Great little spot super close to the beach!

Mel was a great host and her place is comfortable for a large group. The beach is super close and there are lots of good restaurants within a ten minute drive. I highly recommend.

Our stay at Hills Pond was wonderful. The weather was not on our side but we were able to make the best of it and had an incredible stay. The location couldn’t have been better and all of the amenities made it the perfect getaway spot. Highly recommend booking a stay at Shannon’s home!

Another wonderfully relaxing stay! We really enjoyed the new screened in porch for morning coffee, late afternoon snacks, and evening games. The rainy days were just as lovely as the beautiful ones. We enjoyed the cozy gas stove on the cooler days, and we just couldn't have been more delighted by the welcome note and gift upon our arrival.

The lakehouse was a lovely place for our family to come together and play games in the game room, do puzzles, enjoy crafts , make meals, and spend some quality time together! Let’s not forget the incredible hot tub and view while relaxing! Three generations enjoying time together and making lots of lasting memories! It was a perfect place to do that!

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

In spite of the temps outside being in the single digits the inside was warm and lovely. The kitchen is big enough to cook a full meal in and the dining area is perfect for sharing a meal or playing board games. We had gorgeous views of the frozen lake from the deck and the screened in hot tub. It feels like your secluded in the woods but were a short drive to restaurants and stores. Carl was friendly and responsive. We had a great time!

The house is definitely as advertised. Our only issue was the fridge is big enough for two people not a house that holds 10. Always having to get ice for coolers was a pain. We also had one issue with water and they were extremely quick to send someone who was very friendly. Would go again if fridge was bigger.

We had a wonderful vacation in NH especially due to the beautiful condo we stayed in. Every morning we took a short walk to the beach at sunrise. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the pool as well. It was a short drive to most places of interest, shops and restaurants. Our host Sue was very responsive via text. The place was clean and full of many things to help make our stay special. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Me and my family had an awesome stay. The house was great with lots of space and places to sleep. We were 8 ppl and there was more than enough room. Garage/game room was awesome I just wish it was insulated with some heat we had to wear our coats to be comfortable, of course the weather was 26F so it was expected. The rest of the house was warm and cozy. I would love to rent this same house in the summer it must be amazing with the view of the lake. One more thing is although there are 2 bathrooms its more like 1 because the second bathroom upstairs has a little door that leads to the room with the 4 beds so the other people not staying in that room didn’t use that bathroom to not get walked in on unexpectedly. Overall I still gave this place 5 stars and it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed and the host is very responsive and accommodating.

Keita's home was beautiful! right next to the river and very peaceful. The space was cozy and perfect for a getaway.

Kevin's place was great! It was a great location to downtown and the mountain. Clean, had extra towels, pillows, blankets, etc. Would definitely recommend Kevin's place to everyone traveling.

Great place to stay. Winter months are definitely quiet, not a bad thing! I would stay here again.

We had rented the house for a girls weekend and were so excited to be right on the beach. The property is great, beautiful view, and perfect for a group with an open living space for socializing. Close to all restaurants and shops - just a very short drive down the road. We rented the property off season, and unfortunately the furnace heat wasn’t working (the mini splits were!). Taylor was extremely responsive, sent someone to the house once it was clear there was an issue, and then was able to remedy quickly - since they have another property (also on the beach!) nearby. Even offering us back some of what we paid originally for the inconvenience. We are very grateful they were able solve the problem so quickly and we still had a wonderful trip with a beautiful property on the beach. I hope we can visit the original home in the future!

Jeff’s place was fantastic, we enjoyed our stay, the view was excellent. The house has everything you need. We would definitely recommend a great place by the beach, lots of walking areas in Ipswich.

This is an older ranch with a spacious kitchen and super comfortable beds. A beautiful beach is steps down the road. It is the first house off the highway, so you may hear traffic noise. There is a dehumidifier, which you will need to turn to the highest setting. The host is friendly and very responsive.

The location was great! Beautiful water views. The pictures in the listing were unclear that the place I was renting was the small house in the middle. It would be great for 1-2 people, but was small for 3-4. It was fine for a quick trip, but would have been cramped for a longer stay. Loved the electric fireplace! A very nice touch!

Beautiful views overlooking river and waterways, with all essential amenities on main level. Home has full set of utensils and pots/pans for cooking in modern and newly renovated kitchen. Beds and mattresses were comfortable. Responsive host. Highly recommend for a family vacation, especially if in the summer when weather is warmer. If I travel to Portsmouth area again, I would stay here again.

Marco’s spot was a nice stopping point for us between Cape Cod and Portland. Comfy, had what we needed. Really close walk to a nice beach, we went there twice. Marco was great to talk to and recommended a wonderful restaurant nearby - had a delicious dinner there. We really liked the vibe of the area.

This house was the PERFECT spot for the annual retreat my husband and I have with our Army family. There were 6 of us, and we ALL agreed this has been the best trip yet. The property, both inside and out, was beautiful and well maintained. No shortage of kitchen ware (we cooked in a lot and needed nothing), towels (both bath and lake), bedding, etc. Anything we might have forgotten was thought of and already there for us. The outdoor bar with music system was a fantastic touch as we spent most of our time outside enjoying the private beach playing corn hole, or just floating in the water. The indoor entertainment center was great for evening movies. Great area as well. We spent a day in Meredith, about a 45 min drive on beautiful back roads. Check-in and check-out were both a breeze, and Anna-Lisa was the ultimate host. Very communicative, responsive, thoughtful, and kind. I'm running out of characters or I would go on and on. Highly recommend this property and it's fabulous host!

The lake house is the perfect place to gather with family and reconnect. My father, brother and me all enjoyed our stay together catching up and walking through the areas woods. Looking forward to next year.
