with our stay. Next time, I want to come in the summer and enjoy the nature of Lake Toya!! I would definitely come back here.

This property was such a hidden gem. Quiet, serene location, gorgeous cabin with historic furnishings, and an incredible private Onsen. The architecture of the cabin was lovely, and a standout highlight was the amazing and well-equipped kitchen. It was SO nice to have tea and meals by the wood stove. Was the perfect getaway after a long day of skiing. Would definitely love to come back!

Craig’s place is in the perfect location to explore Niseko’s ski areas, including Niseko United, Moiwa, Rusutsu, etc. Craig is an experienced local and is happy to share knowledge. Craig lives on site, and was very communicative to make our stay wonderful. Great cabin in the woods for a relaxing experience.

I stayed with 5 people this time, but the interior was very spacious, clean, and I had a comfortable stay.The host responded quickly and was very helpful.

I cannot say enough good things about Aki’s fabulous house! If you want to feel like a local and have all the comforts of home, this is the place for you! It’s beautiful, clean, great location, full kitchen, fantastic bathroom, stunning views, everything you could want from a vacation house in Hokkaido. The booklet provided with local recommendations was the icing on the cake. Definitely check out the yakitori restaurant mentioned. We felt close to great ski areas and loved waking up to watch the waves crashing over the snow covered beach. She was a kind host and even brought us snowshoes to borrow for a fantastic adventure through a local park. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities needed to make a great meal. The house is toasty warm (we visited in January and most days it didn’t get above 2C), the living room is cozy (great for reliving tales of the jpow after a cold day skiing). The beds are very comfortable and warm. We truly had a great few days, thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Cabin had everything we needed and was close to the free shuttle and close enough to walk into main Hirafu. Great stay!
