Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Mary

Stayed here for a my birthday trip. It’s spacious, clean, comfortable with plenty of towels/ linens and fully stocked for a vacation. Elena was an amazing host- very kind and accommodating. Made sure we were welcomed at check-in and personally handed keys. She even gave me a small gift! She also helped arrange the airport transfer (Manny) who ended up becoming our new friend & driver the entire stay. Cannot thank her enough for going the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The area is very safe and peaceful. Having the golf cart included was a huge benefit since it’s quite inside Jolly Harbor. The golf cart was perfect for getting around in the complex, going to the beach, getting groceries, etc. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Antigua, home away from home, this is great. I’d definitely book again.

Akeem & family are kind people and their place was our sweet little island home away from home. I loved being a 10 min drive to Darkwood Beach, a true gem in all ways. Clear water, light tan sand soft beaches, great food and drinks at adjacent Darkwood Beach Restaurant. In the home, stunning sunlight streams in during the day- I found that the place even more beautiful in person though the photos are accurate, the sunlight's amazing! The beds were comfortable and I hardly used the Air Condition at night at all - as the temperature was perfect after the sun went down and I loved listening to the chorus of insects and creatures through the window. They went above any beyond with a little welcome basket of chips, white wine, and two large bottles of water. My father and I stayed there and it was a really special trip. We enjoyed tea and oatmeal on the little front porch and really loved meeting the sweet puppy and neighbors across the street. Thank you, Akeem! Hope we may return some day!

We enjoyed our stay at Oceanna's place. We sat outside every morning watching birds while we ate our breakfast, including fresh mangos from a tree in the yard (Also fresh thyme and basil for some evening pasta). Easy walk to Turner beach. To avoid walking on the main road, cross over at the corner store to boot hill rd (see google maps). The dirt road goes right to a quiet, slightly unkempt bay. When you get there, on the right, is a gate to the closed Pelican Villas, just to the right of the gate is a short path that leads across the point and down a few steps to Turner beach. If you are here on Friday, there is a young lady that sells food from a stall right opposite the corner store. We had her roti which was great! The corner store has canned food, dried goods, jugs of water, etc and cold beer. Also for great local food, if you go to Darkwood beach, Aunty Cavell's had delicious oxtail or goat curry, and the best rum punch on the island. We took the local bus #22 from St John's.

Villa Sofie was amazing! Sofie & Devon went above & beyond to ensure that everything was perfect & they facilitated us with any request we had. location is walking distance to Jolly beach which is extremely beautiful & grocery, restaurants etc. the Villa is outfitted with everything you would need & more, meticulously cleaned & maintained. we truly had a great time here & would return or recommend to anyone.

Our stay at Bay House was exactly what we expected, based on what we saw and learned about the property prior to arriving. Emalyn, the property manager, was fantastic with getting us checked in and informing us of everything we needed to know. The property is very well maintained and has beautiful landscaping. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The restaurants across the street and the grocery store just up the road are super convenient. Howard coordinated the reservation of a rental car for us upon arrival at the airport, and both the pick-up and drop off went very smoothly. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this property and owner!

We loved the apartment- it was super comfortable and really well stocked. The location was fantastic with the beach a 5 minute walk and the supermarket, bars and restaurants about 10 minutes.

The boat house was such a great choice in a stunning location. We had an en-suite for each of our three adult couples and we also made full use of the outdoor space which is great for sunbathing and watched the various boats go by. There’s a fully equipped modern kitchen and a TV with access to all uk channels. Jolly Beach is fab, and there are so many others just a few miles up the coast. We hired a car to explore which we would highly recommend doing to enjoy the lovely beaches and scenery. Lesley and Keith were great hosts and made sure everything was very easy for us, we are very happy to highly recommend the boat house and Jolly Harbour as a great location to enjoy a fantastic holiday.

A slice of local living in Antigua! Kat and Trev were oh-so-warm and welcoming. They helped me book tours, gave good recommendations on things to do/places to go/taxi drivers to trust, and just made me feel like I was part of the neighbourhood. The suite was immaculate and had everything I needed. Even visits from the household dog and cat, which I loved. The location was a little off the be beaten path, but I think that's what made it special. Not overrun with tourists and felt very authentic. Plus, Crabbe Hill Beach was my favourite beach of all the ones I visited. And Trev makes a good rum punch!

Great find. Place was nice and clean and suited us well. Not much around like shops and restaurants but if you wana get away from it all, this place is perfect.

This place is a hidden gem. Darryl and Daff are extremely kind and interesting hosts. Their stories about the island, the people and the culture are very insightful and make the exploration of the island much more interesting. The location is the best possible one on the island : we had access to all the best beaches , just in close distance. Watching the blue water and the sunset from the balcony was our favorite part. We were having coffee in the morning while watching the humming birds flying around the blooming flowers in front of the balcony. The house has everything that we needed and even more: the beach beds, the snorkeling gears.. they have thought of every detail to make our stay easy and enjoyable. It was one of the best places that we have stayed so far. Thank you, guys. We will be back.

Really enjoyed staying at Cammile’s place, very private and not too much disturbance. She’s a great host, very warm and helpful. Would recommend to everyone.

This place was a home away from home and easy to find . There's AC and huge flat screen tvs in every room. More closet and storage space than you can ever need not to mention an iron and ironing board in each room. After you've spent the day exploring the island wash the day away with the spa shower with the rain forest shower head and multiple nozzles. No need to travel back with soiled clothes the state of the art laundry system will take care of that for you and sing a nice tune when your load is finished. But the icing on the cake is the walk to kfc . Enjoy your big back activities in peace with your 3 piece meal on the porch . Don't feel like eating out feel free to cook an exceptional meal on the 5 burner stove and serve your family on the island while watching TV. I would definitely stay here again .

John and his family were great hosts. We visited many locations around the island. We rented a car and had no problems getting around and using google maps. We drove to most everywhere and it was within 1 hr max. We were close to great resturants and could always find something close to eat within a 5 minute drive. The beaches were close by, and fantastic. The AIr BNB was set up for cooking which we did almost every morning for breakfast and usually would go out during the day, but we also made dinner many nights too. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen living room was comfortable. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms worked out very well for 3 of us.

Great place to stay. Clean comfortable and affordable. A short bus ride or walk to jolly harbour. Michael is an excellent host. Very responsive and helpful. Loved my stay here. Would highly recommend

This was one of the best destinations we have been to and Clare and Matts place really made it our best holiday ever. What an oasis to chill out in after the UK, cool, spacious well appointed accommodation, superb outside space with a lovely clean pool and plenty of loungers to relax on. The beautiful palm tree at the end of the garden was perfect shade in the afternoon sun. Stunning beaches to lay around on and warm clear water to swim and snorkel in. Shirley Heights jump up on Sunday was a must visit and we had a great time there. Andrew

The home looked like it did in the photos. It was clean, had supplies that we would need. Stacy was very responsive and accommodating. The hole is in a great location. It is quiet, there is a grocery store within walking distance; there a fine restaurants in the complex; the are local vendors; it is on the bus route; close to the beach.

I want to thank Althia for working with me and my little family when flight issues arose. Her home feels just like home and my daughter enjoyed her room and space which is exactly want I wanted. Thank you for working with me and making your home feel like my own.

Miss Kathleen greeted me with great kindness. Made me feel like family and made sure I had everything I needed. Very clean and equipped! Star, the cute protective family dog out back didn't interfere with me at all and I actually felt safer with him there. Location is approximately 15 mins drive from town and 20 mins from English Harbour. 30 mins from most beaches. The apartment is connected to the main house via a back shared room you have to pass through to exit. Sometimes Miss Kathleen and her husband have to use or pass through there. The kitchen windows with curtains and kitchen door with a dark tinted window face out into that back room. Doors all locked with keys. There is also a separate detached small home in the backyard where her son lives. This is all just to say that you are not completely locked off or isolated from seeing other people here if thats what you seek. Your bedroom and bathroom are definitely very private and lock as well. Nice overall

Marjorie was incredibly helpful & responsive throughout our stay. There were 4 of us adults and a toddler, the villa accommodated us very well. Located on north finger, recommend a golf cart or car for access to local grocery store and restaurants, but north Jolly Beach is 5 min walk and very quiet and great to swim in. Bonus was lovely beach towels provided by host. All linen and towels were of high quality. We slept so well in the large & very comfortable beds. Kitchen very well serviced, we cooked a lot at home. Unfortunately the fridge broke just before Christmas, this was not a problem as Marjorie sorted this within 24 hours, providing a super brand new fridge, delivery on Christmas Eve. For those who know Antigua, this is not always an easy ask so we were v grateful. We would definitely use this villa again. 🙏🏽 but would spray more repellent next time. It’s lovely being near the water with fabulous and peaceful views over the water but beware of mosquitoes.

Very nice block of 4 apartments set in well maintained grounds and pool. Air con in all rooms which was great. Was a bit tricky to find as there is no clear sign - but easy once you know! We met guests staying in other apartments when around the pool which was really nice, particularly for our daughter who got to play with other children. A short drive to Jolly Harbour where I played tennis and we used the pool and restaurant. There is a nice community down there who’s made us feel very welcome. Best local beach was Ffryes which was great and 5 mins drive. A couple of good restaurants across the road. We were very pleased with our stay, thank you Lavern, Mo & Michelle!
