For my first time in barbados this place was perfect for me and would highly recommend it.

When i started looking for a place to stay in for our first time in this beautiful country I really searched so hard! Mrs Gemma's place is extraordinary, as is our lovely hostess. Lorraine was also very wager to help and always responsive. Everything is as described, or even better if I might say. It is the definition of value for money, with beautiful and very inviting surroundings that urge you stay at home even if there is lots to do! We loved that mrs Gemma was right there on the premises, always kind, discreet and ready to help! She just made the experience even better! We will definitely choose the Gem again and recommend to everybody! Thank you so much for this great stay Lorraine and mrs Gemma! Hope to see you again soon!

Lovely, very spacious home which was clean and comfortable for all of us. Julian was extra helpful with considerations for my mother who was in a wheelchair. The home was a 5 minute drive to the airport which was so convenient given various flight itineraries. I recommend it!

We were beyond happy with our stay at Coverley House. With 5 adults & 2 children, the space was perfect & offered plenty of amenities. The pool was a great size, providing endless fun & relaxation. Becky was an excellent host, providing lots of information & great recommendations. She was attentive & ensured we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Harriett, the housekeeper, was incredibly helpful, polite, & a delight to chat with. She made our stay even more enjoyable. We appreciated the beautiful garden, where we could find hummingbirds, whistling tree frogs, fireflies, & the occasional visit from monkeys. It added a magical touch to our holiday. The accommodation is less than a 10-minute drive from the airport, making it very convenient. One of our favourite memories was enjoying sitting out on the porch, listening to the sounds of nature. It was the perfect start/end to each day. Overall we had the most perfect holiday & highly recommend this place for a fantastic getaway.

We had a great week in Barbados. The home had one of the best pools of any place we've ever stayed at (it was very large), and a fully covered patio was perfect to get out of the midday sun and escape the brief showers while staying completely dry. There's an essentially abandoned beach a 200 foot walk away, and if we saw 12 cars drive by the house in an entire week I'd be surprised. It's very quiet...but still within 10 minutes of Six Roads, 15 min of the airport, and anything you'd need. The kitchen was well equipped, the house is comfortable (we put the A/C on a few nights but if it was windy you could just leave everything open). Owners were friendly, the housekeeper Denise was lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for one second.

We had a late flight and needed a place for us and the kids to rest before heading down to stay near our family. The house is in a good location with a petrol station and shop, as well as eateries, in walking distance. Inside was decorated beautifully, everywhere was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. It was perfect for our needs and would be a great space for a longer stay to explore the island.

Sylvia’s place is a little piece of heaven. Not only does the spacious home have everything you need but the back porch views are incredible. We watched locals bringing out their livestock, Sunday afternoon RC flyers, and goats wandering nearby. Watching the sunset from the porch and the stars from the pool deck was such a treat - as was dipping into the clear pool waters continually throughout the day. Within walking distance is Bottom Bay Beach and several house-side bars with friendly owners and patrons. Groceries and anything else needed is only a short drive. Mauva and Phillip were extremely helpful and kind. They greeted us the first day, and bid us adieu on our last. We can’t wait for our next visit to Barbados!

What a gem ….. 10 ++ ! We loved our time at Glenn & Pat’s lovely home in the country! Peaceful, comfortable and cozy with all one needs to enjoy a restful holiday. We enjoyed the visits from Goldie & Harvey ….. well mannered pups indeed and Pat generously shared her delicious baking with us as well. They have thought of just about everything in the apartment to make your stay enjoyable…..sharing great stories and their personal favs for dining out! Do note though that as the location is rural, these lovely restaurants are no more than a 15-20 drive away. Glenn & Pat provided lots of useful information about their area of the island. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts and will look forward to a return visit.
