House holiday rentals in San Saba

This was a wonderful place to stay. The bathrooms and kitchens were beautiful. (Well stocked and clean.) There was a fantastic, well-lit, cozy area to read, and plenty of privacy for our family. We hope to stay here again each time we visit our family in Bluffton. I cannot wait to stay here in the summer to enjoy the pool. My favorite thing about this home was that there were not any bugs or cobwebs. They keep this home incredibly clean!

Thunderbird Lodge is a great place to stay for large groups. The unit has 5 bedrooms and a big common area. The kitchen has a lot of counterspace. The area is about 10 minutes from Burnet.

We had an amazing weekend at Mandy’s house! The house was very cozy and easily fit the 5 of us, and the pool & deck were so nice to enjoy the sunny afternoon! Mandy was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions prior to the visit. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place to stay for my wedding party. Leah has beautiful property that has everything you need. I highly recommend it!

My kids and I loved this house. I have a daughter who's 6 and a son, who's almost 15 and he really enjoyed the third bedroom gave him a sense of independence. It was such a nice layout. The bathtub is amazing.Super cozy a great vacation stay!

Debby was a wonderful host. Very helpful with clear instructions about the Airbnb particulars and check-in and check-out. The mid-century modern decor was so fun! And the “tree top” feel and beautiful views of the lake were very enjoyable! My grandkids really enjoyed the swimming pool! We had a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Heathers Lakehouse! The house was clean, modern, and upscale. Even though the weekend was a little chilly, it didn’t stop the kids from trying out the paddle boards and swimming in the lake. The boys spent their evenings fishing while we watched from the porch. The area was beautiful as was the house and we would definitely visit again!

Very peaceful and serene. Loved the convenience of the boat dock for easy access to the lake and for enjoying a very relaxing time hanging out watching the sunsets. Thanks for sharing your place and helping us create new memories with our family.

We spent Labor Day weekend at this stunning home, and it was an incredible experience! The house was absolutely perfect.

This place was amazing, I don't think the pictures do it justice. My friends called me as soon as they got there to tell me how amazing the place looked and to get there quickly! We wanted a weekend gateway and this place was perfect for that. With HEB and Walmart nearby we were able to get the convenience of a store and the quiet of the outdoors. We also loved the fire pit!

Very quick communication from the host. We stayed there for a few days and had a phenomenal time! Water level was a little low but we were still able to walk out a bit and swim. It's a wonderful property and great for a short get away.

Jeff and Margot have a cute little spot! The lake house was super clean and well furnished. Beds were comfy, full sized kitchen was great for making all of our meals! My family of 7 was very comfortable in the house. Will definitely stay again! The lake was low due to lack of rain, but Jeff and Margot provided a guide with activities to do in the area, made it easy to trek to the lake with carts and a cut out path. We loved watching movies from their large selection as well! There was plenty of parking near the house, we had 3 vehicles and a small boat.

Place was way more spacious in person. Very close and walkable to the cafe and restaurant. The feel of the place was so comfortable it made the stay amazing. Had the perfect small town country feel. Would recommend to everyone and will use this place again. Very unique and has some old town history.

Very quiet and peaceful place to stay in the hill country. There was a deer feeder in front of the master bedroom and porch. I was able to see a deer feeding while sitting on the porch each morning. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Our stay at Leaning Oaks Ranch in the 1893 farmhouse was absolutely delightful! It's a sweet escape, offering a rustic and quiet retreat. The location, tucked away on a cattle ranch down a dirt road, provided the perfect peaceful atmosphere, yet was still conveniently close to town. We especially loved our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, watching the cows graze nearby. It was a truly unique and charming experience. We also enjoyed drives and walks around the property, spotting cows, deer, jack rabbits, and armadillos! Margaret was a gracious and welcoming host, sharing the fascinating family history of the property with us. Would love to return, especially when the wildflowers are in bloom. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a tranquil and authentic ranch experience!

Great pre-holiday stay on the lake! Beautiful location and a comfortable, well-decorated home. The lake views and big picture windows were great. So peaceful sitting out and watching geese and gulls, herons and osprey fly by. Heather thought of everything with the many available amenities and games at the house. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the fully stocked kitchen, personalized welcome sign and the Christmas decorations. The place was super spacious. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to spread out. There was a steep driveway and a walk down to the lake and over rocks to get to the dock, but neither were any problem at all. The only minor issue was that I didn’t realize ahead of time the WiFi out in the country had limitations. We’re a screen and streaming-loving family, one of whom had trouble with some work he needed to finish online. But overall , it was a great stay!

Very clean and updated home with all the kitchen and bathroom items you need. Hot tub and portable fire pit. Also had a couple kayaks though with the water being low, it was a few mins walk to the actual waterfront. Deer every evening. In all it was a nice week relaxing and visiting with family.

This by far is one of the best rental houses ever stayed in. Updated modern house with all amenities. Very spacious for families and Julie is always there if needed anything. When I go back I will be staying there. Highly recommend staying at any property Mrs Julie has.

If you are going to Colorado Bend State Park, then this is a great place to stay! (Otherwise there is absolutely nothing out here!) The state park is great, and that was our destination for great hiking, and this Airbnb was extremely comfortable with tons of comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and kitchen. Host gave great communication. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD- or plan to drive 15-20 minutes. There are three "restaurants" in Lometa near this place, but after entering one that felt like a prison with no windows and had a stagnant smell, we left and drove to Lampasas and found Alfredo's on the river. The day we left, we went through San Saba which had really nice city parks to walk in- highly recommend! And hit the Pecan stores! One was even open on Sunday!
