Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in San Juan

Great location. Close to everything! Uber's were easy to get and fairly cheap to get to known places in San Juan. The condo is well air conditioned and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the water ran warm. The kitchen is fully stocked. Check in was a negative experience. I did not have the chance to communicate with Daniel directly, but the interaction with his staff felt unfriendly and unnecessarily aggressive. Being told "Excuse me" via text in a manner I perceived as rude was off-putting and out of the norm for me.While I understand there are policies in place, I felt it was inconsiderate to require payment at the exact moment of my arrival, especially after a long journey. I was under the impression that the small payment could be made within 72 hours, as indicated in the request. Having to put my belongings down outside to address this in an unfamiliar location felt unsafe and unwelcoming. Otherwise, a great place to unwind and enjoy what San Juan as to offer!

My family of 4 stayed here for an entire week and we loved it, it was everything we needed. Alfredo was a great host and gave very clear instructions for check in/check out. The location of this place is near a lot of fantastic places to get food. The building felt very secure and the staff was friendly. Not to mention, THE VIEW! We hope to stay at Alfredo’s again next year!

I can't express how wonderful this place is! Its location is ideal, just a short stroll from the beach and surrounded by various restaurants and retail drug stores. The condo itself was immaculate and spacious, equipped with everything you might need, including tableware, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The security staff were exceptionally friendly, and the entire building exuded a calm and clean atmosphere. The deck featured a lovely seating area along with beach chairs for relaxation. The only minor issue was the elevator; we experienced a hiccup when we got stuck upon arrival, and it broke down again on our last day, with others needing assistance. However, that's a common occurrence in buildings with elevators, and coming from NYC, I'm quite accustomed to it! The first-floor pool was absolutely delightful. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

10 out of 10 recommend booking this Airbnb for your next trip to Puerto Rico. I was always the type to book hotels, especially in the San Juan area, but staying in Condado is literally perfect. If you are someone who likes to walk around, have access to stores, beach, and restaurants literally right downstairs…This is the perfect location for you. The view from the Airbnb is impeccable And you don’t need to book a hotel on the beach to get the view of the ocean because it is perfect. I will definitely be rebooking this unit again soon, I wish I could’ve stayed longer because I truly enjoyed it so much. Everything was perfect and clean and the staff in the building were extremely helpful and friendly. If you are from the US, you will feel right at home as there are many people from the states both living and staying in the building. However, if you are from the island like myself, you will also feel right at home in this space. Thank you, Jennifer for being such a great host.

Rafael is a great host! He responded to all of our questions and went above and beyond. The place is amazing with a beautiful view to the beach and there’s many activities to do around. We were able to walk around, enjoy the area and felt safe doing so. Highly recommended!

I stayed for a week during a work trip, so chose the location based on proximity to a conference venue. Ubers are plentiful. The apartment looks exactly like the photos. The view is spectacular!!!! Yes, the AC units are loud when they cycle on but you get used to it. I loved the well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, and many other nice touches provided. The beach is within a 10 minute walk and everything you need is provided. Looking for another excuse to visit PR again so I can stay in this apartment.

The location was fantastic. So many good restaurants within a 10 minute walk either direction. Easy access to the beach. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay with easy access to beach, Old town, restaurants, etc. Lovely building with 24/7 door staff, who were all very friendly. Highly recommend this stay, everything as advertised. Even parking and a gym (I didn't use, but great to have).

Beautiful condo. a five minute drive from old San Juan. Five minute walk to the beach. Very clean all amenities included.

We had a great time at Frank's place. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with what we needed. The view from the balcony/patio, beautiful! You can see the ocean, the beach, Luquillo, the sunrise, etc. We have so many pictures from the patio! There was always a nice breeze to keep the inside cool. Beach access was fine however, the stairs to the beach are steep and there are a lot of them. Only one elevator was in working condition while we were there so we were extra thankful that Frank's place was only up one flight of stairs. Due to weather in Indiana, we arrived after dark. Google isn't the best when road signs are unavailable or in a language you don't understand. There are many speed bumps and one way streets in the neighborhood. Go slow and watch out for pedestrians, chickens and cats.

The apartment was very bright, clean and well-located. Really perfect and decent value!

Javier was a great host and has a great property. He was straight forward with what was expected, what the property was like, and how to best enjoy it. If we go back to Puerto Rico, I hope Javier’s place is available again. It was a great home base for us to hike in El Yunque and enjoy many nearby beaches. It was close enough to San Juan to enjoy that city too.

Loved the location. we did not have a car so it was nice to be in a happening neighborhood. I especially loved the very quick walk to the beach. We booked a tour for El Yunque and could walk to the pick up spot. Thanks for the coffee and decaf! Nice to have a cup before starting the days adventures. I really appreciated Josem’s quick replies to my questions.

Ron place was beautiful,nice view , people in the front desk are very nice and friendly. parking was a challenge but if you are staying around the area uber is the best option.

We had a nice stay at the condo. It is a nice place with everything you need, good location and we were able to walk and see all of old town by foot, was more affordable and offered easy parking options compared to places in old town, and finally the views from the condo were excellent! Alex and Jorge were excellent hosts. The area felt very safe and the house met expectations. We were met by the host upon check in with a warm greeting and assurance that we could reach out at any time if needed. It was in close proximity to restaurants and grocery stores. The pool, bedrooms, and grounds were very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay!

Awesome stay wish we could’ve stood longer. Had a small issue with the light but was easy to fix after the quick response from our host. My daughters loved the play area in the garage and took full advantage of the pool. There is a corner store that is walkable distance as well as a coffee shop and gas station. Was already trying to go back again before we left for the weekend but was already taken.

The best thing about this place is that it is very quiet at night. No coquis, no roosters -- unlike other PR airbnbs that claim to be quiet, this one actually is, and we were SO appreciative! Luis is a fantastic communicator. He was so helpful, went the extra mile to give us needed information. It's a very simple, basic place, but beds were very comfortable, the place was immaculately clean, and we felt very safe and comfortable.

Great place to stay away from the day to day routines.

It was an amazing stay, real quiet beautiful environment. Felt right at home beautiful kitchen, comfy rooms and living room. Also had board games to play whenever we were just chilling at the house. I’d give my stay a 10/10

We had an absolute fantastic time staying at Atlantic Dream. Communication was smooth, and we were provided detailed check in instructions and house rules. The community is very quiet, the home immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, surrounded by beaches and restaurants, as well as quick access to freeways. Our experience was nothing short of amazing, we will be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Jenny's home. The home is conveniently located just a short drive from the San Juan airport. The pool was a highlight of our trip for the kids and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We did encounter a minor maintenance issue during our stay, but it was handled promptly. Jenny was incredibly responsive and addressed it immediately, ensuring it didn't disrupt our experience. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, from pots and pans to cooking utensils. It made dining in so convenient when we wanted a quiet night at home. During our stay, we visited Old San Juan, El Yunique and luquillo beach. Overall the home is a great spot for a relaxing get away for our group of three families with four kids.
