Holiday rentals with lake access in Saint-Jean-d'Angély

Impeccable house for a stay with the family. We had the we of the ascent. Very quiet and close to the center and the beach on foot. A pleasant walk of 15 minutes and we arrive at the beach of St Palais passing through the park and its large pond. Nice environment. Very well-equipped house. The rooms are large. The nice garden. Terrace covered by a little preau. Very nice in the evening. Xavier from the concierge welcomed us very well. Great stay

The listing was true to the listing or even a thousand times better! The space is so well-equipped. Angélique and Anaïs' kindness are good for the heart. The residence is quiet, clean & close to good restaurants, the beach, oyster barracks. I highly recommend it!

We had a lovely family stay in St Palais. The accommodation was very good, well located not far from the sea and the Trail des Douaniers, perfect for reaching the beaches and walking with the dogs. We also received a great welcome from Agnès 🙂

The house is beautifully located with nice sea view from the terrace at the front and very quiet terrace at the back. The surroundings are also very quiet, which we enjoyed very much. The house completely matches the description and the pictures on the website. The house is very extensively equipped and there are also many nice extras available in the garden such as a beach umbrella, body boards, bicycles, ... The wifi in the house worked smoothly, which especially the children could appreciate.

Nicolas and Gaëlle are great hosts. The accommodation is very pleasant in a quiet and green environment (by the river, outdoor lounge, barbecue) with lovely goat neighbors. I would highly recommend it.

We had a glorious stay at Patrick's place. As 3 families with young kids, it was a perfect combo of 'having our own space' while having lots of communal space and a big family feel. Everything was in great shape and it was truly peaceful. Philippe was really friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!

Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. Thank you!!

Louise and Mickael hosted us very well, with a bottle of white wine and cold beers! Very much appreciated! We had a pleasant week's vacation at Moulin Chaillou. We were able to enjoy the pool, which the children loved (4 years and 1 year). All shops are nearby, the beach is 45 minutes away, as well as the aquarium, etc. If needed, don't hesitate, Louise and Mickael are there to meet your needs.

A nice discovery. We really enjoyed our stay with Dominique and Xavier. The house was very nice and functional. The weather was not suitable and it's a shame because we could have enjoyed the private garden furniture. Xavier is responsive but discreet. We felt right at home. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay at Corinne's house. A haven of peace, silence. Beautiful layout of the house. Each room has a function and allows for privacy. Very large garden. Trees to find shade. I can only recommend the accommodation, the quality of communication with Corinne. Thanks to Corinne for her flexibility and kindness. If I come back to the area, I won't hesitate to rent the accommodation again.

Simon and Sarah are impeccable hosts. The cottage is gigantic and offers an impressive number of activities. You can't be bored, you can't be disappointed. The photos are pretty, but don't do reality justice. The setting is beautiful and exotic. Thank you so much, and I hope to be back soon:)

We spent 2 absolutely amazing nights in this place. The environment is really beautiful, you feel cut off from the world! We would highly recommend!
