Holiday rentals with a fire pit in San Luis Obispo County

The home is even more beautiful than the pictures give it credit. On a gorgeous plot of land, very spacious for 9-10 guests. Wish we had even more time there

My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary at the Coastal Retreat. Kerrie and Greg were very helpful during our stay and were very prompt in answering any questions we had. We will def be planning another stay at their place, so we can finish the missing parts of our Big Sur tour.

This place is soooo good! John and Julie have thought about every little detail. Lots of room, everything is new, great location, very proactive and friendly hosts!

The house was lovely and we enjoyed the setting, being surrounded by fields and animals! While it is away from downtown Pismo Beach, everything is very accessible and within a short car ride. There is lots to do in the area and we appreciated Laurie's recommendations for lovely wineries and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole house was very clean. As previously mentioned the barn doors to the Jack and Jill bathroom do not offer a ton of privacy (not a problem for us as it was just my kids sharing the bathroom). There is also another rental on the property, but it didn't have any impact on our stay. We would definitely return, if we are in the area again! Thank you, Laurie!

This was our second time to stay in this home for New Years weekend, and hopefully there will be more. We love this house and its charm. Kitchen is one of the best supplied Airbnb’s we have stayed in. We like to cook so that’s important to us. Neighborhood is peaceful and we love watching the deer in the area. Sometimes right out the front window. Close enough to town that a good walker can walk to park. Pictures look exactly like the house looks inside and out! Can’t wait to return.

Our family of eight, three generations, stayed here to celebrate being together. The house was perfect. The kitchen, the heart of the house, was huge, with lots of room and counter space for the cooks and tasters. It was well equipped and we enjoyed using it. The living room was spacious and comfortably accommodated us all. The bedrooms were comfortable. The downstairs rooms seemed confusing at first, but worked perfectly for two small families. The neighborhood was lovely and we all can’t wait to revisit Cambria. We would stay at Karen’s house again in a heartbeat! Thank you again for having us.

House was spacious and very clean. Looks exactly like the photos. Less than 10 minutes from downtown shops/bars/restaurants and within 20-25 minutes from all the wineries we visited. Right down the road from the Sensorio exhibition as well. Our group had a great time and I would recommend staying here.

Tim’s “Sunrise Suite” is a hidden gem. Located in a quiet neighborhood, yet, within close distance from downtown, Allegretto and shops. The welcome basket with a bottle of wine and snacks was such a treat! Will definitely book Sunrise Suite again.

We love visiting Morro Bay. This cozy home was perfect for 3 friends wanting to get away, relax and enjoy nature. It was a peaceful, lovely trip. Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen very clean. The TV provided many options for entertainment at night. Very close to restaurants and the bay. Would love to stay here again!

Wonderful! I enjoy walking everywhere from Aimee's place and the comfy setting and beautiful gardens shared with other guests. This apartment is perfect for people who like funky, imperfect, old houses and gardens, hiking (up to an old park-like cemetery) right out the door and wandering historic districts. Though I came alone, it would be great for 2 or 3 persons traveling on a budget who didn't all want to share one room. The high ceilings and tall windows let in a lot of light. I love the funky outdoor covered shower, especially sandy from the beach, but this won't be for everyone, particularly because it is cool on the Central Coast. I bring warm clothes all year long here. Wonderful restaurants a short walk and basic cooking here is easy with a great market down the street. This space has other guests upstairs and on both sides, so you can hear them occasionally so it will work best for social travelers and won't be the best for people who want perfect quiet.

Exactly as described. This location and host are a "5 Star" Airbnb for a reason.

We had a great time at Leanne’s place. The house was clean, organized, and set up with everything we needed. Leanne was great. We booked about 3 months prior to our stay and requested early check in as we had to be somewhere by 5. She was very responsive, followed up with me a few days before our stay as she said she would and again the day we arrived to let us know as soon as the house was ready. This was excellent service and I know she truly cares about her guests stay. Thank you Leanne for everything and we can’t wait to come back!

Cute little place. Matched the description. Comfy bed. Great location. Close to downtown and short drive to beaches. Was nice to spend time in front of the fire pit in the front yard. Had a small little inconvenience but Richard was responsive and went above and beyond to address it. Richard was a great host!

We stayed here for a quick babymoon and it was wonderful! Ali was extremely responsive and helpful, he had everything so easily mapped and planned out that finding the apartment and checking in was so easy. The apartment itself was quaint, adorable, and just the perfect size for the two of us! I personally loved the large bathroom and the shower was so nice. The apartment truly felt like home for the few days we were there. I grew up vacationing in Cambria as a child but getting to explore the area as an adult made the place even more magical. I was so grateful to be able to share this little town with my partner as a last getaway before we welcome our baby girl in May. Ali made it even more magical by discounting our rate by offering us the night of Valentine’s Day for free (we had originally booked only two nights) as a valentines gift as well as a celebratory gift for our baby. So incredible! We were so grateful for such a cozy, private spot. Will definitely recommend!!

This was my second weeklong stay at Julie and Bill's sweet little cottage in the vineyards. If anything, I loved it even more this time. The location is really unbeatable, right in the heart of wine country and a short drive to Paso Robles, Templeton and Atascadero. My little dog Pancho loved exploring the property, which is completely fenced right to the ground. The cottage also has a lovely little fenced lawn so Pancho could do all the rolling and sunning he desired right outside the cottage. The bed in the cottage is absolutely dreamy! I hope to return again next year! Thanks for sharing your wonderful place Julie and Bill!

My best friend and I had an amazing weekend at Staci’s adorable cabin. We went up for a girls weekend and it provided the perfect place for us to come home to each day after exploring the central coast. The location was incredible, right in the middle of all of the great wineries, but the cabin was peaceful and private which we loved. It had everything we could have needed and the scenery was gorgeous as well. Could not recommend this place more!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is a spectacular property with great amenities. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was fully stocked with NICE pans, knives, etc. All of the beds were comfortable and the bedding was nice. This is in my top 3 Airbnb’s ever.

This place is a nice gem - it is out of the way and a great way to escape and unwind!

This cabin is located in a great location within Oak Shores. Host - John responded to all of our questions promptly. Especially one critical medicine delivery. Optional “slip add on” which we used is great. Plenty of space for our 4 generations. Fyi — for the older folks best to use the garage entrance steps and him the main level bedroom. Great/wonderful deck!!! Next time I’ll sleep a night on it. Inside plenty of space, big enough kitchen, main floor has one bathroom which requires walking through the master bedroom. Not an issue for our family. If you like wildlife, take a boating trip straight across to the gentle sloping shoreline the deck faces. Gets real shallow so watch your depth. Float a bit and enjoy. For skiing/wakeboarding Saturday is a busy day where Friday and Sunday have moments of good water. Weekdays perfect. Stay clear of party cove on Saturday with little ones behind the boat. We will be doing it again. Paul

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this unique treehouse-style cabin! The hosts have gone above and beyond with thoughtful touches and attention to every detail, making the space both comfortable and luxurious. The private hot tub off the master bedroom was such a relaxing highlight, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect retreat. It’s clear the hosts truly care about their guests’ comfort. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to everything!

Patricia's place was truly magical. The expansive views in all directions of the hills and the lake-- sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous from the perch of the home. The home itself was clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. Patricia was kind and responsive in her communications. The most special Airbnb I've ever stayed in and I've been to over a hundred!
