Tiny house holiday rentals in San Antonio

This is a quaint and quiet retreat in a neighborhood that would be otherwise escape the visitor of San Antonio. I enjoyed, in particular, an interesting conversation with the host and a walk along a creek bed to a nearby restaurant.

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

This is a great place to get away. The house had perfect amenities. The linens were extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The dipping pool was fabulous and perfect size. The location is ideal for all the things around town. Steve and Cindi was very sweet and easy to talk too. The only thing I could say is that the ac unit did not blow very well. Besides that, everything was great.

Maryann’s place was very peaceful and beautiful! We had an occasional bug, but that is to be expected staying in a house with big trees around. The house felt very cozy. Thank you for a pleasant stay Maryann!

Everyone has mentioned peacefulness. Agreed, it's quite, serene, not to far from civilization. It's a small cozy cabin, as such, it is like most small cabins retreats in the Texas hill country. Theyq provided a map, things are in closer proximity than the map makes them appear. That being said, this cabin has the second most comfortable bed I've ever laid on in my 20+ years of vacationing. One of the nights I stayed was a lunar eclipse. Had alarm set, got up, was outside for 10 minutes before that bed called me back. Thank you Catherine and crew for a wonderful stay.

First and foremost, Maggie was an excellent host! Very friendly and helpful throughout all parts of our stay. The area is beautiful! Very peaceful and relaxing, and not too far from the larger towns you may be interested in. The main attraction, Charlie the deer, is very friendly and it was such a neat experience getting so up close and personal with him. He followed us on a walk and enjoyed the variety of treats we gave him (we learned he loves carrots, chips, and ham was his overall favorite!) If you’re traveling with dogs, this is a great place for you. Not only is the area around the house fully fenced in, but there are even nice kennels indoors as well. Our dogs loved the area and getting to run freely, which is hard to find on Airbnb. 100% worth the trip and I highly recommend.

Melody‘s place was very comfortable in a centrally located area. I appreciate it Melody‘s hospitality and I would like to return the next time I’m in the area. I highly recommend Melody‘s place to others!

The cottage is perfect for a a little city getaway. Despite the fact that it is in the backyard of the main house, it does feel private and the host is very much mindful of the desire for privacy from the guests. The hot tub and pool literally 5 steps away from your front door are a really nice perk and it’s a shame the weather did not cooperate in my time there but I’m definitely planning to come back and take advantage of that next time I’m town in better weather! The neighborhood was well maintained and quiet. Definitely a great place and the perfect alternative if you want to stay in San Antonio and don’t want to be in an apartment building.

Debby was a wonderful host! Very flexible on us packing to move out of Texas and letting us repack up our car for an easy haul to New Mexico. Very clean place, wonderful recommendations on dinner and such an adorable place!

I had to come to San Antonio to work the Final Four. Hotel rooms were sparse and expensive. The Almaraz Cottage was a great option. I was able to leave my rental car in the driveway and walk to the events. The neighborhood really feels like it’s seen a lot of growth and improvements. The house was great. My co-workers were jealous. “You got a house?!?” Heck yah! Full kitchen. Giant fridge. Two bedrooms. I was living the life after a long day of filming.

The pictures don’t do it justice, the place is very cute. I would definitely booked again.

This is a real cozy and peaceful place, we felt so secure since the property is gated. I will definitely recommend this place.

Kelly was the perfect host - very easy to communicate with, clear instructions, helpful, and provided breakfast options (which was a nice touch). The apartment is in a carriage house on the alley behind their home with it's own dedicated parking. It's in a quiet neighborhood that has kind of funky vibe with lots of interesting restaurants just a few streets over. You can walk to downtown and the Alamo in about 20 minutes. The apartment was clean and welcoming and was lacking in nothing. The beds were comfortably firm. Would recommend staying here, especially if you intend to explore different neighborhoods, try unique restaurants, and walk a different section of the river walk.

I've been using AirBnB for over a decade and it is no joke to say that this was the best experience I've ever had. Abel was quick to respond, kind, and informative. The bathhouse was a literal dream. The kind with soft focus lenses, ambient string quartets, and a discernable sense of safety and warmth. The stay has an almost treehouse vibe. Oso built it himself and he imparts an aesthetic that is , at once, patchwork yet cohesive. Oso also welcomed us into his home to see the museum like build of his own making. It felt like a room pulled straight out of Meow Wolf. Straight up , I hope the memory of me and my wife's first bath together is the last thing to pass before my eyes as I die. Alone, together, cradled by hot water, cool evening air above us, the warm and faint amber lighting, Miles Davis' "In a Silent Way" softly filling the room from the provided bluetooth speaker, aware of only the now and unburdened by the rest. Had a very comfortable and peaceful stay , Favorite part of the house was the back yard and parking lot. A lot of space . Perfect getaway home to just relax . Definitely a 10/10 in San Antonio

Chill Spot, Amazing Hosts We spent some time at Michael and Nacy’s Airbnb in San Antonio and it was the perfect little escape. Super comfy, super quiet, and just an all-around good vibe. But the real highlight? Michael and Nacy. They’re the kind of hosts that make you feel like you’re staying with old friends - super helpful, genuinely kind, and always going the extra mile without making a big deal about it. If you’re looking for a low-key, cozy place with awesome people running it, this is the spot. Would definitely come back.

10/10, absolutely loved my visit here. I travel to San Antonio frequently for work and have stayed at 20+ different Airbnb's throughout this time. This is by far the best lodging I have booked through Airbnb. Wade is the kindest host I have interacted with, I felt right at home. The cottage itself is very clean, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom/shower is great. All in all, I cannot recommend this property enough. I will most definitely be back, thank you Wade for the great hospitality.

Clean , spacious , peaceful place. Many little extras included. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower and great air conditioner to keep cool.

Casita Azul was perfect for us! The driveway mad for accessibility with an easy walk to the guest house. The space was private and 20 minutes or less from most everything we wanted to do in the city! There was an adorable coffee bar set up, that I nearly sip dry. I went to H E B and brought home 3 lbs of the delectable coffee. I hope Casita Azul is available on our next trip.

Patricia's guest house was truly peaceful and exactly as described. The Trinity University campus and the HEB grocery store are both very close and the surroundings were serene. Patricia truly thought of everything a guest could need, she has hosting down to a a science. Thanks Patricia!
