definitely recommend! 3 bedrooms on the second floor and 2.5 bathrooms in a gated condo with private garage parking. 15 mins to the airport (so you can hear the planes flying over), 30 mins to downtown san jose. house is fully equipped with everything you need. Marco also had great restaurant recommendations. pleasant experience! thank you!

We already stayed in the past and in June we are going back. The place is very nice. The cabins are cozy and well equiped. The place is very relaxing and peacefull. When you enter the property there are a bunch of sweet dogs welcoming you. The climate is beautifil. During the day warm and the nights chilly. There is a small heater in the cabin. Our favorite spot is the balcony. In the area there are some nice restaurants (recomendation is casa Josefina) and some small grocery shops.

I’ll start with what you need to know. Yes, the airBNB is on private 4 acre lot. Yes the room was as clean and well designed as the pictures depicted. Yes there is lots of parking on the property. Yes the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, utensils, plates, cups and extras like sugar, cooking oil and coffee. Yes there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Yes this property is in mountains, but Uber can take you anywhere for cheap. My family and I were lucky enough to book this place for almost 6months. Erika was very attentive and kind to us our entire stay. Sure this is her business, but every exchange felt genuine. My boys absolutely loved being here with so much room to play and run around. Weekly, Ilse and KB switched our linens, gived us fresh towels, cleaned the entire bathroom and swept our floors. Mr. Orlando and Guillermo worked swiftly to address all grounds related issues. This team of four worked really well together to ensure our comfort. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Easy, clean and close to SJO. Nice stop over for 2 couples before early morning flight. Shirley was fast to respond when we booked same day.

I loved Leonardo's stay, we were several friends to party and the place is quite private then we were able to have music and play games, of course with the prudence of not having high volume during the night; the landscape is beautiful and in the morning you can see birds in the front trees, I managed to see a toucan and a falcon. It is also very well equipped, there is everything one may need in the kitchen; the beds are super comfortable and there is good space to accommodate large groups.

WE LOVED THE QUINTA!!! We were 12 seniors and had an amazing time at this beautiful and comfortable property. Francisco was always very responsive and proactive and showed us the place in detail. Ana, the administrator, was so sweet and attentive to our needs and also cooked delicious meals for us. Douglas took care of the beautiful gardens and the pool. We enjoyed relaxing massages. The town is close by and has a good super market and restaurants. We had a lot of fun during our stay and loved the place. THANK YOU all of you for your wonderful hospitality!

This villa was absolutely breathtaking and everything my family and I needed to unwind, refresh and relax after the new year! We loved every single aspect of the house from the comfortable bedding, the well stocked kitchen, the relaxing jacuzzi with the amazing views, private balconies for us to unwind privately and let me not even get started on the outdoor showers. If you've never taken one - book this house NOW! It is unmatched. We traveled to CR with my parents, husband and 2 year old and everyone lived their best lives. Anne-Caroline was great with her communication leading up to the trip. Oscar, the in country host was amazing for knowing exactly where to take us to eat, see animals, which beaches to visit and more. He drove us around safely and shared a ton of local knowledge with us. We will absolutely be returning to this villa in the near future and cannot wait! This place was stunning, peaceful and secluded. Now, keep that in mind when booking your stay, the place is remote and the nearest store is a short drive away, so plan accordingly. We coordinated a chef and massage services to come to the property, and the hosts were accommodating of this arrangement. There are a few lizards and geckos that come and visit the property. Overall a fantastic experience with this property and we would recommend to anyone visiting Costa Rica

An Unforgettable Experience – Thanks to Mafe! Mafe was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we booked, she went above and beyond to help us plan every detail of our trip. She assisted with our itinerary, arranged transportation with a reliable driver, and answered all our questions with lightning speed. Her communication was top-notch—always just one message away! When we arrived, Mafe was there to warmly welcome us and give us a full tour of the villa. And WOW—the villa! It was hands down the most beautiful property I’ve ever stayed at. Immaculately clean, incredibly spacious, and absolutely stunning in every way. Every corner felt like a dream. This trip was unforgettable, and Mafe played such a huge role in making it perfect. I just want to first start by saying THANK YOU MARVIN! Marvin is the ground keeper that is constantly a major help. He checks in via what’s app if we need anything. He was attentive , welcomed us at the door. He always responded quickly and was very communicative. As a group of ladies he ensured we were home save so he can lock the gate. ERIC the chef was amazing! Very accommodating and helpful! He can get down on the grill and kitchen! ROBERTO (host) is very at communicating and sharing excursion details and ideas to do in the area. The road to the home is very rocky and on a dirt hill but once you pass the rocks and dirt the home is amazing!

My experience was WONDERFUL, the beautiful place and the spectacular hosts, they were always on the lookout for everything we needed. The amazing place to spend as a family, comfortable, has everything you need and more; the very comfortable beds, the pool area features refrigerators, speakers, charcoal and gas grills. Expanded parking and an amazing security system; also very safe and we were able to bring our pets. Definitely a place I recommend and the one we had an amazing time with. Thank you so much for making our unique experience.

The Best!! We stayed here as a family of 10, ages almost 2 to 70 years. First of all, the place is very spacious and clean, has comfortable beds, large rooms and a huge kitchen. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed morning coffee there. Eduardo was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. In addition, the live in housekeeper is super friendly! Our family loved our time there. Again, the Best!!

This is a lovely historic villa on a large, gated acreage. There is clearly an interesting history to this property, and we encouraged the owners to share it with their guests. It is very private and in an upscale part of San Jose with access to good restaurants. Because the home is over 100 years old, it feels vintage on the inside, but for us that was a good thing. We just stayed there one night before departing for the US the next day. It is very spacious, and the pool area is an impressive place to relax. We did have an issue with hot water, but the maintenance staff fixed it within an acceptable time and they were flexible with checkout to ensure we had time for hot showers. I believe just two of the rooms had room-air conditioners. The others had fans, so it could get warm at night depending on the weather, though we were comfortable. It can be a little difficult to find, so just be sure to read the instructions provided by the host. I definitely recommend this unique property.

A Truly Exceptional Stay at Villa Serafina! From the moment we arrived at Villa Serafina, we were in awe of the stunning surroundings and the incredible hospitality. The villa itself is a true gem — beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully curated to provide maximum comfort and style. The spacious rooms, the peaceful atmosphere, and the breathtaking views made our stay unforgettable.

What can I say...the Casa Britto property was MORE than I ever imagined. It had a SPECTACULAR view, spacious, well furnished and clean. The property felt like it was nestled inside a botanical garden. Staying there was an incredible experience. I would also HIGHLY recommend their chef services. Christina and Marcela are EXCEPTIONAL cooks! I would DEFINTELY stay there, again.

We were so impressed by the beautiful pool area and the gorgeous yard - flowers, trees and lush greenery - a real Shangri la. We couldn't get enough of relaxing by the pool. We felt very safe and secure. Pedro and Yessenia, the friendly caretakers, live by the gate if you need them. Yessenia showed me how to make tortillas! The house is spacious and comfortable though it gets a bit hot in the house in the afternoon - that's when you want to be by the pool. The house cools off perfectly later in the afternoon - you just open the windows and turn on the fans. Then you have to close the windows before you turn on the lights because the light attracts insects. It is a very interesting house with interesting furnishings. It has a big collection of books for Spanish speakers and a number of beautiful and informative coffee table books (bilingual) about Costa Rica. It has lots of comfortable furniture and beds and plenty of kitchen ware. Wonderful place! Thanks Ernesto!
