Cabin holiday rentals in Saint Osyth

We had a great stay, spotlessly clean, cozy and warm. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Beds and quality bed linen were very comfortable. The views were fantastic, even saw a sparrow hawk and deer. Very relaxing…we plan to stay again soon..

Great location for us, out of season so very quiet which was perfect for our weekend away. Short walk to get to the beach and can get up to Cudmore Grove in around 30mins. Site seems very well maintained and secure. Shower water was lovely and hot and the radiators too so we felt warm and cosy while the weather outside wasn’t amazing! We did have a slight issue with getting the hot tub to heat up so couldn’t use it on our first day and it was still a little chilly on the second day but host was very responsive to messages and did her best to help resolve. Overall, we got what was described and we had a great weekend. If I had to be really picky it would be handy if there were more mugs, glasses, plates and cutlery. This may not be an issue if you are eating out but we stayed in for all our meals so had to do a lot of washing up/dishwashing in between! We would recommend, thank you

If you are a wine lover this is the place for you! Very clean and tidy, outside area was spotless! Very private and out of view of the other cabins! Beautiful views of the vineyard which made for a lovely view to read by. Hot tub was lovely but needs a while to heat up due to it being fire heated, but marshmallows while waiting is perfect! The ‘not so mini bar’ was very much enjoyed and we even took extra home! Host was very responsive and helpful for any and all questions! Quite light in the mornings so if you plan on sleeping in, bring an eye mask.

Booked a long weekend away with my husband and two girls and had a wonderful time! I would 100% recommend Wakes Hall Lodges; the location is so peaceful (you wouldn’t even realise there are other lodges nearby!) lovely views as well. Check in was so easy and the lodge was spotless on arrival. The hot tub is a great feature and was so nice to relax in. Really spacious inside and comfy beds. I would recommend eating at the nearby Swan pub- food was great! Will definitely be looking to book again!

We stayed for 3 nights for my husbands 40th with our two boys and had the most amazing weekend! Diana was super helpful from start to finish, even decorating the lodge as a surprise for my husband! The lodge is incredible and so spacious and clean. If we could live here then we would! The surroundings are lovely and we loved the hot tub in the morning and evening. Jess the site manager was always on hand and really lovely, thank you Jess! The best staycation we’ve ever had and will definitely be back! All the best x

We used the cabin as a base for a family wedding. Some very happy hours on the decking with coffee and champagne. Fabulous location with great sunsets and bird life

The caravan was spotless, well decorated, very homely and included everything you could need. It's in a convenient location on site and very roomy inside. The host was really good with communication and made sure to send us everything we needed in advance and checked in with us during our stay. Will definitely be staying again!

Kate was really helpful from the outset. We needed to arrive early and change for a Wedding. Everything was easy and worked perfectly. Great communicator.

Nice little caravan, close to the sea and the entertainment facilities which is ideal.

A beautiful out of the way location set in woodland and open space. A great location to base yourself near to pretty nearby villages and the recommended restaurants. Chris is a lovely host and very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to be helpful and even dried my dogs’ coat for us. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. We will be back!

A beautfiul space, with modern fixtures and fittings. Excellently equipped kitchen. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Very close to Woodbridge, which we cycled to on quiet roads. Fully recommended.

Kim & John were excellent and very responsive hosts. Their farmhouse was very picturesque and clean. Wld love to stay again if we return to Essex.

It was absolutely spotless and very homely. There was lots of storage, we had 3 adults, a child and a baby and we had more than enough space for everything. It had everything we needed from kitchenware to towels and linen We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again. Tracey was extremely helpful and responded straight away when we had questions! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in this area x

Had a lovely time , wish we could have stayed longer very responsive host , very clean , not expensive and exactly as advertised. We were also running a bit late at check out time and the host graciously extended the time at no extra cost … also a cheeky bottle of Prosecco in the fridge which was a nice touch . We will be staying again

A beautifully presented property with extremely comfortable beds! The surroundings were lovely, set in Gussy's family small holding. The hosts were lovely and extremely helpful even taking us to the wedding we were attending free of charge! We would definitely stay again!! Many thanks for a great stay and for the rhubarb!

Scarlet’s caravan is pristine and comfortable plus the outside space is a real bonus. It’s a couple of minutes walk to the seashore which has great views over the estuary with lots of different birds at low tide including oystercatchers, curlews, turnstones and ringed plovers. You can catch the foot passenger ferry from the nearby country park to Brightlingsea which is a great day out. West Mersea is fantastic for seafood - try the Company Shed for sweet tasting oysters and fresh, fresh crab. Scarlet is an excellent host, she even replied to a text from me on her hen night. You can’t ask for more than that! A word of caution, we didn’t read through the full list of amenities so missed that towels are not provided! No criticism of Scarlet, and a lesson to me. All in all a great experience and we would definitely return
