Cottage holiday rentals in Rye

Our two families had a lovely stay at Florence’s place. Highlights included quick and easy access to beautiful Somers beach and forest trails, expansive outdoor space complete with jacuzzi, firepit, large picnic table and native gardens and finally, high quality linens, furnishings and kitchen items. Highly enjoyable, thank you!

Had a very relaxing stay. The cottage is very private and well maintained. It is a 10 minute drive to Rye shopping strip. Will definitely book here again.

Second stay for our family of 6 at Alexandra’s place in Somers (VIC). Like last time, the place was extremely clean and well appointed. Alexandra provided added essentials too that most Airbnb’s don’t - Cooking oils, herbs, spreads, eggs, assorted teas, coffee, hot chocolate, ample toilet paper, dishwasher & washing machine powder to name a few. Not forgetting the complementary bottle of wine and a large jar of minties. The spa was clean, hot and comfortably fitted all of us. A quiet area and a very easy walk to the beach. Comms were good and nothing was ever a problem. Highly recommend - we’ll be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sea Salt BNB! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby beach and local attractions. We especially loved the charming decor and the little touches that made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing escape!

Absolutely lovely Villa to stay in. Everything you could possibly need in one lovely space. Alison is very responsive with questions and communication. The villa is in a perfect location and is quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again. Thankyou for an effortless holiday!

A perfect getaway from it all... We stayed 6 nights with 2 teenage girls, and 2 dogs. The garden is huge, the beds are comfy, the Bay Trail and beach are 15 mins away on foot, and the beach is dog friendly before 10am and after 6pm. The house has all the little things you need on holiday when you want to cook a little but relax a lot! We didn't want to leave :) A home from home.

We had the best long weekend at Nicole's house! Immaculate condition, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen, BBQ and the loveliest terrace! It was very hot during our stay, but we could cool down in the shade of the stunning garden. Plenty of space for a family of five. Nicole is a very generous and responsive host. Can't thank you enough! We'll definitely be back.

We’ve stayed on Phillip island a few times and always rated highly. This stay stood out because of the location with a short walk to beach and Cowes. It also had a secure backyard with a high fence and nice undercover space, which was great for sitting outside of for our dogs.

We had such an wonderful time at Kay's cottage. The cottage was beautiful, inside and out and our host made everything so easy - from an early check-in, easy to follow instructions and a great household manual. We arrived with three kids and three dogs in tow. The kids enjoyed playing the piano each day and then heading outside in the yard to play with the dogs. The yard is so pretty, completely secure and very private. We enjoyed eating our meals in the lovely outside dining area and spending our evenings in the cozy living room reading books. Minutes from the beach and shops - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are beyond grateful to Kay for her hospitality! xx Felicity & Shane

A charming, relaxing location close to shops, cafe and beach (walking distance). Space for two cars. Comfortably fit 5 adults and a child. Our host was accommodating and provided ample recommendations for local things to do. We hope to stay again in future.

We had a wonderful stay at Gemma and Bretts house. It has everything we needed! Also very well equipped with baby essentials. Cot, high chair etc. Would highly recommend staying here and we'll certainly be back!

Shelley's beach shack was an absolute delightful surprise! The decor, the cosiness, how close it is to the beach! We will definitely be back - thanks Shelley, we had the best weekend!

Penny's place was in a perfect location in Rosebud, with an easy 5 min walk to the beach. It was a special place with lots of character, and had everything you need for a beach weekend away. Beds were very comfy too!

We loved White Cottage and wish we could have stayed longer. It's charming, enchanting, and beautifully appointed. We love the setting and being surrounded by nature with that spectacular view of the ocean! The owners and the host were fantastic and made our arrival an departure super easy. The gardens and the setting were spectacular and the house was super clean and comfortable. If we ever venture down under again, I hope we get the chance to come back and visit more of the amazing wineries and explore more of what the Morning Peninsula (south of Melbourne) has to offer.

Great house to stay in a great location, would recommend

This was a fantastic stay at this gorgeous house beautifully situated in Rye. Very well equipped accommodation with lots of entertainment and amenities. A personal highlight was the outdoor shower! Georgia and Sam were very helpful with check in instructions and responding to enquiries.

Lovely cottage with peaceful surroundings. Had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Janet was really helpful, responsive and gave local insight to wineries/activities.

It was a lovely place to stay. Clean, tidy and toddler friendly with not a lot of unnecessary things to get into, which was appreciated! Rooms were a decent size and had space for setting up our portacot without having to move furniture. Michael was kind and responsive. Would stay here again.

This may be the best Airbnb that I have stayed in, and I don’t say that lightly. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, the cottage itself is idyllic, and I don’t have a bad word to say. Greg and Jane were the best hosts that we could ask for, and they were so thoughtful with the amenities in the cottage. They even brought us food to feed the stars of the show - Zeus and Rocket Man.

The place was nice, quiet and clean. A bit far away from the beach and the main road though. A drawback is the lack of WIFI and poor 5G signal. Overall is value for money if u want to disconnect from the day-to-day hustle.

A lovely, homely property in a v quiet area. We loved the upstairs living space and balcony. The view was incredible. The lads enjoyed the table tennis table. Lots of activities provided by the host too. A real home from home- v tastefully furnished. 10 min walk down to the beach was also a winner.
